@@Terminal_Apotos I have 128 gigs on my phone, and even on that device, less than 30 gigs is for apps (including a lot of ones I don't use) I imagine that I'll only need a handful of productivity apps and heavy apps on my iPad
In my country the price difference between base model M1s is like 750 KM which is around 400 dollars. The iPad Air 5 is a steal compared to other ones.
@@pranavflameare you using an Apple device(phone)? I don't think so 64gigs with 60hz for procreate and other productivity apps is a good deal.. Even cloud storage works on subscription model, you will be spending more with that. And if you actually decide to buy an external device you can't really store everything there. The basic system apps (OS)initially take away a lot of space and in case you download something you are gonna run out of space extremely fast. Rather than stressing about all these issues and carrying an external device all the time, it's better to buy the base variant with 120hz display and 128gigs rom. A better display and sound quality as well.
bro i am confused between air 5 and ipad pro just because of storage as air has 64 base and pro has 128 also its better but i am unable to justify the price difference what should i do ... and do you feel less storage in your air 5??
And 5 reasons to not buy this Ipad: - number 1: it is very expansive :'( - number 2: it has only a very small amount of data (64go for the first version) - number 3: the pencil has to be charged to be used and can't be used when it is charging - number 4: it doesn't have any sd slot - number 5: the new Ipad air will maybe be released tomorrow (but I still think about having it x))
1. Subjective, but yes it is expensive 2. Who doesn't have iCloud? Nobody is using the iPad as their main device you don't need every app on your phone on it 3. It attaches to the iPad so it's unlikely you have it with you and somehow not charged 4. Micro SD's have not been included in most tech products for a long while 5. It didn't. But we will see another one soon
Seems like iPads are not going to get upgrades this year … but again, it’s just based off speculation! If you are not in a rush to buy one, it’s better to wait for few months.
The battery life on every iPad is the same amazing all day battery .. I have recently done a video where I test how many hours you can get on the iPad doing various tasks .. please check that 😊
That’s the ESR Rebound Pencil Case. I have made a whole review video featuring those on my channel, please check. Here’s the link to the product: www.esrgear.com/products/ipad-air-2020-4th-gen-rebound-pencil-case/
I wanma buy this as i already hav an ipad pro 12.9 m1 but too big for on the go media consumption. Am afraid ipad air m2 is gonna b released this year so am gonna wait till the end of the year but ipad 5 isnt bad tho ❤
The iPad 10 is still an amazing iPad .. it’s just that the iPad Air at the moment, with Black Friday prices is only about 80£ more here in the UK! So, because the price difference isn’t that much, the iPad Air is a better iPad considering that! Actually, due to the Black Friday deals, I just bought my daughter the iPad Air for her school work!
@@NicholasGallegos-u5l Wow.. that’s a big switch .. but the Mini is amazing as well .. if I was not soo hung up on the 11 inch display, I would have got the Mini in a heartbeat 😊😊
@@NicholasGallegos-u5l Absolutely… for gaming and even for writing or taking notes with the Apple Pencil, the Mini 6 is the best iPad … I have posted some extensive videos on the Mini 6 on my channel … plz do check if you’re interested 😊😊
Yes, if you check the history of iPad software updates, the iPads with more RAM not only got longer years of software support .. but they also got all the resource intensive feature support as well.
Thanks for the video! I am confused to go with either ipad air or ipad pro. My sole purpose is for Gaming! Display is 60hz and this is stopping me to go for ipad air. What do you think is display refresh rate deal breaker?
Well, if you want to play online competitive gaming then yes, 120hz refresh rate will certainly be advantageous..! I have done detailed videos on all current iPads on my channel .. and I have shown gaming on all of them. Do check and see if it helps 😊
Hmm.. it kind of makes less sense on an iPad which has a bigger screen and iPadOS makes things smooth as is! I have both iPads, the Air and Pro and honestly, 120hz doesn’t feel as important as it does on an iPhone!
@@Tesurabs True, I’d you are into competitive gaming using the iPad! I tried COD mobile using 120hz and it sure feels smoother and the response rate is much quicker!
Well.. on a big screen device .. don’t think 120hz makes that much of sense unless you are a gamer or an artist! I have both the Pro and the Air and I use my iPad for video editing and honestly.. it’s hard to tell the difference unless you compare them side by side!
@@RaavMedia If you think that 120hz is only suitable for professional people, you are wrong. Many mobile phones on the market now support 120hz refresh rate. If you are used to 120hz, then use 60hz to play games and browse content. will be very stuck
@@debtla not on an iPad .. the OS is already soo well optimised that everything does feel relatively smooth .. and when it comes to browsing .. the only time I feel the difference is when I scroll faster! I feel on mobile phone screen this difference is slightly more noticeable as on smaller screen you tend to scroll more!
