That’s precisely why the Queen has corgi’s & bred them for many years, she just loved their spunky, hilarious personalities - it very much matched hers & Prince Phillips humour lol. x
Did you know that Queen Elizabeth has bred over 30 corgis in her lifetime and her first corgi was given to her by her father for her 18th birthday in 1944
@@joslynkneece Yes! :) She also refused to get anymore corgis after her last sadly passed, but the family wouldn’t hear of it, & bought her (i believe?) 2 more, stating they’ll be looked after when & if she passes. She was so thrilled, & enjoyed the company of her 4 legged friends right up until the last moments apparently x
Did you know Some of the dogs' names include - Geordie, Jolly, Pickles and Tinker. She also must have really liked the name Dipper as she had two dogs with that name,
Number 6... They also have a great sense of humor. I used to make my corgi do "Shake... Other Paw" multiple times before letting him have his peanut butter toy when I left for work. After one or two, he would do a puppy belly instead.
You'd be surprised at how many Corgis are in shelters or foster homes. Please consider adopting one rather than paying a breeder. A lot of people say "But I want a puppy," they are only puppies for about a year.
I rarely watch shorts multiple times in a row but I watched this one to see his face looking at the cake and for the reversed butt fluffing. My favorite moments. Also, I imagined him giving both paws *at once* and falling on the fluffy butt. 😍
My Corgi was adorable and she knew. On our walks, we’d use the crosswalk to get to the park. I press the light and we’d wait for the cars to line up and wait. As we started our walk she’d exaggerate her wiggle and bounce more and look at the people in the cars. She knew they were all saying how cute she is. Even yelling out their windows. Her name was Chantilly Lace (cuz she had a wiggle in her walk)!!! Lacey for short.
