My favorite thing to do when I'm in a crap hole and I have to push through school is make instant lemonade but add too much powder, diy energy drink to wake u up during math class :))
Unfortunately, the sugar in honey is just as bad as any other kind. Glucose, fructose, dextrose, etc. they all cause a spike in blood sugar as well as insulin levels. Sadly there is no such thing as good sugar. Fruit also needs to be consumed with moderation. The high levels of fructose are taxing on the liver. If you don't want to age fast: as little sugar as possible! I wish it was different 😭because I love all things sweet! (In addition, consuming a lot of herbs and spices, which lower those spikes. Maybe that can compensate)
Bad news for honey lovers like me🍯I just try to consume good quality honey, with moderation, not everyday!😅but would be better nothing at all for sure.
@@AM-jb7cp and the super frustrating thing about it is that that same honey and fruit still also ofcourse contain all the good stuff, like those anti-bacterial properties, nutrients and anti-oxidants!!! What to do!!??🙉😝🤪😤
:-(((((( I´m quite surprised that out of all youtubers are engaging in this trend of ´drink/eat this X to get X´. We´ve had enough of this when everybody was raving about eating clean and curing acne with eating clean. Drinking a smoothie won´t get you anything except high blood sugar and a minuscule amount of nutrients. It´s also a waste of the fruit, you better just eat the damn fruit if you want to get the benefits of said product. It´s also triggering for people that are suffering with eating disorders. Dr Dray has spoken many times about this and we´re past the stage when we want quick fixes and we want anything that is marketed as anti aging and anything that feeds on our insecurities. Take that with a grain of salt but take it.
It´s not bad to drink a sugary beverage you like. It´s bad if you think a beverage is going to change the way you look and you hope for that when you drink it. This video triggered some emotions in me and I apologize in advance for the intensity and wording of my message. I hope this is an open discussion and I would be happy to read anyone´s input and opinions.
Hi Arty! 🤗 Fel here! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and being so open to discussion! On our channel we completely agree that only doing one thing will not be able to solve health or skin issues, as we also believe in a balanced and holistic lifestyle approach. Which is similar to how we view skincare, in that it can’t treat the root of a problem either, and there’s multiple factors at play for every person since what we’re all going through is unique to us. When we created this video, the intention is to provide fun alternatives to those who need some inspiration, for potentially healthier drink alternatives, especially if maybe they’re someone whose only been drinking sugary sodas all their life. Or maybe they didn’t know about each fruits nutritional value, and so we’re hopefully creating more exciting options for each person to take what they need from it, and adapt to their own lifestyle and journey. But I totally agree with you in that there are a lot of people who claim there’s a one magical ingredient fix all, and I’ve fell into that trap too, especially with acne-prone skin. And this is why you'll always see us giving multiple options to you all. So once again, I appreciate you sharing this with us, and I hope this is able to paint the bigger picture of what our content aims to achieve, and your comment helps us as we go! - Fel xx
