I'm not a fan of Black Veil Brides but I don't think they're as bad as people make them out to be.

It makes no sense to associate or compare Black Veil Brides to a band like Blood on the Dancefloor. BVB is rock and BOTDF is electronic music. That's like comparing lady Gaga to Cannibal Corpse, no sense and doesn't prove any point at all.

I'm a big BVB fan so I could answer most of the points given, they aren't a metal band, they identify as a rock and roll band; so i guess there isnt much debate over that. As for their image, they're big fans of Kiss, and so wanted to pay homage to them. But I agree, the BVB Army is repulsive.

I like BVB, I'd call myself a fan, no BVBArmy shit because even I must admit their fanbase is terrible, but I enjoy the music. 5 reasons I don't hate BVB 1)Jake Pitts (their guitarist) is a great one, he's pulled out some great solos over the years. Even their drummer CC is pretty good, and their rhythm guitarist Jinxx plays violin, something you don't see everyday. 2)When you look into these "scene/emo" bands, it's nice to find another band who isn't the same old chuggacore shit. 3)Their songs have a good positive message to it 4)On certain songs, not all of them, Andy's voice actually goes well with the music. 5)They always change it up with their albums. First one was metalcore/post-hardcore, second was was very 80's Glam Metal influenced, third was a concept album almost like a movie, and fourth one was a straightforward Hard Rock album. If I didn't remind you, BVBArmy is still shit.

I don’t care what people say. They’re hated just to be hated. There’s a difference between not liking a band and just hating a band to hate them. Bvb is not a “bad” band. I’ve met so many people who hated on them just to hate them until they actually listened to them and found out that they actually aren’t bad

with all due respect, your points say nothing at all about the band itself. you’re basically saying bvb is bad because other bands are bad, and because the people who listen to them are bad.😂 which says absolutely nothing about the band itself??? and the rest are merely opinions about their look and sound, which i could easily counter with i find nothing wrong with them. you can of course share your opinion, but if you’re making a direct attack against a band, at least use actual facts next time.🤷‍♀️

Recently seen Andy Beirsack being a featured guest on That Metal Show and at first, I was like, "What the hell?" But, as the interview went on, he seemed like a pretty genuine dude. He moved out to LA when he was only 17 years old and lived in his car, which I could imagine as being very hard and scary, so the fact that this guy didn't come from money and actually worked to get where he is at right now, that made me look at him and the band in a better light. I can respect that. *BUT* that still doesn't make me a fan and I definitely don't consider them to be marauders or anything. And I was also unaware of his bad attitude. That will deduct some respect points there. Shit... I spoke too soon, didn't I. Anyway... great video. As always!

Yeah, maybe Im fangirling on Andrew, but I also love other band members. Every member makes the band. They sound amazing. And I also love BVBArmy, becouse if someone has a problem, others try to help them. I thinnk that we are super army and they are super band.

i am a big bvb fan i can say i do dislike a lot of the fans, i've been to a few of their shows and one coming and there are a lot of ''12 year olds'' just shouting things like 'daddy' at the band which is pretty annoying and all the stuff that is posted online by fans does seem a bit creepy. i have met and once he signed my album and i got a picture with him, he seemed nice and it was an overall positive experience for me but obviously peoples experiences and opinions differ.

There is a sick new band from Southern Cali called 'Negative Flesh' - its like (older) punky Nine Inch Nails meets Pink Floyd... kinda. Hard to describe exactly because they play a lot of different kinds of stuff, if you heard one song, you don't really know what they sound like. But its more on the heavy metal, industrial side. Check 'em out if you can! They don't have an album out yet or anything, a new demo is coming out soon... I'll post it here when it comes out...

So, I just watched your video (obviously lol) and I wanted to say something about one point you stated. The other four ones are just your opinion, so theres no necessity for me to judge those. But as a person who met Andy Biersack about four times in different occasions (I know, my avatar is him but lets ignore that, since it's not important lol), the only thing I can say, is, that he is everything but a 'douche' and 'rude'. As far as I can judge him by standing in front of him and talking to him I can say, that he literally is one of the nicest persons I ever met. He was respectful, polite and even after a 12 hour day at a movie set, still polite and talkative. When people hat questions he thought about them and answered in a serious and intelligent matter. I saw that Facebook comment, too, I have to admit, and maybe that really happened. Also it is true that Andy has a short temper, but let's not judge a person by just one negative comment about them and also as far as I remember that was a couple years ago. Andy says himself he made mistakes in his life. I do not mean to disrespect you or what you do, please don't be offended. I don't intend that. Just wanting to throw my experiences in here :)

I've been a fan of the band since 2009, I've seen them twice and still continue to love them. however your #1 is 100% true, I've never been a fan of the fan base itself. Andy actually did an interview about the whole situations with signing and all that. He brought up the point that no matter how much he go out of his way to signs stuff and talk to fans, that it's never enough and when he decides that he's done, people just insult him. Of course, that's his word against fans. Only people there know exactly what happens, but there's definitely a perspective thing.. But today, no matter what it is, especially the younger generation, 25 and under, are a bunch of people who think they're entitled to everything and throw fits when they don't get what they want. Not necessarily defending Andy here, he's done and said a lot of stupid things, but in that situation, I can see where he's coming from. I see it just in gaming. Bethesda delays fallout mods, and people start saying they'll never buy a bethesda game again. People like to over react to everything.

