If you already have a degree, you just want to grow, I would suggest you do a data science certificate from ( Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, DATA Explorer) this will give you a practical base experience that is specific to what you want( data science) while giving you only the information you need about programming languages and statistics

With computer science you can also do data science but if you did data science on it own I feel like you have already chosen a area of study under computer science but it also have a lot of opportunities as you may know the world we are in is a data driven work thus making data science very useful
