wav files are a pain in the ass to download/preview, + they heavy af. sending as mp3 is way easier and lighter. if you end up getting a placement or something the prod/artist will just ask you for the stems or the wav
ngl im skipping mp3 loops i'd much rather receive wav loops and if you label the key make sure it's correct or just only put the bpm on there, and make sure the bpm is correct too (ive received so many with incorrect labelling on both) and it's not the end of the world but it's annoying to try n figure out the bpm type shit. and use dropbox fr that shit wayy too nice.
dont bro ur gonna miss out on placements i just found out today ppl dont wanna download really big loop files i used to send wav also theres not that much of a difference
Can you try making a beat using Shinsuke Nakamora's first Theme song Rising sun. That would really be dope fam❤️. Thanks for all the great advice always.
A quality studio can hear the difference between a low quality mp3 and a wav file. I would advise against sending an mp3. Maybe you should explain the different qualities of an mp3 vs a wav file.
nobody uses WAV files no more. WAV is just pain for ppl to download, having the preview option on Dropbox so mp3 def better. if u land a placement then they'll prolly ask the WAV stems but mostly they just drop songs from straight mp3s nowadays
