So glad you've found Acorn! My mom and I have been subscribers for a year now. We love mysteries, and the network focuses on intricate character arcs, rather than all the gore and violence of American dramas. Some of my favs---Good Karma Hospital, A Place to Call Home, Mystery Road, 800 Words, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Acceptable Risk, Queens of Mystery, Delicious and Walks with my Dog) We pay $4.99 a month with our Xfinity packages.

Lots of great female lead roles. Accidentally discovered this gem. Every day watching a new show. Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is one of favorites.

As someone who has watched everyone of these shows except the bonus show, cause I'm obsessed with British tv, I can attest to how great they all are!!! The Cry was definitely amazing, and will leave you so upset at the reveal at the end.

Sharooooooonda, this is how I traveled vicariously beingin 2020 lockdown, liiiiiiiisten Love me some BBC, BritBix and Acorn: Scott and Bailey, Happy Valley Agatha Raisin, Hinterland, Keeping The Faith, HAPPY VALLEY HAPPY VALLEY HAPPY VALLEY HAPPY VALLEY SEASON 1 and 2 ARE MY JAM!!!!..Also BBC :Get into "CRIMINAL" UK, Germany, Spain All Are soooooo good. Also BritBox.. baby if you want a dose of FINE and scary " The Fall" with Jaime Dornan, OMG SOOOOOOOO GOOD. SO GOOD. Lock your doors while you watch.
