Does anyone knows if that is possible to do but like instead the columns being unaligned the rows get unaligned by the height of each individual cell? Or like if we just rotate the whole container in this example to form a brick pattern 🧱 pattern?

You're on the right track with the bricks, it's called a Masonry layout. It's coming to grid (semi-finctional in Firefox only) but for now you need a JS library to do it properly
