Used to live in Tamarac. 1978-1980. I went to Ramblewood middle. My bro went to Tamarac elementary. There were a lot of elderly that didn't allow any new schools to be built. Couldn't go to the nice Coral Springs Highschool near by. Had to be bused 30 minutes away into city highschool. They actually had to split the classes at Ramblewood because of overcrowding. 7th n 8th graders went 730 to 1 and 6th went afternoon to 4 pm. Can u imagine being a working parents with all your three boys in middle school at different times? They built an over pass walk way for the kids going to tamarac but the elderly in control fought against it they actually made the ramp face the other direction from the school to completx on the other side. Lots of fights. At bus stops and every day at ramblewood. Cant imagine what insanity exists around ft Lauderdale now days. No thanks.

We are seeing price reductions, however in most cases it appears to be more of rationalization or normalization of prices to where they should be, we saw a lot of "profit taking" when inventory especially Single-Family Homes, was very low and many purchases fell through because the properties didn't appraise for the prices that were asked or offered. For Condos we are seeing price reductions due to extended time on market and comps with other properties that have more or more recent updates and upgrades.