Hi bro i am quite confused i m new on ipad and i want to buy mid range ipad so i deiced to buy air 5th gen 64 gb so my used will be starting procreate and may video editing also in future so do i need to go with this o need to increase storage but also i dont to spend much 😅
My parents bought me this iPad for my bday, and now am using it in the uni as a notebook and reader. Only bad thing is that apple doesn't have official tech support in Peru
Will the 64gb version of this suffice for my uni years? I'm planning to take notes, watch movies/series, and maybe some light games on it. I've been contemplating on whether or not to get the air 5 with 64gb or 10th gen with 256gb for a while now, but I still haven't decided. Although, keep in mind, I have an external storage that has 1TB capacity.
The iPad Air 5 is pretty decent option .. you can also choose the iPad 10th generation but make sure you are getting a decent price for that .. as here in the UK .. the cost difference is not that much.. so iPad Air 5 seems better value in comparison!
5 reasons to get the iPad Air 4th Gen instead - Way less expensive -M1 chip is virtually useless the a14 is good enough -Same size -Does everything the air 5th Gen can do -Is Better overall
All that’s true .. however M1 chip with 8GB RAM in the Air 5 .. will last you longer .. and now that the Air 5 has been out for quite some time .. you will find discounts on it!
I think Air is just a tactic for people to buy the pro. There’s no point for it otherwise. It’s like an annoyingly worse version of the pro, while the ipad 10th gen can still do most of the things that the air does for a cheaper price.
I kind of beg to differ ..the Air is that perfect mid range and the only substantial thing it misses compared to Pro is promotion display and that extra storage. But you do get that excellent M1 Chip paired with 8GB RAM .. which in iPadOS world equates to years of extended software support! The issue which I have with iPad 10 is that it only gets the A14 Bionic chip with just 4GB RAM! And in some markets like the UK, it’s priced very close to iPad Air! So really, the extra RAM and processor alone make the iPad Air super worthy in comparison 😊
This years iPad updates are seeming very unlikely. However, I can’t say for sure .. if you are in not any rush .. then maybe wait for 2-3 months and see if Apple announces anything new by Sept-Oct time .. or if you are finding an amazing deal on the Air 5, then by all means .. go for it!
@@RaavMediai heard people complaining about "aluminum being so thin and flimsy just a firm grip causes the panel to flex and the parts inside to wobble like a seesaw! It feels so awful and makes me seriously doubt how long it will last for. To make it all worse, whatever part that is moving can get pushed up into the back of the display and cause that telltale color distortion from pressing on a LCD panel." (Just copy pasted it ) I want my ipad to last for 6-7 years atleast and when i earn I can buy another one... I really need this for my studies but I can't burden my mom again with this.. so comments like these are making me worry about the ipad air's durability...idk please guide me..
@@Medskool_insider Wow!! That’s really awful and probably the first time I’m hearing an iPad having issues in my entire decade of using iPads!! Apple products have very sold reliability and yes, the iPads are pretty thin and will bend if you apply too much pressure .. but same with every other thin tech product! It was the first time ever that I heard a bit of creaking sound on the iPad Air 5 back frame if you put a bit of pressure … but Apple happily replaced it with a new one when I pointed that out! So, really, you will have no issues at all, even if the iPad has got any issues, you will be covered by Apple, at least for the first year!
@@Medskool_insiderdid you buy one of those bcz I'm also planning to get this on Flipkart bbd can you plz share your product review and that annoying backside cracking issue
It really depends on your usage .. whether you want a full blown computer or a touch screen device with its limitations! If you are deciding between a MacBook and an iPad, I made videos on my channel about this.. please check and see if it helps 😊
Don’t think Apple will ever bring that to the iPad Air lineup .. maybe the base storage will get bumped up to 128GB in the next model, that too if we are lucky 😄
At this point, you should at least get 5 years of software support and maybe a few years of further security updates. Now, a TV and an iPad are two entirely different class of devices, so I cannot compare those two, but it really depends on what your usage is.
Absolutely.. that M1 chip with 8GB RAM is very decent.. however if you think you will benefit with faster refresh rate.. then you need to go for the iPad Pro
Hi very nice video So I'm starting college soon and I'm thinking of getting this ipad although i want to use it for note taking in class and to use it for my art too as an artist so do u recommended it for both art and note taking? I'd for the 11 inch pro but it's out of my budget tbh
Pro definitely has that slight edge as it has faster refresh rate for your Apple Pencil but if you can’t stretch your budget then the Air is very good as well. Apple Pencil is very responsive and my designer friends simply love this!
