See! Just another example of same zone but completely different growing abilities. For me I like eating my blueberries fresh or frozen then put in baked goods. But I did make a Blueberry BBQ sauce one year and it knocked my socks off. That got relegated to the leftovers and I needed to find a use for them

@@PalmettoPrepared I have seen them as far north as Lac La Loche, Sask. which is about 3 to 31/2 hours north of where I live. I am to understand that they also grow in the forest area of NWT (I don't recall seeing them when I lived there but that was 50+ years ago) also into the YT and Alaska forest. I think it is the hotter temperatures that is the problem for them. The kind they have growing in BC (wild ones) are grape like in size.
