@@praneelgandhi8643 Mixing dry atta with water never works. Rice should always be soaked properly and ground to a very fine paste. Adding few pearls of sabudana while soaking makes it slightly sticky. This helps while making the designs and also makes it stay for sometime.
In our Odisha rongali are made from rice's paste+ water. We draw these type rangoli during our laxmi pooja which are celebrte on every Thursday of Margasir(odia name) month. We called is rangoli as "Jhoti".
