I found the game to be beautiful it has a really deep lore and daimon boss fight for bitter black Isles was beautiful same with the music the music made want to cry
When you reach Daimon and hear this for the first time its incredible. I can never get enough covers of this song. One of the most straight up monumental moments i've had in gaming.
All riven, kith and kin, all given for this, a never-ending riddle, my flesh worn, heart betorn, mind, by mem'ry, begyved... As I wander, cold and immane whither now my mother, my flame. And along the coils of light, the life I desire. "Anon must we part" Words like a dart, red and dire, eyne that accoyed with their heat. O! How I have seen the Dragon's Dogma! Unbound by time, all-binding, grand design, land and skies and seas yearn, finish the Cycle of Eternal Return. When thou pulledst this boy from the sand, didst thou see him bearded, with brand? And within the coils of light, when our blades took flight- What future didst thou envision? As I keep this frozen demesne, whither now my mother, my flame; And along the coils of light, the life I desire.
It was the "red and dire" that was getting me all "???". I thought that wasn't in the original but, no, it's there; it's just that it takes on 4 notes instead of 3 this time and that was what was bothering me so much about it.
Well... With the 10th anniversary, and Itsuno saying he's making a "Big Project" it's no doubt it's DD2 and definitely not RE4 since he doesn't work with RE stuffs.
Give it time. There was 11 years between Devil May Cry 4 and 5, which happen to be from the creator of Dogma, who is also on record for saying after DMCV he would like to work on a Dogma sequel :D
@@valcristPL yes I know, but you know what? Known how much cut content the first DD has, I'd prefer to see a reboot with EVERYTHING that was planned in place.
I like this cover over the more childish sounding original but two parts feel bad to me. "Red and Dire" part is so off. It sound like she forgot the line and rushed it out in panic. The other part is more of a nit pick. They removed the "the" Infront of dragon's dogma. It's like taking a note out of a song. It breaks the flow
@@carl-wheezer Well Childish in a sense that the Singer sounds like a Little Girl singing about a fairytale. To me that doesn't fit. I think a slightly more mature sounding voice would have been more fitting for the song. Maybe not as Operatic like this version, but something else.
the original singer is literally a child/little boy because it's from the point of view of Daimon/Ashe when they were a kid(when their adopted mother died)
@@nerevarxeph I mean kinda get that, but that doesn't mean that makes the singing better. I still prefer the adult voice of the song over the more childish of the original.
