The iPhone 13 mini is an underrated phone. Sadly after two years of mini iPhones, they no longer exist. While you can still buy the iPhone 13 mini at the Apple Store, I have hopes that the mini iPhone can come back sometime in the future. I switched from the 2nd Generation iPhone SE, so this was a great upgrade. Though I already did a review on this channel, I thought it'd be good to do another video on the 5 reasons why I, and many others, love the iPhone 13 mini.

I watched many reviews and unboxings of this phone this past few weeks and now I'm planning to buy it..I just love the small phone also I'm tired of using big phones

The regular 13 or even the 12 is not a “big” phone though. The Max ones are only ones considered big. If mini battery was as good as regular I’d still choose regular over mini. Marketing strategy is why they made mini $100 less to make the purchase more intriguing imo

@@atlanticatmosphere6695 Bruh my iPhone 13 mini lasts me for 2 days most of the time. A heavy use will get me 7-8 hours of screen time. Surely you have access to your charger much more often than that. If you feel those hours are not enough then you might have a phone addiction.

The best iPhone in my opinion. I think people worry too much about battery life nowadays when there are so many places to charge your phone - at work, school, home, cafeterias, malls or wherever.

I got myself an iPhone 13 Mini for Christmas and it’s the best. I had an iPhone 5s as my first phone and this brings back the good old days of having a nice one handed phone. I had a iPhone 6 7 and 11 since my 5s stopped working well and I didn’t like how big those phones were even though their battery is better. I prefer a comfortable phone and I’m trying to reduce my screen usage

I definitely agree! A comfortable one handed experience is better over longer battery life. I usually have a charger within reach, either a car charger, portable battery pack, etc.

I’m rocking a iPhone 13 mini. I love the pictures it produces. Family pictures look great! The form factor is absolutely great! I’m a big fan of the mini products apple make. We have iPad mini and a Mac mini. Al products with a small footprint but powerful enough for users. I’m in IT my self and I see people buying pro shizzle just for the label “pro”. Trust me, the lower apple stuff is just as powerful for the average workflow. Another plus for the mini iPhone is that it makes me connect to the real world more often. Don’t want to live my life online to often and this phone helps with that also. And don’t forget dat it’s a great bang for your buck! You can probably tell, but I’m a huge iPhone 13 mini fan! 😅

Love the video! The 13 mini has been my phone since release and I adore it. Btw, to make your phone get darker you can set the accessibility shortcut (triple click of the power button) to reduce white point. It’s not perfect since it affects primarily the white pixels, but it’s amazing for using the phone in dark environments.

I wished Apple would've release a new mini. I think if they do it every 2 to 3 years, it would truly sell. I have the 12 mini but the battery 🔋 is bad.

There is a setting to dim the display at night! Just go to accessibility and find the setting to “Reduce White Point.” Then you can add an accessibility shortcut to your control panel to toggle this feature on and off whenever you need to. It’s an absolute game changer for me!

I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.

Last year, I went from the iPhone 7 to the XS, while my kids went from the X to the 13 Pro. I'm really not a fan of the weight of their phone. I'll probably stay with XS until Apple stops giving it the latest iOS, at which point I'm seriously considering swapping to a 13 Mini. It'll most likely be 2nd hand, but I really can't see Apple reintroducing a Mini - unless the next SE uses the discontinued size. Thanks for the vid!

For me I’d get the mini, the phones are almost identical in specs and capabilities with the biggest difference being the size and battery life because it’s a smaller phone with a smaller battery life. That being said, the ease of fitting in my pocket and hand is a big plus for me. But honestly, can’t go wrong with other phone!

I feel even more lucky by having the iPhone 12 mini… that actually came for first in better price and it has practically the same features. All I’m worried about is the battery life, but is ok.

Had the 12 mini battery after 11 months battery life was saying on 89% life and 13 mini when traded for 14 it said 91% and 14 is still at 100% after 6 months.

Whoa! Sorry to hear your experience on that. Even Apple has some defective phones that can sneak through the assembly line. I’ve had my 13 mini for longer and I’m still at 100%

Same here with iPhone 12 mini. 85% after year and a half and is getting hot sometimes. Probably need to buy 13 mini while they are sold

Update: I bought a used iPhone 13 Mini, sold my wife’s 11 Pro Max and gave her my 13 Pro Max. I have to remember that the battery won’t be as good as the Pro Max and monitor my phone usage more carefully but overall, I have been loving the experience. Now anything other than the Mini is simply too bulky. Thanks again for the recommendation!

By the way, if you go into accessibility options under display and you’ll see reduce brightness at the bottom of that right above, I believe, adjust brightness or auto brightness, but there is a reduced brightness section there to make it not so bright in the evening time or anytime you’re welcome Lolotherwise I love my 13 mini well, I was debating myself to go to a full-size 13 recently for the screen size and additional battery life but as always, it’s subjective😊

I still wonder if Apple plans a next-generation iPhone SE based on a slightly de-contented iPhone 13 mini (Touch ID on a larger power button, single camera sensor in the back). Of course, my proposed iPhone SE will have a USB Type C port, though.

I'm an Android user who bought 13 mini just because of its compact size. It's not for everyone that's for sure because of its battery life.

I agree it’s not for everyone. A smaller phone with a smaller battery isn’t going to be the best situation for anyone that either uses their phones heavily or does power hungry tasks. For myself I’m on for about 5-6 hours a day doing fairly light tasks (texting, discord chats, phone calls, and RU-vid videos is probably the hungriest of all my tasks). Heavier tasks are done on my iPad. If I did a lot more with gaming, heavy multitasking, etc. I wouldn’t have gotten this phone with it’s small battery. It all depends on knowing what you need and buying the right thing. It’s like buying a Kia and being upset it can’t keep up with a Ferrari. That being said this doesn’t have the BEST small phone battery life out there but it is fairly well optimized with apple’s OS.

@@ardentlytech agree with all except for too optimistic words about iOS. I get ca. 3,5 - 4 hours of SOT with LTE consistently on the daily. I tend to think now if I really need to pull it out of my pocket. If it sits idle in the pocket it's ok.

Currently on an IPhone 12 Pro Max and I’ve had it since it’s release. I’m wanting to switch because I’m kinda tired of having a “brick”. Currently wanting the 13 mini but don’t know if I’ll enjoy it

I hear you! It would definitely be a big adjustment from a Pro max to a mini! If you rely on that better camera system and enjoy the big screen then the mini might not be the best experience. But nothing beats having a relatively powerful and capable phone that easily fits in one hand! Pros and cons to both for sure.

Glad I could help! Thanks for the video idea I’d love to get that out soon! There’s very few differences between the two, same processor, same camera, same features, the biggest differences are the physical size (obviously) and the battery life is shorter on the mini because of the smaller battery

Yeah I misspoke in the video, I meant to just acknowledge that it’s not amoled or has the highest ppi, 120hz, etc. but it’s still an awesome screen for the most part.

@@ardentlytech 13 mini technically 1080p and 13,12 regular models at 1170. It’s not that noticeable it’s just whether person prefers bigger screen or smaller phone
