Surprise content! This video was shot during our collaboration with East Lothian Council in 2020 but wasn't cleared for publishing for another 10 extra months as the lockdown was really taking the wind out of everyone's travel sails. These days things are a bit more relaxed and people seem to be leaning into travelling between parts of Scotland with more gousto, and we were allowed to post this little forgotten vid!

My daughter and I are from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and were just visiting Edinburgh area in October (Dalgety Bay on the Fife Coastal Path) - we had an exquisite time! We're already planning our return under much of your influence! Thank you for your terrific videos, Kakibot :-)

A few places to recommend in Haddington, The Loft cafe, Falko and the walled gardens! My partner and I live here. We love east Lothian.

Loved the video! I get frustrated not finding much , if any, tours/tour ideas/itineraries or just plain videos for southern Scotland whether it’s coastal or inland. Scotland is so much more than just the Highlands (even though the Highlands ARE gorgeous). So thank you, East Lothian is lovely 🥰

A lovely video that captures some great places. Wonderful work! Carberry Tower for an afternoon day trip is a particular favourite of my wife and I, so it was nice to see it here. I've never heard of Archerfield, but after seeing the spa it's definitely now on our list! Thanks for the trip idea! And thanks for always putting such effort into these videos. They really brighten our day (and usually give us somewhere new to try in Edinburgh for cakes and coffee!). Best wishes.

Hi! I'm new in Edinburgh, after many years I finally managed to arrive here. I must say I'm so shocked at how low it gets here, first time in my life I've experienced 7 degrees, I never lived anywhere below 20. Amazing video as always

Congrats on making it to Edinburgh! Be prepared to be refreshed! I wonder if this winter's gonna be as snowy as last one, I'm assuming that would be a an exciting new experience for you too? As opposed to us locals who get frustrated with how nothing works when there's more than 0.5 cm of snow hanging on haha .D

@@Kakibot Yes! I've never seen snow before so I can't wait till december. I must say this winter could mess me up real good, one day I live in 35 degrees and the next day its 5 degrees so idk what will happen but we'll see, hopefully I'll get used to it fast

That'd be lovely, alas one of us always has to operate the camera! We work with a bit of a convoluted set-up, with just one mic and no autofocus, so we prefer always having a person behind the cam.

All of these are in East Lothian (I don't think the council would OK it otherwise ,)! But I can imagine that if you're based in Dunbar than you are technically way further into the East than all of these!
