Im 6'2 tall and have no issues on Gixxer.. Secondly, I have done 320kms multiple times in a matter of 5-6 hours.. Touring is not a problem.. So 2 points invalid.. Pillion seat yes, least comfortable in the class but its not unusable as I have had a pillion travelling that far with me.. Headlamp is poor like most bikes in the class except for the NS160.. I have installed 35 watt LED to sort this and works brilliantly.. Yes rear view mirror is average but manageable..
pravin murthy Hi good to know gixxer can do 320 kms . am confused between r15 v3 or gixxer. can v3 do 320 at a stretch ?? i understand both falls in diff segments, but am not a tourer like flicking in traffic as I comute 50 kms per day. is r15 v3 ok for occasional touring for about 300 odd kms one way???
stop misleading people I have gixxer for more than 3 years and 35k km. Its comfortable for rider. If you are solo its best 150cc for long rides. Rider seat is good suspensions are stiff.Own a bik first, dont test ride and review.
Sourav Bhagat If clutch is adjusted correctly after service than it becomes smooth. But after few 100 kms it becomes hard again but you can still change gears on time. You will get used to shifting like that after clocking first few kms and it won't be problem any more.
I rode this bike for 1700 kms in 2 days. Great handling and control. Nice engine. Gearshifts will work smoothly if u change to motul fully synthetic engine oil. Avg 40-45.
I am riding Gixxer since last 4years clocked more than 80K kms never found it rider position uncomfortable it is the best in segment with the ample power and performance also for your information Upright position is always best for long rides hope you got it Mr. Self proclaimed bike reviewer.. do proper study and then make a video don't mislead people.
Riding since almost 7 years over 1L plus Km .. trust me this is best bike ever in this price. Best engine quality , best handling , best mileage everything is best even for long ride. i have done 500km + in single day with no issue .. don't trust this guys .. Bro the seating position is very best in this segment...no problem for long ride .. #Avg-48-52km/lit in city road... Bike is very thrilling, cornering is very good, handling is very smooth n easy, breaking is very quick n give u a confidence on corners n rainy season ... Im using gixxer since september 2016, aur Very often main hills pe tour v karta hun har roz approx 350-400 km during my touring days. Kabhi v koi prblm nehi hua long drive pe.

Engine oil kaha leakage hai, magnet cover pe? If yes then company get changed it you are regular customer in free of cost. Chain kee liye MOTUL CHAIN LUBE spray lelo.
I have one, no mirror problem, the problem I have is that the underbelly scrapes on HUGE speed breakers. Other than that it's just perfect to me. The sitting position is not a problem, people take RCs to Leh, it's all about passion and commitment. Yes, headlight can be better, but you can put in a 60w light like ns160.
40,000 km and running smoothly. Parts are reasonable. Low maintenance bike in this segment. Best performance This is my first new bike and I'm happy riding it. It's been 2.5year now Good bike