I respect Black Veil Brides fans, people who appreciate the music. I don't respect Andy Biersack fans. In other words, People who like the band for Andy's "hotness". I think it's because of these people that so many others are drawn away from the band. I love Jake's guitar work and it's overlooked by people who could potentially like the band because of this group of people and the other reasons stated in this video.

For some reason I get them mixed up with Escape the Fate all the time.

Some times the verses are ok, but the choruses always sound cheesy. I think the group chanting is a big part of the cheesiness. I also don't like how the rhythm guitar is deemphasized in favor the lead guitar in the choruses and sometimes in the verses as well.

For me, they're in the same boat as Peirce the Veil. Sure, most of the members are great musicians, and I respect them on that, but when you can't write decent music what good does playing well do you? Then there's the fact that they look ridiculous, have irrational fans, and Andy is full of himself. They just don't appeal to anyone who really thinks about what they're listening to. Plus, the lyrics whine too much, that's not metal at all

I honestly thought all those other emo bands and BVB were considered ROCK! not metal..........I heard 0 metal in it, but oh well. I was so shocked when they said it was (and it was around the time I was staring getting into both genres and was confused AF!). I just personally don't like them musically wise. the fans can get very cancerous, like, they're no better that beliebers and directioners. I don't have a personal reason to hate them. just from listening to a few songs, their music seems very inspirational and positive and Andy has somewhat of a nice voice. They all seem like nice people, it's odd that people consider Andy a douchebag... all I ever hear about him is of him being a nice, good guy....hmmm.... but music just isn't for me.

A7X are great the fact that any rock and metal bands get associated with BOTDF just cause of some weirdos wanting to be "emo" but really don't like the music is very sad

Most front men to bands end up being assholes. I respect Andy for the fact that he's worked his ass off. His solo stuff sounds good to to me, and probably not to others which is fine. But I greatly dislike BVB for two reasons. It's just not metal, it's regular hard rock and the debate is simply pointless. Also I've grown out my edgy stupid emo phase. It reminds me of that low point of my life. I'm more a casual listener to Andy's new stuff. I'm not really a full fan, and it's not great. I enjoy it, but it's not great. I won't ever just walk up and be like, "here listen to this." I listen to it by myself. I'd probably recommend many other musicians before I'd ever recommend Andy. That's just me though.

I strongly agree with #1. I Hate saying that I like the Black Veil Brides because of the teenybopper association, the fucking cancerous fans. If you ever actually read comments on BVB videos and song it's most talking about how attractive Andy or Ashley is. Aside from that, #5 makes a lot of sense, too.

I wish that people wouldn't put BVB under just one title, I like to say they are part of alternative as a whole, I hope people could try to see that so BVB can flow through all parts of the alternative scene.

I am a BVB fan. I agree that a lot of the fanbase is screaming 12 year old girls, but not all of it is that bad. I like it for the music, the personalities behind the music is a bonus. They have never claimed to be metal or emo, they've always said they're a rock and roll band with a modern twist. However, opinions are opinions.

I think Black Veil Brides were melodic metalcore in the early days then went on to hardcore punk influenced glam metal while still remaining their metalcore sound, then left the metalcore influence behind (for the majority of songs) on the third and fourth album, third one was more symphonic influenced than the others. So Black Veil Brides is a group of talented musicians, are they metal? yes, do I see the appeal? yes, do I understand why they get so much hate? yes, are they super heavy? they're on the lighter side of the metal spectrum occasionally going slightly harder with songs like Stolen Omen.

people dont like BVB because they state the truth in their music and sensitive people dont like that. they are totally kickass. dude Andy fell and shattered 3 ribs while the rest of the band finished the song! he wanted to go back onstage, but they wouldnt let him. hes kickass and very sweet, along with the rest of the band.

I love Black Veil Brides, a couple of my friends love that band too. My favorite song from them is In The End and guess what? That song was on the Now What's Next track of Now 45 from 3 years ago and that was my favorite Now What's Next track of Now 45 but my favorite track of Now 45 is I Cry by Flo Rida. I have all of their albums and I enjoy them. Their song, Days Are Numbered was actually an awesome song. Black Veil Brides is definitely one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time. CKN, I have nothing against this video, and I know that you're not a big fan, but did you ever enjoy a song or 2 from Black Veil Brides? In The End is my all time favorite. I'm not into all heavy metal , but some are pretty awesome. Black Veil Brides is sorta heavy metal, but I love them still. Rock On, CKN.

As someone who is open to all kinds of music, BVB is very mediocre and sounds like an emo version of Nickelback. I get that it's cliche to say that they're emo, but they really sound like generic butt rock.

I really do love BVB the fans are more of the problem than the band. They are less heavy metal and more Metalcore. Still one of the few Metalcore bands I like.

Honestly as a lifelong musician, i heard all the shit talked on BVB before I actually listened to them. Honestly to me, they were musically sound, definatly better than a lot of other crap I have heard. I dont get how people say thier not unique... but also can't define what genre they are?....
