Seems like Joe expected Sophie to be adjusting her life while he didn't want to sacrifice his life and career a bit.

When she was suffering from mental health problems (from shooting GoT), any decent guy who helped her would have felt like "the one". She definitely rushed saying "i do".

At first, I was under the impression that she doesn’t want the family lifestyle, however, the more I watched/saw, I think the problem stem from Joe as well. The amount of partners he had, geez. Pretty sure Sophie doesn’t have that many. And for most of their marriage life, they were in the state. If you want to be fair, 50-50. But nope, doesn’t seem like she got that choice. When a woman takes care of their kids, it’s a given, a must. When a man does it, it’s omg, the mom is terrible. Also, idk about you, but the last 4 years, it seems the Jonas brothers are back on the map, so of course, he gets to do whatever, and she has to stay back. Ppl keeps pointing fingers at her, but why couldn’t Joe live a whole solid year in the UK? Because he won’t do it for his wife >_> we don’t know the full story, quickly pick a side is just not great. And yes, being a mom without family and friends to support you is hard on your mental health. His family is not hers, they can take his side and she would feel trapped.

It's sad that she just had another baby and he divorces her, i hope she's doing okay.

I'm not trying to sound like a scornful wise-ass here, but they did get married so young (especially her) and had their two children pretty fast! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Sophie Turner basically spent all her teenage years working day and night on Game of Thrones and initially moved on to life as a wife and mother. There was no college life, no gap year, no shared flat parties, no time when she was sowing her oats and just figuring out who she is as an adult, a woman, a smart, emotionally healthy individual... Celebrity or not, it's always those girls and boys who feel the natural urge to fledge at a later point in life (usually at a point when children are involved in the suffering). This sure is sad, but doesn't look entirely surprising.

These celebraties really don't think twice before rushing into marriage and then having 2 babies one after another when just in your twenties that too in a situation where you are already having pre-marrainge mental health crisis. Such relationships are doomed to fail and not to be taken seriously.

I don’t know them personally so who knows but from what I notice is growing pattern nowadays especially amongst young people and celebrities is then not really understanding how much work it takes and how much effort it takes to make a marriage work. It’s not just about love. It’s about commitment, sacrifice, willingness to compromise, willingness to grow with your partner, and more. People give up on marriage too easily or too quickly or not willing to put in the work because it’s too hard. Of course when it comes to domestic abuse and affairs I can understand. But if you and your partner don’t have shared values than your marriage is already on rocky ground so compromise will be necessary. You have to put in the work to make a marriage work especially if you have kids together. Be the best you can be for the kids.

She is too tall for him. Also she was too young to be married especially while at the height of her career.

Age isn’t a problem the problem is to have children right away because a couple need to enjoy themselves a couple of years first unless your eggs are ending why rush nature.

I can only speak for myself, but I can tell you one thing, I never separated from my young babies for more than several days. And that was rare. Neither did my husband. And I was 25 with my first child and 31 with my second.

a relationship needs to listen, if she wanna job, and made something with his life , and he don't leave to change his rol, and she start a divorce process, every will be applaud her because it's an "empowered woman", so why he cannot do the same? the gender hipocresy and the "matriarchy"

A lot of outlets like to point out that Joe was a player in his youth. When he's new in the fame scene, he seemed to be going through the journey of dating and not wanting to be serious. For Pete's sake, he was between the age of 19 and his 20's! They expect him to not want experiences?! So women scold him for leaving when they do the same thing. He probably used an excuse to spare them, but they took it as a slight. I had guy friends like that. They jumped from one relationship to the next. They didn't understand monogamy/fidelity. People's priorities change as they age. He was ready to begin a family and have a wife. It could also be that Sophie didn't share his values of the nuclear family, as she blames it for future missed opportunities. If the woman you date doesn't want to give up partying or her career, it's understandable to have regrets about trying to change their minds and it probably is best to split. He probably couldn't change Sophie's mind and that resentment built up. There is such a wave of people believing that women can't be narcissistic in an environment that allows it. Overall, it's a sad situation for the children.

The fact that he was the sole caretaker while she’s filming in the UK and he’s on tour, taking them with him is either 1 or 2 things. 1 - he’s got sole custody and wanted to take care of them, purposely excluding her. 2 - she thought her career was more important than the kids and abandoned them. First red flag for me is that she's like 5 inches taller than him. And honestly what kind of man leaves a woman while she's still pregnant with his child. We don't know these people but that alone makes him look horrible.
