I read that Beyoncé‘s makeup artist applies her foundation while the moisturizer is still damp to give her a glowy look...chile I looked like a big ball of oil 😂 so I agree with that first step of letting the moisturizer sink in!

awesome video..great tips..i like to do light layers as well and after each layer i use a puff and powder and press into the skin for each layer after blotting with tissue and there rarely is transfer.
love the content of your videos. on tip 1 it would have helped to show what primer you use or which primers are good for helping the foundation to stick to the skin

I came here only after ruining my friend's blazer while hugging him (did not tell about him but yes there was a small stain from my cheeks). I do set my make up with translucent powder and setting spray. I don't know why it still transfers.
There's also the possibility of an issue with the formulation of your primer and foundation. if you are using a water based primer, use a water based foundation - if you use a silicone based primer then make sure your foundation is also silicone based. If you mix different formulations the products will not blend into each other and cake up.
Hi Christine, I know that Joanna has said that she has dry skin so maybe she's not an expert or experienced. I have oily skin and can recommend that you moisturise your face (with a light foundation after you have washed your face) to reduce oil production (long term) and then get a mattifying silicone primer which you should set with a translucent powder (or baby powder if you don't have). Shiee, I struggle with horribly oily skin! I will wash my face and I swear, less then a few minutes later it's back to oily! I have found the brand "Formula 10.0.6" to make an amazing moisturizer called "Seriously Shine Free". That stuff alone takes care of all the oil with or without makeup. As for a primer, I have fallen in love with the VERY inexpensive "Wet 'N Wild: PhotoFocus Face Primer" in "matte". It's been a life saver for me!
So i was watching this video with my mam and she was like "how do you transfer lipstick? So you kiss kiss each other"😂😂😂until you mentioned the glass and the folk😂😂 African mams though🌋 And then on the lipstick tip.. You could also tap eye shadow (instead of powder) on it... Like an eyeshadow of the same colour of course😂😂just a little bit.. It makes it non transferrable
