It's really good man, Denon has been always on par with Pioneer in DJ booths everywhere. You will appreciate Denon's prime devices especially if you've been DJing for a while and don't rely too much on metadata and visual information from the computer. All these Prime consoles are so good at liberating you from the chains of PC; so to me, it feels like the best of both worlds. This is because you get the lightweight advantages and mobility of playing digital combined with the tools and immersion that the old analog and early digital formats offered. The response time of the system is great, performance-grade software is there, and you need to use your skills to make everything happen. It still feels fantastic to carry all my music on a simple HDD drive inside my unit, while also carrying a 256 GB back up drive on my keychain, I would never forget how in the past we carried huge and heavy vinyl cases and book binders packed with CD's just to be covered for any crowd at gigs. Now I only take my Prime 4 and loud speakers, connect them, and I'm good to go. Cool stuff.
i traded in all pikneer dj equipment for denon a year ago and denon shits on everything. ive owned all kinds of gear. the prime 4 is the dopest thing ive ever used
I got excited by the title. I thought I was going to learn something useful. You need to change the name of this video say "Denon DJ PRIME user..." I have several Denon products but all are Serato.
I would really like your DJ courses tailored to the Denon prime 2/4. It's the one reason I haven't bought it yet. And yes, I fully realise that most features/functions are controller agnostic. Still, a course that 100% matches the gear I'm using would be most appreciated!
I have owned a prime4 now for about 4 months, and is amazing. I dont think i would switch out this gear, like ever! Mabye just add on 1 or 2 LC6000 in the future some time☺️👏🏻👌🏻
Ive watched this before but didnt have a cpu of my own yet but i just added my logo of choice to my decks cool feature and way easier then i expected lol
I have a feeling the next release Prime GO will have the eq nobs vertical as should be and larger jogs ...just the way they plan it. As tempting as it is to buy this first GO , i think waiting for the next one would be best....and you know it's coming after a while
What I would love the ability to do, is select all songs of a folder and make a playlist on the device, without needing a laptop. This feature, if it exists, is so hidden.
Just new to this rig. I’m not sure if I’m the only one, I’ve updated to 1.6beta. When using 4 decks, I could not load some tracks afterwards. Also my hot cues aren’t save on USB1. USB2 works pretty well.
Hi Guys, why can't I do a pull up/wheel up on the denon sc live 4? when ever I rewind the track and then keep tapping cue it just stops the track wherever I started the pull up from
Thx for the video. Is there a way to change the BPM of a track on the Denon Prime Go? I am noticing that the Grid is off quite often and sometimes. The BPM is completely wrong.
Has the prime 4 ever frozen on you? My scream froze on me yesterday. The manual controls still worked but the scream froze for about 20 minutes until it came back.
I hope you can help here. Q: I have music on my USB, and I’m mixing tracks, however, once one track is done, it doesn’t highlight it yellow, or any other colour to show it’s already been played. Can the Prime 4+ do this like Serato Pro?
I've got the Prime Go unit... awesome kit! With smart loop on and quantize, it doesn't seem to start the loop at the beginning of the bar?? what am I doing wrong?
my prime 4 froze yesterday while streaming from tidal and using usb at the same time. I can't trust a unit that does that. the hardware controls were still working but the screen froze after a while when it came back. what do you think about this?
I wanted a small stand alone controller for live streaming whilst traveling, I have the cdj3000 and in to the pioneer system and rekordbox. I have taken the plunge and purchased the Denton go, and will have to put up with a bit of additional management of playlists for live streaming. Do you think this will be an headache?
Denon Prime 4 Needs Sampler back. Needs Autoplay in standalone mode. Zone needs to be able to select specific track to play and you should be able to switch from computer to standalone mode seamlessly.
You use computer mode when your loading tracks from your laptop onto the SSD if you've put one in. Engine prime software on your laptop will pick up the SSD there and you drag your tracks onto it that way.
Any tips on how to Edit a Cue point on the Prime 4.. Just came from Vinyl lol yes... Really... Just came from Vinyl to the Prime 4 just yesterday, I accidentally set my First cue point on the Second beat of the second bar on a track lol and I can't figure out how to change it or even delete it.. It's doing my head in. Cheers.
@@jamesearly7388 Hey buddy, thanks so much for your help. Lol I was literally pulling my hair out. Just did it, and it was so simple. Lol hahahahahahahaha. Will just take me a while to figure this all out. Thanks again. Appreciate it. Cheers.
@@Crossfader hey guys. Thanks. Worked a treat. Will just take me a while to figure everything out. Literally just bought this on Saturday morning and trying to get my head around it all. Will take a bit of getting used to. Cheers
You need to drag and drop the logo into the laptop folder where the folder engine prime is located. Just the logo. I hoped this helps. Still learning myself too.
Your logo must be 600 x 600 pixels, 300dpi, and called "logo" save it as a png file, (not a jpeg) and drag and drop from your pc folder to prime 4 engine folder. You should already see a file called logo.png in there, all you're doing is replacing it. Works for me everytime. 😉👍
Please make a video on numark mixtrack platinum. Is it best to buy? what is the advantages and disadvantages of this .because I am going to purchase it.
What computer could be used that will be compatible with his controller? How much ram is needed Really appreciate your input 👍 Much blessings 🙌 Ty 🎛🎚🎤🎧😎👍
