My favorite drop spot since day one is your #2 spot, which I call Windmoor Wharf. I don't land on the oil rig though. I land on the zip near the last windmill and immediately jump down onto the ship at the windmill's base. I loot the bottom, zip up, loot the top, start zipping over, but jump right away so as to land on the base of the next windmill. I rinse and repeat all the way to the ship at the base of the rig, where there's a slurp truck on end sticking out of the water. Then I zip up and loot the rig itself. You can loot all of it VERY quickly if you do it right. The best part about the location is the two massive zips in different directions. One leads you to a building with a few more chests and a BACK DOOR PIPE INTO GRAND GLACIER'S VAULT (building's parking lot just outside the vault door). Perfect for making a play for the medallion or scooping it up as the storm rolls in (boss dies super quick in the storm btw), third partying, rushing/camping the vault (EMPs and clusters are a good combo for rushing), or camping the other end of the pipe in case they use the pipe from Grand and pop out in the middle of a parking lot with no cover. The other zip isn't as exciting, but still very good. It leads north to a few small POIs. One has a small cash of case weapons, and the other is Coastal Coms. Its a good rotation for laying low and limiting your encounters. Even more useful for movement/rotation is that no matter which zip you take, you end up relatively close to a jump pad. The jump pads on the east coast mountain peaks are just a small part of a massive network of zips and pads. It literally spans half the island's coast. If you know the network well and are efficient, you can get to any point on it pretty quickly. Starting east coast lets you take advantage of height, making it easer to travel. You can travel the network eastward (low elevation to high), but its not very practical doing this without berries. The key to this spot is optimization. You are way out there, so you need move quick if the circle isn't kind. Optimizations like, looting the windmills in the way I described, and taking advantage of the jump pad network, are the difference between this spot being subject to storm RNG, vs a good spot to drop consistently. I think this is why its been overlooked as of yet. This spot has been extremely OP for me, because its been entirely uncontested. As in, I had never seen another player drop there in probably 100 drops of play. I thought Windmoor Wharf was a fitting name, since the area is a wharf with a vessel moored to a windmill, and as a result of dropping there, I seem to.. win more. I've been contested twice now, and players have started using bunkers in the vault to abate being rushed from the pipe. Still quite rare to see people at the drop, but the secret is out. Time to share it with the world.

I like the name Windmoor Wharf! And yes this drop spot is really good for many reasons. Uncontested, good loot, and easy rotations. I might make sum more videos like this because there’s still more secret drop spots people haven’t caught on yet.
