It really gets to me when the lyrics say “I wish that I could wake up with amnesia and forget about these stupid things, like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you” because that is such an innocent part of a relationship. A while ago my best friend had told me that he might be moving, but since I was really young I never really thought much of it. We did everything together. We even had sleepovers and would hang out at the park. I remember my dad told me the next day that he was leaving and I was heart broken. The next day at school he was packing his stuff up to get ready and leave. I tried talking to him but he told me he didn't want to get to attached since he was leaving. After that he didn't talk to me. *couple years later* I was really lost without him. But then middle school came around and I got to see him for the first time in like 5 years. It was awesome. Then he ended it for personal reasons.
