Kvk matchmaking really f us up, every kd try their hardest to get some little advantage. zeroing dead weight, zeroing low contribute in kvk, zeroing casual player. People have their own life to go through. Why don't they just set a accept or decline to join kvk button?. Anyone that click decline, their power doesn't count towards kvk matchmaking
Crystal tech, When you are already at the top, people who pay money will beat other f2p player who max their stuff but not cyrstal tech, because it is p2w. New commander, New meta com will defeat old com, thats how it is, f2p player struggle to get good march, will suffer Rss and speedup, Everyone needs to get around 3-5 farms to get enough rss for Kvk. If there is no rss, then you will not be able to fight. Time, You need to fight at 2am or 4.30pm during working, which is ridiculous for casual player
My kingdom is reaching kvk 2 and we have been overflood with cross season migrants. I think there is even a VIP 18 now. Lots of players with awesome armaments and equipments. As a f2p with 24M power, I'm still strugling to build my first legendary equipment with the kvk blueprint. For now, it's awesome to see those strong people helping us, but when the fight comes and we face the same power in the other side...this will be frustating.
at some point, they're indicate they're stopping allowing cross season kvk2 repeats based on feedback from early game players i dont think they've closed it off yet. there's plenty of trash players avoiding open SoC for some reason
A lot of those accounts are usually bought, but there are a lot of "whales" they arent really they either just had the account for so long finally got there or they bought one for way less than it cost to get there, but they just keep going back to kvk 2 over and over again to avoid having to face real competition.
i agree that the marketing is awful but the kvk 1 thing is good if you are willing to wait cuz you can build a good community. but kvk 2 comes around WAYY to quick compared to kvk 1
They are not in a particular order: 1.- The game takes an eternity to improve things, if you are an F2P player you will have to wait almost months just to improve something that is not so relevant as to get the troops to the maximum level which will also take a long time. 2.- Many times the kingdoms have an alliance that maintains a monopoly on events so that you cannot enjoy them or grow as a player. 3.- The game is too expensive and is focused on players who are willing to spend a lot of money on it. if you are an F2P player you will have to be aware that you will never be more powerful than those players who invest exorbitant amounts of money in the game, given that it is updated costingly by putting in new elements that will not be easy or quick to obtain.
Yes, the "Nepo Baby Kings" is a real thing. Kingdoms should be able to vote players IDs out from ever owning a kingdom title. Old accounts go back to newer kingdoms just so they can the bully on top.
"Either All in or All out" I don't think anyone can describe this in a better way than you do. The game eventually just becomes responsibility and sometimes even a chore, unless you spend a few bucks a month it is extremely difficult to keep up. Imagine the best advice you get from experience is hoarding the important things to the end game (SoC) that's like 250 or more days to wait. And yes when you reach it it's definitely worth it but I don't think new players to the game have the patience for that.
I just told our "King" their rules make the game a chore and not a means of relaxation that a game should be about. The game itself is enough of a chore already, and f2p to value spenders can't suppress their growth AND be effective in kvks. But idiots with more money than brains never understand this, and a player will have zeroing reckoning if they accidentally steal a whales extra gold head. Punishments meant to enrich the money splurging whales kills the activity of the kingdom. Good luck to most finding 300+ whales to play with, who all accept a few getting event rewards constantly.
The game requires either lots of time or lots of money. And you’re meant to do as the kingdom does or else you’re zeroed and sent to Zone 1. Mobile games aren’t meant for people to sit and grind for hours a day.
