To me, werewolves are the coolest yet scariest creatures/monsters out there. I don’t think there’s anything that can really inspire so much fear in a person than an alpha predator that only cares about feeding and brutally killing its prey. Keeping this in mind, I have to question why I listen to these stories late at night when I know I won’t sleep after listening to them.
haha I don't blame you. I'm in a suburban area near a freeway, but it's still kind of woodsy. We've had issues with coyotes in the past, so I wouldn't put it past something larger to come along. 😬
kaitlin They don't kill for fun and won't hurt you unless you want to hurt it. I've had a awesome (scary) encounter with one. But all it did was look us up and took off at incredible speed. No doubt 20 feet was a fraction of a second for it and it could've killed us easily. It is intelligent. If I wanted to hunt it I truly believe we would have died.
I have some questions about story #3: So Natalie's family kept the garage open to the outside, or this creature was able to manipulate a door to get into the garage? If it can manipulate a mechanism to get into a garage it can't open a door? It was human at some point enough to break into the garage, and also to escape Natalie's father, but didn't want to get inside badly enough after being spotted that it was deterred by Natalie shutting the door? Natalie said her caffeine supply was getting low, but also that her father and dog checked out the garage while she was scared hysterical; as bad as the damage was, she couldn't see it from the light of the hallway? If the door had been torn from the refrigerator shouldn't the light of the refrigerator still have been going(assuming it was still plugged in)? Also, since it was getting low, wouldn't that mean she had had a soda earlier, if she was being lazy earlier then she would have gotten one from the garage and the damage happened between the time that she got the soda and when the father inspected the garage. Natalie said her family showed her the garage all torn up. But it was only a moment from the time she screamed until her father came. Meaning that all the damage must have been done before her Father came, no one in the house, the dog included heard the sound of the attached garage being torn up? No glass shattering, no tools jostling, no refrigerator doors being tossed aside?
I believe Dogmen exist, that said thank you for this comment. I thought the same thing. There is no way it thrashed the garage without anyone noticing.
Honestly when danger is near me I become very calm n collective. Looking at my surroundings n plotting escape or attack.... One of the perks of being emotional suppressed n abused
I come from a village with many stories, but they were always about strange things that many might call magic. Although, being surrounded by forest and having a lot of wolves, no wonder we had so many werewolf stories. Here is one our friend told us after being lost for 2 days in the woods. He went too far one evening and once it got dark he got lost. Next morning he wasn't able to recognize anything around him. He was 9 btw. He wondered through the woods all day, supposedly not crying, when it started getting dark again. That's when he met this man who didn't ask any questions but offered to walk him back to the village. By the time they got to the edge of the woods it was very dark. They walked a bit down the field when the man told him to precede alone, and requested my friend not to turn around. He said he tried not to look but he was too curious. When he looked back he saw a wolf walking back into the woods and not the man. What do you think?
This one time I was in the woods near my house and I saw this actual real dogman and even interacted with it. It had a head shaped like a German Shepherd and it was the same colours too. We locked eyes for a seemingly endless four seconds or so before he ran straight towards me. The terrifying thing though was that when I encountered this particular dogman, he (definitely a he because I saw his willy) was actually moving around on all-fours. So he charged towards me but I decided to stand my ground because I thought that running could provoke an attack. When he got right close to me I held out my hand in a non-aggressive way, he gave me a couple of sniffs and then rubbed his head against my hand. I was astounded! He ended up being very lovely and especially liked being scritched behind his pointy ears. He was a hecking good dogboi.
Back then: I have no clothes, it's sunrise, and I'm alone far in the forest. I must be a werewolf. Now: I have no clothes, it's sunrise, and I'm alone in the woods. That party was awsome
Awesome! I love this kind of stuff! All really cool stories! The narrator is good too! I just set my phone down, kicked back, and listened to all 5 stories. It was almost like sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories. 👍👍 The full moon, and clouds were a nice touch too! It even had spooky music in the background. These stories seem pretty credible also. Werewolves have always been my favorite monster! I hope they do exist, even though I'd probably freak if I saw one! I don't scare easy either.
The story of the third encounter in story five sounds questionable to me. After the first two encounters Sean would have been convinced of what he saw and none too willing to be home alone at night. The creature at that point knew where he lived and could easily have gotten into his home. Which would have made the thought of staying home alone at night frightening for anyone in that position
hearing about the boy who was raised by wolves sounds similar to a story I read about a young girl who's family was killed by bandits or native americans in the late 1800's or early 1900's here in my home state of Texas the girl was raised by wolves local people tried catching her but never could she was either shot and killed or found dead years later people reported seeing human looking wolves

I've never heard of dogs killing cattle or wildlife anywhere out here in the Netherlands... But in the woods near my house there's a road that is very similar to the one described in the story.

I have a theory for the #2 story. What if the farmer was the werewolf? Think about it! He outright denied he lost any sheep, he had a cage on his property and there were more sightings in the same area? What if the farmer was lying he lost any sheep to try and cover up that he was the werewolf?
My werewolf encounter (I think) When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I was walking home from my grandparents house at mid day, our properties are connected so it was a 3 to 4 minute walk to my house. Now we have an old workshop the middle of our property, and is the size of an old trailer. (Because it is) I was walking past the trailer, and when I turned to me left to see a HUGE wolf like thing looking at me. The fur was like a normal grey wolf, but what shocked me most was that it was larger than a normal wolf, and the fact that wolves are not very common the part of the state I live in. It had huge yellow eyes, and was very muscular. It stared at me for a good minute, then booked it in the other direction. I ran over to see where it went, but it disappeared into the woods next to our house that lead to a mountain. It STILL scares the crap out of me.
Werewolves need more about them they're fun to watch. I'm also a big fan of Werewolves and Werewolf movies especially ones in videogames. My favorite Videogame Werewolves are Sonic the Werehog and Skyrim Werewolves.

I believe in mythology and such and I'm glad I do. I'm more cautious now and I love fantasy things. Werewolves, Dragons, etc. I just find them so interesting!
I just watched 2 werewolf movies last night. "When Animals Dream", and "Uncaged". I liked both, "Uncaged" was pretty funny as well. "When Animals Dream" was much more serious-toned.
Questions about story #4 You're staying with your uncle, but there's not enough room for everyone in the cabin, or you just wanted to sleep in a tent? The uncle knew about a creature in the woods, but allowed you to stay outside anyway? The uncle presumably knew how to scare it off, as the shotgun blast worked; but how did he know the shotgun would scare it off?
i believe it's possible for something like this to actually exist out there in the world. But I don't believe that it's something that transforms from man to wolf and back again. I believe it's always in werewolf form. Who knows? It's a big world out there. Strange things creep in the night.

I saw a werewolf nearly once it was my mum's birthday and I should know it was New Years and I looked outside the gate and I told her big black figure man dog looking like I don't want that home I thought it again went home again got there yeah it was down at the front yard looking inside my house and I got scared about it he had yellow tinge you stop eyes long black thick fur a big massive upper body not pause between human and human hands and Paws of a dog and a snout a little bigger or dogs and this was bloody huge future of me cause I'm 6 foot 2 and something this one was like 7 so I think
#3. "Werewolf in my garage" was the scariest to me mostly due to just how much this seems to happen to humans, as the only reason these creatures could get in is if the garage door was unlocked or a vent entrance, and seeing a towering frame and predatory eyes standing just mere feet away is extremely disturbing to me. The darkness trying to hide something that you can't see and not looking could result in a horribly brutal end. I warn all humans to be careful even in garages... even in neighborhoods as you don't know what could be lurking in the shadows... waiting for your back to be turned.
