Lack of iron or vitamin D can also cause thinning hair & weak nails once I started taking iron & vitamin D3 supplements daily my hair (locs) is strong growing faster my nails are very strong also making sure I drink at least 6 cups of water everyday is also important to me
Last year I cut my locs after 7 years because of thinning at the roots. I plan on starting them again thicker. I know that stress, dryness and scratching contributed to my locs thinning.

My workout is a 3.75 and I see my doctors (obgyn, dentist, dermatologist, eye doctor) yearly or twice a year. I manage stress in many ways aside from mindful meditation.
I had to come to terms with the fact that yes, genetically from both parents there is hair loss, but as an adult I wore tight braids and puffs, plus too much stress.
Do you have any suggestions to treat psoriasis on the scalp? My oldest daughter has psoriasis on her scalp, lost an entire loc. She is otherwise healthy and I care for her locs as often and the same way I care for mine and my youngest daughter's.
I’m so sorry to hear that your daughter lost a loc due to her scalp condition. In my experience you definitely cannot care for a person’s locs with a scalp condition the way you care for the hair/scalp if the scalp is balanced. If you’re just looking for tip definitely watch the What Can I Do About Dry Scalp With My Locs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m_wmUWbK92Q.html video on my channel Also, check out the “Battling Buildup” workshop where I show and teach you how to care for the scalp- use code CULTIVATE at checkout: academy.digitalloctician.com/offers/USGC2YzX/checkout
Head and Shoulders might work. I have seborrheic dermatitis which is somewhat similar to psoriasis. I also don't put oil on my scalp since I felt like it was making the situation worse. That's the only thing has helped the itching and flaking. I only notice it itching towards the end of the week.
Hey Queen..great vid I exercise 4 times a week for 1 hour avg hair loss runs in my family..I have thin low density hair & my hair grows outside my locs☮️& blessings
Hello beautiful black sister are used to do yoga once a week but now I haven’t been doing exercise like I want to I walk a lot I don’t know if that qualifies as exercise but I do love to walk. Is it something else I can do to stop my luxe from thinning, I started getting my hair done by one young lady but then she moved and then I went to another person and it seem like when they put their hands in my hair my hair started thinning again so I don’t know what to do at this moment😮
I know it’s not. Locs been flourishing almost two years and bam. Dry itchy I’m scratching AND started a new medication that turns them yellow and changed the game
My locs are 1 year and a couple months in. I exercise 3/4 times a week. I've had 3 thinning locs at my hairline. I think it's because they were made smaller at the front. The rest are fine.
