I graduated from UND in 1997. I shot NDB approaches for my ils checkrides. What memories. Props to Professor Lovelace... John Hacke, Eric Scott, Dr. Zarahdka, etc. etc.
I’m a freshman here from out of state. You can expect to pay about 60k your first year, it will get cut in half or more once you get in state. Tons of aerospace scholarships available, plus a very good ROI going into aviation careers these days. I know people that have 100k+ flying jobs set up immediately after graduation.
It’s really hard. It is needed to get green card to be able to work in the us as a pilot. But there’s a system called OPT, where students can work 1 year after graduation but only in the area of industry where you were majoring and graduated from. But in STEM area (which includes aviation), OPT can be extended to 3 years. So normally people work as a CFI one year and work as a pilot 2 years. It is hard to get green card during that time and after 3 years you need to go back to your own country
Hello young captain, am an African student ready to enroll in und aviation school can I get In touch with you for assistance I’ll be appreciated Thank you
My son will be attending next fall for commercial aviation. He just got his acceptance. It is the same price for him as anyone else. He is Hispanic. Minority discounts and scholarships are not as prevalent as they were in the 90s.