I am a f2p i quit the game today. I was grinding everyday more than 10 hours. On day 13 of my KD my power is 1.85M But the community is toxic, resist and ego full. When i asked the top alliance leader to get me in their alliance, she called reward hooper and then they say they are experienced leader 🤷. But still i was in an alliance 3-4 big whales but they migrated after watching the toxicity of top leaders. Then i joined the 2nd top alliance and 1 r4 kicked me out and when i asked him why you kicked me. He replied this" stop your mouth facking slave". My eyes were full with tears. But i still played and today i thought why i am grinding and losing my valuable days and f2p can easily beat me sun tzu 5551 easily with their maxed commanders. But why f2p play this game i don't know!! I also want to add this that in the top alliance there is no f2p the required power is 3M😢. I don't think any f2p can reach 3M in 13days
Deadweight is a massive issue, everyone wants to get rid of them and nobody wants to take them. There is a reason the game has less than a 1% retention rate from start of kingdom to SOC. You have over 3000 kingdoms with less than 150 active people that are afraid to grow in any meaningful manner because if you do, you might end up imperium and get beat up even worse. The game is totally all about doing as much as you can with as little as you can. During one of Lilith meet and greets they said the US is the largest base of players, which might be true but as a US player who just quit last month. I dont see it, the game is VERY Euro time based and horrible for American players, A lot of kvk is sit and wait and defend unless you want to skip work/school to be online when majority of the field fighting happens. Power creep is massive, KVK 1 through 3 you lose a lot of players because they cant keep up because they were told not to invest in any legendary commanders so when SOC hits then they can invest, well thats like nearly a year of not investing, what fun is that. I played several years ago (before kvk was even a thing) I quit because life just didnt allow at that time, I came back about a year or so ago with a new account and after getting into SOC and learning what the game had become I just quit like 3 weeks ago let my vip 17 city get zeroed after migrating to another basically dead kingdom(for US players, the kingdom itself wasnt dead) Told them to zero me, signed off and uninstalled the game from pc and phone.
I am currently playing other P2W games on the side to ROK. In the game i shant call out - servers would die off in about ~3 months - and be merged into others. ROK has a high "infant mortality" rate but i've seen much, much worse. Putting aside the infant mortality drop off, i think community has a large aspect in quitting. 1. People play the game for a very long time because of thier friends (community) 2. When friends and groups disband, players may disengage and quit 3. The community actively, in well run KDs will zero and pursue deadweight - until they migrate out or force them quit the game entirely
They didnt even let you delete your own account and if you want to, you must have all the receipt from top up from the first to the last. If you dont have the receipt then the cs/admin they wont delete your account
bro every time i bring up and issue the first thing i get told is "if you dont like it quit bro". For some reason im not allowed to like a game but dislike things about it. I dont know when this changed
you forgot. kvk 2 and 3 is unplayable especially kvk3. f2p get complitely obliterated by SOC accounts that migrated to kvk2 and 3. way to fix new kingdoms entring soc is to consider average account age in the kingdom when matchmaking in SOC.
This is not a good game for new players at all. Even if you whale out, you will do well in kvk1 but then you are a scrub once migrants come in no matter how much you spend. If you are new and F2P, forget it, jumper projects for practically every new kingdom and unless you kiss up to their leadership, you will be asked to migrate out by kvk 3.
Its because of matchmaking, EVERY level 25 city figures into matchmaking regardless of its contribution. Its amazing how a kingdom goes from 20,000 people(1st or 2nd monument bronze age I think) to less than 150 active players in less than a year and lillith thinks thats ok.
@@HitmanJ-x7k you pretty much play kingdoms close to your age until kvk5. It does not take long for kingdoms to realize, you just need one main alliance.
@@Obiwantuan yeah but when you figure there were 20k cities in a kingdom at start up and in less than a year its less than 120 on average, it doesnt make for a good experience for a lot of people. When you lose 99% of your players, its not good. Most kingdoms have MASSIVE downtimes due to this and being a US player sadly thats when I played the most, so trying to play a war game when 99% of the alliance is sleeping ruins the fun.
@@HitmanJ-x7k the recent changes will help, you can only travel 120 days back in time going forward. No more 2000 day players going back and taking all the rewards. I am in a highly competitive kingdom and we keep about 250-300 players. Even then we force those who don't do much to migrate out and bring in new blood every kvk. For us, top 300 ch25 is part of matchmaking. If you are in a kingdom with 120 actives, might be best to find a usa kingdom with more people if you want to enjoy kvk and not get run over. It does get better in SoC with downtime as you can be in coalitions, if your kingdom is mostly asleep, you can just join an alliance of a kingdom in your coalition that's awake.
@@Obiwantuan its no longer top 300 its top 900(or all level 25s if under 900) and I am well into SOC(or was) VIP 17 85 million. Its not about being run over, its about fun and building and the game isnt about building its about getting as slim as you possibly can. If you are 250 to 300 players you are in Imperium if you are in SOC which literally everyone tries to avoid because it cuts down on being able to recruit AND puts you up against major powerhouses like 60 and 93 etc. And lowest power imperium can not grow enough to really face one of those kingdoms because of the restrictions.
