amusingly, i find fazzio more comfortable to bring than my prev. nmax on long distance travels ^^ probably due to its super lightweight, driver sitting position, and lower height. but yes, the front fork needs adjustment for softer rebound of which some shops offer. also, the rear suspension is a typical config for most stock suspension system of a 125c engine line of which, yes, upgradeable as well. some owners complained about yconnect which drains battery but not; its the startup-stop not being turned off, or grounded bad wiring (if they happened to let their fazzio be modified with electronic accessories).
Thanks for sharing this! It's definitely helpful input for anyone interested in the Fazzio. Especially clearing up the misconception about the Y-Connect being the cause of the battery drain, which is still often repeated.
Great content Sir 👍 subscribed! First time ko makita yung Vespa, na-inlove na agad ako LOL kaso mahal pala. May time pa naman siguro ako makapag-ipon for Vespa 😅
@@Ride_XP Agree, it's Fazzio's bigger brother. Filano is even looked more like a Vespa because the curves are "smoother" especially when compared to Fazzio's "boxier" silhouette. The price is higher than Fazzio tho, although still not as high as the Vespa, at least here in Indonesia.
@@zenitsuthunder3946 Agree, those two looked great as well, especially Kymco Like IMO. If only Kymco developed their after sales service here in Indonesia, because product-wise, they could compete with Japanese brands.
Hi guys! I used to own the Like 150i. It’s a great bike, and one of the fastest 150s. It never gave me problems, I just found it too stiff and uncomfortable.
I love this video! I just moved to Phuket, Thailand. I would love to have a Vespa but so far I can't afford it. I used to live in China and had an EV bike that looked like a Vespa or old model. Thanks for your review! What do you think of the Fazzio against the Filano or the Georgine for Honda, not sure if you have the same names and models in the Filipinas! I can't wait to be back there, too.
Most scooters cost less because they don't have the metal body either, I thought, which is why they're lighter in weight. This makes the Vespa a more solid build and safer to ride, in my opinion.
That's strange. I'm guessing the preload may have not been set correctly because the Vespa suspension, especially the front, is a much better spec than the Fazzio. If the Vespa rear shock preload is set very heavy and you are a solo rider on it it will be a very harsh ride.
i have a big bike, but this one seems best for daily dayuum, the comfort compared to the vespa can be customized and be almost the same as vespa's with lesser price
not really a fan of classics esp the vespa. i think they're just overrated. gave it a chance, had fun with it, but I sold it after owning a vespa sprint for a year. its ok but I didnt see why there is so much hype about it. but this fazzio really made me appreciate the classic design. its features, sleek lines, simplicity, and efficiency really makes sense!
That rear brake lock is an essential feature Vespas should add. I've had multiple sketchy incline stops where I wished I had it. 😅 Great video as always! 👌
Why Fazzio? Have you seen other brands like Beneli, Kymco with same classic style? i wanted fazzio via cash though but these scalpers marked up those prices upto 115-120k 🤷. That's why id rather buy other brands for that price point, not a fan of OP scalpers. Fazzio is, yeah nice but price is not.
True, that is a concern! My friend in the video was able to get his last week for SRP, so I guess it’s a matter of searching and maybe even more, luck with timing. My first bike was a Kymco Like 150i actually. Nice fast scooter but super stiff and a bit raw and vibey, and now it’s also a bit expensive. Haven’t tried the Like 125 though! As for the Benelli, totally subjective, but I see them around and they just don’t grab me. My two cents :)
I can name a few brands who copy vespa which is Bristol, kymco and Benelli. Fazzio has a unique bodykit and I can categorize it as a Modern Classic/retro Scoot and not a "vespa wanna be". Kung itabi mo sya sa isang Vespa malalaman mo kung ano yung Vespa sa Fazzio unlike scoots from other brands na mukhang Vespa. As long time owner of vespa (GTS300, Primavera), hnd biro mga nagastos ko pg dating sa upgrade and maintenance. I don't like the looks of the Vespa S125 kc mukhang sporty so I settled for fazzio instead. Fazzio freed up my money and it's so fun to ride with kc sobrang gaan at hnd hassle kht mgasgasan kc mura lng ang fairings nya. For me personally, Fazzio is good overall for modernity and easy access to parts and support. Vespa after market parts, mechanics, casas are mostly accessible in NCR. If owner ka ng vespa outside NCR lalo na sa malalayong provinces sobrang hirap ibenta yan. Sa mga baguhan jan na gusto ng pormado+praktikal go for fazzio 😁
I sold my 2022 Vespa Sprint with TFT because I didn’t enjoy due to its hefty weight and taller seat. I then found a Fazzio which is so nimble to ride due to its light weight and low seat height. It is definitely more fun to ride than a Vespa.
