What are some other reasons someone might not like living in San Diego due to missing out on some things you can enjoy in other states?

Not being able to do even tourist things, not being able to go out to eat or drink, snd not being able to afford to take road trips out of town. If you aren't making a really good living, you'll realize that the weather is really all there is. Utility costs used to be lower than the 4 seasons state I moved from, because of the mild and predictable weather, but SDGE & the City Treasurer (water company) made sure to make up for that. I swear, every month there is a price increase insert in with the bill.

You are mistaken. I love living in San Diego and honestly the reasons you stated that people would hate SD are quite trivial. Who would hate beer??? Even if a person doesn't drink beer, I doubt they would hate it to the point of avoiding such a beautiful paradise. Weather is almost perfect in San Diego. I lived in Philadelphia for many years and I got sick of the snow and cold weather. San Diego does have fall foliage, and beautiful snow in Julian and other areas during winter. Some people don't realize that San Diego is not only a city, it's a big county with mountains, valleys, deserts, beaches, and everyone can enjoy what inland states offer during the changes of seasons.

Obviously you are very well-off. Most of us are not, and can never "afford" to go out at all. Just the cost of living makes that impossible (if you are a responsible person who pays your bills).😊

Another one is traffic! There's a lot of traffic but it's incredibly predictable. Going north in the morning and south in the evening. So if you just live further north and drive south for work there's basically no issue 😂 #SDTrafficHacks

Yeah I wish I knew that before moving here. Our first place was in Chula Vista. It was an hour or more going to and then coming from work every day. Our next place was in North Park lol I needed something north of the Coronado bridge because of traffic
