If you haven't ran a one shot RPG or you just want some arguments to sell your players on it, this video gives reasons, and systems to run great one shot games on your own!
Great video, I hadn't heard of quest, I'm going to check that one out. I love running one shots, since there's always something different I want to try. Another fun one for one shots is FATE, especially fate accelerated.
Thanks for making this video. You gave some excellent suggestions. I especially liked your idea of making props to help create a deeper sense of immersion.
Welcome. RPG’s at their best can be a fictional production akin to a tv series or movie, but played out with rules and made for much less than $100 million. 😉
Thank you for this. We love one shots--just shot a Christmas one we have not yet posted. Appreciate someone else who loves them too. I liked and subscribed.
My go-to for impromptu one shots is Beyond the Wall and Other Adventures; an OSR adjacent game that uses PBTA inspired playbooks to generate random characters at the table.
@@Parker8752 Hopefully they decide it is worth a POD run, I have an aversion to PDF only products (its a personal preference). Thanks for the suggestions!