Totally agreed with your review. Owning a Gixxer since 2 years. I have come through all the problems. 1. LED doesn't make the head-light perfect. Actually it worsens. 2. Long ride, the engine gets heated up and then the engine is not efficient. Less pickup and less mileage. 3. 2018 model could have made with clip-on handles (for SF), but they didn't.
i am using gixxer since 2 and half years..completed 35K kmtrs.. If ur engine is heating,use fully synthetic oil that will help u.. After 30K Kmtrs I am using fully synthetic oil now Its 5K kmtrs already.,need to topup now..
Mahn.... These small things like seat , led light can be modified and don't gonna cost much.... Main thing is about engine and mileage.... I am driving gixxer for last 2 year. With modified seat and led light which cost me just 600 rupees. I have travelled from Delhi to rishikesh , Delhi to Chandigarh , and there is no uncomfortable ride in that. It's mileage is far better than FZ or Hornet.
I have Gixxer 2015 model. Every time I do service in service centres only in time to time. Even for chain cleaning I prefer only authorised service centres. Major problem with my bike is gear shifting. It's too hard that my left shoe is getting damage. I completed 38,000 kms and I went to almost 7 authorised service centres in hyd and no one cleared my problem and they are simply saying that its common in Gixxer. I really hate Gixxer and now planning to upgrade to Honda CBR 250r. The only reason to upgrade is the gear shifting issue.
Everyone has different opinions.. but I like that my gear is hard but while shifting we just have to release the clutch slightly back from its full reign to shift it.. and then the gearshaft works perfect... I had this similar problem you faced on my gixxer but after trying this method the gearshift works perfectly..
It's up to you but I don't feel such problem, I have owned GS150R BOTH. No issue for both. Litterly I touched speed 130+km/h in my GS. But gixxer is less
I had ride 300km non stop but always there is difference in avrage at every long drive.... Mumbai Nasik spent 900rs petrol for return and next day Mumbai pune spent 600rs petrol. Which is huge difference in cost and less difference in km.
Brother i have taken my gixxer sf sp to ladhak from kota rajasthan and i have been riding on this bike for 323 km non stop and i am 5"11 tall still i didn't feel any issue with the seating posture. But yes i too agree with you that the pellion comfort i not at all comfortable other than this demrit for me this is the best bike under this segment.
Iska side stand v thoda sidha type ka hai. Matlab normal jaga pe khade karne se gari pura sidha rahta hai... Or 100 k upar speed uthane par vivration hota hai... Hum aksath 216km ride kiye hai. Waist or leg me bahut dard hota hai...
I drove this bike from Chennai to Yercaud -350+ km in a 7-8 hrs. Going there was easy though as I was excited about long ride n even bike shows good performance but after 24hr I hv to come back also n trust it was a painful task after riding 100 km , I felt tiredness n pain in my lower half. Even due to continuous usage there was some sound in the engine while coming back. Somehow I managed to come n put my bike for servicing. So if you want to go out for long ride always choose under 150 km destinations for comfortable ride. Otherwise this bike has super cool riding control n balance in city traffic n I luv riding it alone as pillion seat really sucks with every time I applied brake. But if you have gf at backside seat means then u will luv riding LoL
Owning a Gixxer I would say 3 points are invalid. I am of 6.1 height and have 0 issues regarding seat height. Instead I'll recommend tall people for this bike. Mirrors are so damn awesome I can even cover blindspots. I also own a fz and I am going to change the mirros of fz to the ones we get on gixxer. Long rides have been no issues for me I have 200kms on it and I do not feel any pain in my back or legs.
Dost. Maine 10000 km se jyada ride Kari hai iss bike pe in last 4 months. It is better than pulsar, apache & R15 (earlier I had pulsar & I my friend has R15). Just ask at service center to adjust the handle bar a bit down.
Bhai perfect bike batao??.. Iss segment mein this is the best bike.. U can mod its rearview mirrors lights etc... Wat else do u expect from a budget bike...???? The machine is great i have 2016 model and it has been 2 n half years yet the bike has shown no problem at all... Proud owner of suzuki..!!!

Your observation is good. But i want to say that I rode more than 100 km within two and half hours. I felt much better. I have no idea about six feet taller. But it is uncomfortable for two person.
I'm Gixxer owner and there no issue in bike... Bhai channel ka naam change karke *a2y disadvantage* rakhde.. mana ki pillion seat long ride ke liy jyada comfortable nhi hai.. but Bhai ko Puri bike se lekar mirror tak problem...lol😂😂😂
Guys Ek Suggestion Chiye. Gixxer ABS ya Rtr 160 4V konsa lena better rahega ? Bike thodi long time chalni chhiye ... Isliye relaible engine bhe ek criteria hai
1st disadvantage is bullshit. I am 5feet 11 inch tall i don't feel any problem. 3rd headlight problem it is sufficient light for anyone. 4th problem long ride is very comfortable. i ride 250km in one day. 5th rear view is very workable depend how you set it. I found only one disadvantage and that is pillion ride.i have doubt this guy never drive a gixxer
Thease are not that type reasons to not buy this bike... All ur 5 reasons are customizable.. i think india's one of good looking, affordable (under 100k), fuel efficient bike.. and street bike.. not sports bike.. or ture kind of bike.. Kuch v banate ho yaar... 1shaal se jyada geya hain Gixxer chalake... Tum to test ride hi kiye honge... Kuch galat kaha hain to reply karna...🙏
gixxer & gixxer sf is very comfortable bike yes head light & seat might be an issue but on other hand bike very comfortable for long ride & city ride also.

I own a gixxer sf and the main disadvantage I found is the seat comfort for pillion its worst and for rider if you ride more than 60kms then the seat feels hard so you should modify your seat by providing more cushioning. And 2nd thing is they could had given a 180cc engine for sf as it's a faired one but I am not saying that its underpowered but 180 could had made sense.
Ground clearance & gear are not that is smooth. Not a issue for tall Riders and I have done 42356 km. on it and it is capable of long touring but it miss out windshield
Seat height koi Kam nhi juht mat bol fz ki seat se compare karke dehk Mane gixxer Abhi tak 746km chalayi hai or is segment mai best hai bas gear shifting mai thodi bhohot problem ati hai baki koi bada issue nhi hai