Good review. Last week I purchased the Primavera. Had a Liberty that is a lot like the Fazzio in that it is cheap, gets the job done, rough riding, and looks good. It also has a small fuel tank and short range. The rough riding made my throttle hand hurt after about 45 minutes. While I loved the Liberty, it just wore me down. The Primavera is fun, comfy, plenty of fuel, classy, good fit/finish, smooth, but is pricey. I do like the step through of the Fazzio like the Liberty. The flat floorboard is indeed great for carrying large items.
When I bought my scoot last March my choices were Aerox and this Fazzio but I ended up buying a Vespa Primavera 150. Did I regret it? Not a single bit. I sometimes wonder what if I have bought the Fazzio instead? That thought alone makes me want to kick myself. 😆 Both the Fazzio and the Vespa or the Primavera to be exact have different target markets. Personally, I think it’s hard to compare them. Because on one side you have the very classic, Italian premium quality motorcycle. And on the other side you got this sort of “trying hard budget meal Piaggio (Fazzio - pun intended). The side mirror alone would tell you the quality of both scoots and Vespa is known for paying attention to even the smallest details. Another thing about Vespas, the resale value. I would bet one or two years from now a 2nd hand Fazzio would be selling like half of its price. This is a no contest, Vespa is a Vespa. If your budget doesn’t permit you to buy one, then, Fazzio will be your option.

Av Moto Tuning specializes in suspension tuning, brought both my yamaha aerox and fazzio there for front fork tuning and rear shocks replacement which they also tune for free and i must they did an awesome job
Oh cool! I follow them on Facebook. I think definitely worth it upgrading the suspension on these scooters especially considering the value for money options like YSS available.
I watched a few of AV Moto videos & they seem to have a very good handle on theses scooters for suspension. But remember buying a Vespa then adding shocks front & rear adds $$$ to the cost of a expensive scooter 🛵 🤪
I'm not super familiar since I don't own one but the YSS rear shock and front fork upgrades might help :) anything to help that suspension perform better!
Hi sir , Im a student living in a fairly slopish area so there's a lot of climhing lol, i dont have that much budget so im stuck between buying a 1st generation aerox or buying a fazzio , which one can you recommend? I hope u respond hihi🎉
Very much so! Scooters are the most practical, but for skill-building a small standard is best (e.g. Keeway Cafe Racer 150, Yamaha XSR155), so it's up to you.
Yss k-euro is specifically designed for fazzio and the comfort is worlds apart from the stiffy stocks... Not the fastest scoot at 125cc but gets the job done in style 😎
I wonder if the "hybrid" is legit or just a gimmick, I haven't seen any photos or videos of it's hybrid system. One video of yamaha just shows the engine and the battery connected, they did not show any instrument or electric motor that actually helps the gas engine. Please correct me if I'm wrong and help me understand.
Sure! That's a great question. I know nothing about the actual technology and you're right, I haven't seen any demo or explainer videos. However, you certainly feel the mild hybrid push from a stop, giving it more off-the-line acceleration than a typical 125.
Based on my experience, Fazzio, but when I had my Kymco I didn’t know how to adjust suspension yet so I’m not 100% sure. But many owners replace their Like 150i shocks with PCX shocks.
Kymco Like looks like a Vespa. Yamaha's Fazzio is a retro-looking scooter but doesn't look like or trying to be a Vespa like the other brands are also doing which sir points out in this video. Vespa and Yamaha's Fazzio are both classic scoots and if you place it beside each other, you can tell at first glance which one is the Vespa and which one is the Fazzio. Great Job Yamaha and its designers of the Fazzio! Genio is also a great looking retro/classic scooter but what I dont like about it is the color blocking and the fairing on the handle bar looks like the one from the Honda Click.
This scooter will outlive any Vespa scooter hands down. Its more affordable to maintain and parts abundant. May not have the prestige of those Italian scooters but gets the job done.
Resale value of that Fazzio? Nothing compared to a Vespa. Parts of the Vespa can never be compared to this Fazzio, the side mirror alone is incomparable. 😆
The author said the suspension of vespa is better than the fazzio, I have the same model primavera 150 the suspension is to stiff & bouncy, japanese scooter is better
