Yes I mean like the inception. 😭 I tried to modify the dji mobile 2, but it still couldn't match what I was thinking. I should reprogram the chip. But I can't. 🤣🤣🤣

There are so many problematic issues from the comments below, from iPhone 7 phones not working with it and locks not working. Maybe it’s time someone did a channel on just fixing these issues.

At first, I saw 17 minutes and was like "No way I'm watching all that." But then 17 minutes later, here I am. Nice review! Hey there. I’ve been in the market for a gimbal for the last week to film my classes at our dance studio. I was debating between the smooth 4, pivo pod, and this dji osmo 3. This video sold me on the dji osmo and I just bought one today. The built in tripod and active tracking 3.0 is exactly what I need. We may not subscribe to your channel or follow you but after watching a few of your videos to get educated, we just wanted to let you know that you do great work and hope that these companies compensate you well for what you do.

Excellent review and you have reinforced my decision to return the Hohem gimbal the same day I received it and order the DJI OSMO 3. I have also "Subscribed" to your channel because I found your incites and delivery to be very helpful for a "beginner" to this very fun, for me, hobby! At age 73 I don't have a lot of time to waste on a looooong learning curve. And why would I want to when I have folks like you out there sharing their knowledge and hard learned experiences!? My Osmo Mobile 3 arrived today, got the combo pack for £85 on Ebay. upgraded as my FV gimbal had motor damage. Had to come to your channel to get some insight. Looking forward to using it in Barcelona.

Great vid I bought the DJI mobile osmo 3 a year and a half ago, put it in storage for a year and now it's starting to use it all over again, it will be used on my RU-vid channel exclusively. I wish I had purchased the travel case and tripod feature though, but great device for problem-free simple video recording.

Got this in yesterday and totally agree with you about all the plus. Esp the tripod. I have seen someone selling the stand which is just like a plastic square thing for 7 - 14 Euro (I live in Germany), now thinking about what's going to happen if there's windy... that little square thing won't hold it for sure. I'm glad I got the combo set.

Hi, just came across your video. Nice video, I really appreciate the fact that you review it from both iPhone and android phone perspective(a lot of review online is done with iPhone only). I have some questions here, what function one can use while using other app (other than DJI Mimo app). In particular, will I be able to change the orientation between portrait and landscape with the button, and will I be able to move the phone (changing the direction my phone camera is pointing to) with the joystick.

Excellent video, insightful as always. I have an iPhone XS Max and will be purchasing the moment anamorphic shortly. So to run that set up would you recommend Moza Mini Mi or DJI Osmo 3? The compact form of the osmo appeals to me but making sure I have the best performing setup is crucial.

Just did. Got my hands on it yesterday and is great. It is so portable now. Have a sling shot bag and now I can fit the gimbal easily plus tripod, mobile lens and wallet, phone etc. The great thing of foldable design is that now it stays fixed. Before I had to use elastic band to stop the arm to move around. the gesture mode is great but love how now you can with two 3 taps change from rear camera to front or with two taps on front button from portrait to landscape. And how now you can really charge your phone while using because the arm doesn't block the usb slot. I bought a Osmo mobile 2 3 months ago but so worth the money on new version. My advice do like me sell it on ebay and buy new one.

Hey EMT, great review. I do have a question though regarding the App and was wondering if you could shed some light onto my question. The App seems to only film at 4k 30fps as the highest resolution and fps for android therefore when slowing it down in after production it's not as good as when filming with the native app that films 4k 60fps. The problem I have when using the native app is that the follow function for the gimble then doesn't work. So this makes the 3 awesome film techniques that in a way require follow very challenging. Lastly Auto zoom when filming with the rear camera and follow on would be great when trying to film sports where the subject moves towards and away from you. Have I missed the auto zoom function?

EMT I have to say that video of yours was an absolute pleasure to watch man, well well done !! I like how you explained everything, the side by side comparisons for the motion clips. And your use of examples, brilliant work. Thank you so much for your review and critique of this device. I bought my Osmo Mobile 3 Combo about a month and a half and my only regret is that I haven't been able to start experimenting with it yet. . . . you know. . . lockdown *ugh* Just about a month ago, I also bought myself the 11ProMax 256g. I did kind of plan that sooooo :P I believe my other piece of kit I'd like to do is a DJI Mavic Air 2, ORRRRR the Mavic 2 Pro. . . not sure yet. I've always been interested in photography and I have a pretty good eye. I just want to take my creativity in shooting vids and stills to next level quality. That and because I've wanted one for a long time. I have been toying with the idea of doing vlogging, so we'll see. Once again, bro. . . THOROUGHLY appreciate your efforts and passing on your views and knowledge for the Osmo 3 Mobile. I already knew I made the right choice, you just NAILED it for me man. Peace !

I am looking at this gimbal and the Snoppa Atom 3 and I was wondering which is a better buy. My biggest question is about the 3 click to switch between cameras on the DJI. Does the 3 click just switch between the camera for pictures or can you do it while filming and keep filming with the other camera? I know the Snoppa has a button to spin the phone around, but does it have a similar option to switch between the cameras like the DJI?

Big Question! I'm a left handed person and was wondering if they have some way of reversing the arm travel so I can shoot with the left hand? I can shoot right but my left arm is my strong arm.
