Had mine for almost a week and I'm enjoying it! No major issues and it's a nice upgrade from my old 4A. Which I traded in to get 300 bucks off. Liking the free Pixel Buds A too. Can't really complain, I got a great deal.
Replacing my Sorta Seafoam 6 with a Sage 6a. Perfect size and heft on the 6a and the IMX363 doesn't have the edge blurring on close ups that larger sensors suffer from.
Yes I had my for week , day to day performance I can't tell the difference between the 2 phones , other than the display scrolls little faster on Google 6 , but photos I can't tell the difference , you have to look at very closely. To me it's even on both phones, the photos might be little sharper on the pixel 6 , because of camera lens, but your splinting hairs, the video is better on pixel 6 than the 6a , but for money the pixel 6 A is 🏆 winner.
No not getting a 6a because I've heard it has the same connectivity issues as the 6. I'm waiting to see what the pixel 7 brings and hanging on to my 4a.
@@greyghosst not my experience. compared side by side with 4a, 4xl and s10+ the 6a was as good or better when comparing the lte rss readings.. in a weak signal area.
@@eandm8982 that's not the experiences I've seen or the opinion of most media outlets maybe you found a rare jewel in that one or checked in a rare area. I'm just saying what the major consensus has said.
@@lakerfanjr i got the pro just for the curved scren, flat screens just look smaller and provide, less infinite screen effect also 120hz far higher than 90hz
My voice to text messages are not working properly, I dictate a message, and try to send it by saying send. Instead of sending the message, it just types out the word send. I have installed the Android 13 Beta, but it's still not working properly.
I don't know about timely updates...I didn't get august yet and it's the 4th at this point. Still a good phone but I would expect an update sooner since my s22 got it on 8/1
@@ki11atj49 in normal day to day usage, it doesn't really overheat much, except the initial days when it's using a lotta pattern learning to adapt to your usage, but while gaming, it's not possible to play anything demanding without overheating the living hell out of it.
Hopefully the next update will fix a few bugs. I'm getting app crashes with adaptive connectivity services, market feedback agent and a google legal prompt saying I'm not connected to a data service. Happens every time i restart my phone.
Downgraded from iPhone 13 pro to 6a, Yes the build quality is nowhere near as good and the lack of telephoto is a shame but overall android is so much better than iOS and the fact it came with free pixel buds A whoh cares about the headphone jack.
Great phone, shame it does come with 256GB with 8Ram, and would it save money if it had finger scanner instead of screen finger scanner. Why couldn't have the pixel have 5 years software updates and 6 years security updates like iphones, and samsung comes with 4 years update software and 5 years security updates, unlike pixels 3 years update software .
But you are free to disable chrome from the settings, does microsoft windows let you disable microsoft edge that easily? There is barely any bloatware and if you somehow find an app that you consider "bloatware" you can disable it
I hate the looks of the 6a (and the 6) with the huge camera bar. I also hate the lack of the headphone jack and the lack of rear fingerprint scanner. Also, the 6a camera is not the same camera as in the 6, wtf? The A series always used to include the same camera as the flagship model... I'll keep rocking my 3a, and wait for the 7a in hopes it looks better and has the features I like. If I get impatient or find the software updates to be of huge importance, I'd more likely switch to the 5a than to the 6a
You might care about the camera more but me as a phone user. I don't care about it and would rather have the flagship processor then having a flagship camera. Also, the camera is definitely a good camera still
Pixel 6a having unreliable finger print scanner, unregistered thumb also can unlock the phone, what a pretty security by Google, too much price in india and heating issues. Worst device ever