I have an iPad Air 5 blue colour and it's pretty good device compatible- 64 GB and there is still 256gb but I only use it for gaming and watch movies videos so it doesn't take up much of the GBA after but I only used for gaming and watch in RU-vid videos so it doesn't take up much of the GB after but I only used for gaming and watch in RU-vid videos so it doesn't take up much of the GBA after I have been using it for one year and there's no issue and still runs perfectly smooth so it's a great Apple product buy
Hello raav media it cost on apple @59000 but as student i pay @ 54000 only and get free apple pencil of 11000 free of cost and waiting for courier please reply it worth it 😂❤❤😅
Well compared to UK price, it is certainly worth it as in UK, directly from Apple, the iPad Air costs about INR 67,000 ... plus you are getting the Apple Pencil free as well, which is really a good deal!
Promotion is cool but unless you are a gamer or an artist .. I don’t see that huge benefit. I have both the Air and the Pro and seriously, even though I create content on them, I really don’t see the huge benefit of having higher refresh rate .. however I do admit that it’s cool to have 120hz on a tablet in 2023!
The very initial batch had some issues .. this blue one which I show in my videos would click and make sound at the back .. but the later stock didn’t have any issues .. we bought another one just few weeks ago and no issues on that at all!
Hey, thanks for the great vid! I was wondering whether or not the iPad Pro (2022) would be a slightly better high-budget alternative to this. What are your thoughts?
Yes, it certainly is better compared to the iPad Air 5 .. as you get more storage, promotion display amongst other things .. I have used both these tablets .. so I am working on a comparison video .. will try to upload it by next week 😊
It’s same as other iPads .. you get all day battery life for consuming media, which is like 8 to 10 hours .. if you are going to use pro apps and 4K video editing, it consumes bit more battery!
Ipad pro 2021 11 inches really good too, about the same price as ipad air 5th.i bought a renewed one(256gb), same price or even cheaper than new AIR 5th
Yes, it did … it was coming at the back middle when you press gently! It really was the first iPad ever to do that out of all the iPads that I’ve owned.. but not to worry, if yours does the same, you can take it to Apple and get it exchanged!
@@RaavMedia Well, just got my iPad and it's perfect! I felt absolutely no flex or give or hear any creaking, I guess that was a problem in the older 2022 manufactured devices.
@@RaavMedia Yeah I am, this is my very first Apple purchase, and the heftiest amount I have ever spent on a device xD I just wish Apple gave Pencil 2 on all iPads larger than the mini instead of shelling out some more cash for it.
@@syedshakaibanwar2698 ya, it would be nice but nope.. you will never get free first from Apple like that .. the best Apple did for me was to price match and offer 20% off on accessories when I bought expensive iPads Pros from them!

@@PatiencePersevarance the air 5 performance is amazing I’m typing on it and the M1 chip is reall fast and if your takin notes 64 gigs is good but for more intense stuff i recommend the 256 gigs
@@_Yukkii_ Sorry, just got around to checking my comments .. I was one of those who got stranded at Dubai due to the floods!! Belated Birthday wishes … so yes, Apple is going to hold an event on the 7th May and we will be getting new iPads then 😊
Nope, it’s not. First, the iPad 10 only has the A14 Bionic Chip and then, it’s doesn’t support Apple Pencil 2. It also misses out of laminated display and additional RAM. I have made video reviews on both these iPads on my channel, please check and see if it helps 😊
Buy the ipad pro 11 2021 because its costs only 53000 rupees and the air costs more than that and it also has more gb than the air, the ipad is on reliance digital. It also has the same m1 chip.
If you are happy going for refurbished stuff, then yes, the M1 iPad Pro is better in comparison. But if you like that brand new wrapper peel, then this really is the one to go for! 😊
Well, if you can stretch your budget, then the iPad Air is a better tablet as it will certainly last longer due to the M1 chip and 8GB RAM, plus you get other benefits like Apple Pencil 2 & fully laminated screen
Not a bad idea but with the M1 chip .. you already get a few extras like full screen external monitor support and some Pro app support .. plus the M1 chip will sure last longer than A14 Bionic and the Air has 8GB RAM instead of 6 .. so considering all this, I’d still recommend the Air 5 😊
@@Neonwormies Well, those are the current gen iPads which Apple officially sells. The price difference between both the iPad Air and Pro is 200$ .. for the extra cash you get M2 Processor which is slightly better, double storage, promotion and additional cameras along with FaceID .. if you feel these features are worth the extra 200$ .. then yes, go for the Pro
