5 SEIZURES I HAD IN THIS LAST WEEK 

I love how much you need your mom, how you guys work together to get through the seizure, and then go back to your real world. My whole family is Canadian and you guy are quality people.

How often do you have seizures? Our daughter on average has had 5 per day all her life, but lately has only been haviing one or two a day. We also record many of them and put them on her channel. Her seizures are similar to yours. THANK YOU for being transparent in sharing your life with others!

I'm so glad I found this channel. I have pretty mild seizures. Not that hers are always mild. But my idea of a seizure was always something more dramatic. So I didn't understand my seizures for a long time. I didn't even realize they were seizures. I just thought I was spacing out and maybe it was something wrong with my eyes? Seeing her seizures reminds me of my own. Confusing to anyone who doesn't understand. And I don't know about anyone else, but people think I'm "faking" or "exaggerating" because I do have a weird sense of humor and I act weird for fun a lot anyway. But having a seizure is so weird. Sometimes I feel I am doing something just cuz I want to. Like when she's snapping her fingers...I can totally relate. Sometimes you do little things that you may have slight control over when you're losing all other control.

Im right here with you babe. I just got out of the hospital for my worst grand mal yet. Was post ictal for an entire day... 😢😢😢😢. Epilepsy is a horrible disease.

I had this problem with my son, just like her attacks, it was only with the psychoanalyst who went to look for the nature of the problem, where there was an incidence, or reasons that trigger this disturbance, so 100% solved the problem of attacks the way he had so similar to hers, look for a trusted psychoanalyst who can help a lot

Wow it actually looked like with the 4th one you stopped breathing just before it went full blown. The last one? I can sort of explain because I have panic attacks. The more you distract yourself the more likely it is to lessen and go away. If you notice watching this back you were in full convo discussing the can situation. See if your mom can do that more with you of talking about something to distract you and keep you talking... worth a try to experiment! Great job girl! 🌸✌️💜

Kola barking may have been warning you that Ang was going into a seizure, you can correct that behavior by training him to become a service dog but if he doesn't really like it then don't force him to be one

Not meaning to be negative but after observing this channel for some time now I'm at a loss as to why someone would want to 'share' their seizure activity for all to see. As a person from a medical background that attended and treated hundreds if not thousands of seizure patients over many years your rationale escapes me. I note all are not typical Grand Mal but more Jacksonian or Petit Mal in nature. I'd be interested to know what Meds you're on but it's none of my business of course. The biggest concern is hypoxia and the long term neurological compromise not to mention the unsupervised trauma risk or aspiration. Did you make a video on the aetiology of your particular seizure activity and what you're doing to mitigate them? Some activity such as this is of course idiopathic and difficult to treat/medicate but I'd be interested to know more details if you wanted to share?

My daughter had the VNS device implanted a month ago and it was just turned on a week ago to the lowest setting where they start you out at. She had two seizures this week compared to her normal 6 or 7. With the two she did have, I used the magnet provided to "up" the device temporarily to either stop or reduce the severity of the seizure. It did reduce the severity from what would have been a Grand Mal to very mild ones with little recovery time. In two weeks, the device level will be raised by another .25 and then two weeks after that another .25. If seizures stop, then it will not be increased unless something changes. So far so good and she can't even tell it's doing anything! You should really check into this. It's going to be a game changer for her.

I so wish also that i could take your pain away . You & your Mom are the bravest people . Your dogs are the best they have a sense build inside them . Your a beautiful girl and a sweet soul . I pray for you and your family . Stay brave ,!

I've had seizures for 48 yrs. along with 2 brain surgeries. If you are noticing more seizures in the fall and winter you may be having seasonal seizures and that happens do to the lack of seritonin this time of yr. Cold water therapy is great also. Put a cold washcloth on your face and neck 3 times a day and any time you feel a seizure starting this calms the neurons down and often stops the seizure. Check out the web forum Coping With Epilepsy it's great and you can ask questions and many people respond. Don't ever give up I've been working in a public school for 35 yrs. I wish you only the best.

i also suffer from seizures...the meds they had put me on don't work so i completely stopped.with my seizures i tend to scream when i'm about to have one,don't listen to anyone when they try to tell me stuff,&i try to undress myself or my husband.mine seem to start up when i'm stressed or if my iron is low.
