i just noticed that, i would loooove to have that confidence. Not because of knowing how to loose, but to be that funny and being that confident talking in a language thats obviously not her regular one.
Tbh....she told about Psoas muscle that even others didn't get!!! Also, sciatic nerve. Her English might not be at their level but she got Science to defend.... strong lady.👍
Had a fellow soldier from Alabama and people were making fun of his accent. I was from Arkansas . .and remember looking at him and asking .. "You have an accent?"
@@m.a.3996 she went to dentistry school not medical school. But still anyone in STEM/ health field will get exposed to some type of anatomy. I study Psychology and I had to learn a lot about anatomy/ physiology of the brain and spinal cord.
As a native English speaker being Ellen, the questions are on an insanely unfair level for the competitors. However, Sophia's incredible sense of humour and emotional intelligence makes her the 'winner of hearts' of this section of the show. She actually made her disadvantage to be her advantage. And that's amazing. In contrast to Ellen being the dry rules police all the time.
Sofia was right on point about the psoas muscle....it's located in the lower lumbar region of the spine and extends through the pelvis to the femur. I love how she corrected Ellen about the sciatic nerve....THAT was strong!!!!
After 7 years since posting this video, Sofia still cracks me up. She is beautiful, her smile is just adorable, a great sport and she's hilarious. No surprise 30.7 million views.. And Ellen always brings Sofia's best in every video.. they are both great comedians.
Sofia knows herself. She uses the humor and accent to cultivate her charm. Plus she is so confident that she doesn't mind that people might be laughing at her. In fact, she laughs all the way to the bank.
I absolutely love Sofia Vagara. Everything she does is funny. She's does care it's taking her forever. She hits the button way too late and then smiles her incredible smile. She's the best.
Sofia 🤣 How confident she is! She doesn’t care about the rule at all 😂😂 She just tried to finish what she’s doing. That’s all we need in our life 😇 just try to finish what you are doing regardless of the time we have 😂

ikr 😂The timer went off and she kept talking and then pushed it at her own time not ellen’s time. Ellen : “Okay times up” Sofia : “Shut up” *keeps talking*
she is intelligent af.. not all beautiful women are intelligent, but sofia takes it one more level. Generally speaking all comedians are quite witty and intelligent.
@@demetriskatsianis2396 she studied dentistry for 3 years....so she should be quite confident on anatomy....ellen on the other hand looks dumb trying to correct her
When you have problems to be yourself, learn from Sophia. She's always herself. She's a power woman and the most prominent strength of her is her sheer honesty.
Sofia basically thinks in Spanish. She has to think first, translate stuff in her head to finally communicate her message. I would say she has a faster mind than most people. 😂
I just wanna say, that Sofia was saying how is the muscle psoas pronounced in Latin, not English. I thought it was a really clever answer - she said something that not so many people know and in Latin! Thumbs up!
@@eisk.6059 yep I know, I'm actually from Spain😂 I was just saying that she pronounced psoas exactly as I would do in Spanish, and I assume she did it that way since Spanish is her mother language (sorry for my English btw)
@@mariadelpozuelo576 Yea, I got you. I am from Czech and I would pronounce that the same way as well :) Guess only native English speakers are clueless (pls, take it as a joke)
+Gabriel Tzukishiro As a dental student, general anatomy is part of the curriculum. Granted we do focus more on the neck and head anatomy, but that doesn't eliminate the rest of the body.
