Agree and Amen. I'm still praying for that myself to find a God fearing husband but i know also that God knows all my needs, struggles even before I ask Him. You two are spot on. I went through a relationship with an extremely needy individual, he would get upset if I didnt text him for long periods of time. God saved me from marrying him and I avoided a disaster. Also the dreams and visions from another. Never ever fall for it. If God shows them something through a dream, you should always have the same personal confirmation from God personally, and dont rely on what they're saying.

Me and my husband were not in the right place when we got together but God brought us into marriage and is working on us, preparing the bride, making sure He is our firm foundation before we come back together. When my husband and me got married we were far from perfect, we were young in Christ and not had mature wise christians around us to advise on the marriage. By God's grace, I have come out of that kind of relationship a year ago and have repented and re-committed my life to Jesus. This was so helpful, and affirms the lesson I learned the hard way! I am an older woman, but a baby Christian of almost 2 years. Very early in my walk with Jesus, I met a "Christian" man and he began actively pursuing me. I wish I would have know then that this is also a warning sign! I ended up in a relationship that lasted 9 months, before I broke it off. It was a horribly stressful time for me, and I should have ended it way before I did! This guy fit 3 out of the 5 warning signs you mentioned: hypocrit, leading me away from Christ, and needy/controlling. I'm grateful for the Holy Spirit telling me to say goodbye to that man, and I have been happily single again for over a year! I have been enjoying my time with God, and studying His Word, with no one trying to pull me away from Him. I will be much more careful in the future, if/when someone else comes along and starts taking an interest in more than friendship.

Divorce is such a ugly lie that destroys families . After yrs of heartache the Lord opened my eyes and through my ex-husband decisions I understood the Lord had released me from this abuse. My children also. I'm not perfect and know what I need to change to be better. It's lonely but the Lords my husband now and plan on staying that way. My children are my priority and teaching them about Jesus love, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, he's so much more. My mother was similar to you after 17 yrs of marriage and 7 daughters she prayed for God to change her husband and when he said he had another woman she read where Jesus said "in cases of adultery the man/woman is free" Free indeed!!! She married as a non believer because he got her pregnant at 16 but our Godly Dad came along - a bachelor and he met her and Jesus through her testimony and we were elated when they married. There are happy endings if you trust and obey! Of her 7 daughters only one married. We have Jesus and if God brings the right man as Timo and Marie stated- we would marry. A good man is hard to find! I went through so much pain because both of my grown children just not listening. It was so very hard for me. Their father died when they were 8 and 10 and they became more and more mischievous. It left me with PTSD when they both got into a lot of trouble in their twenties. They are ok now, married to people God supplied about six years ago with one,six and a half years with the other

Yes God hates divorce but if someone is married and being beaten by their spouse staying is not an option but remarriage is a no-no unless the person dies or if they were a non-believer like Paul said. Also, there are times when parents are hypocrites and or have poor reasons why you shouldn't marry like "she/he is black" but God if is guiding you to be married, listen to God and not man.

What about those who have parents who do not make attempts to protect their daughters from dangerous men- Instead they have the attitude where they feel like the daughter should just settle for any man. I've watched a couple of your videos and I'm continuing to watch until the latest one, but I have to comment first. First, you are a wonderful couple! You two are exactly the description of what I want in life. a godly man who will be able to guide me in life and for me to be as gentle and patient woman as Marie. I came to the piece where you talk about respecting parents and that's why I had to stop for a while and comment because I received something personal, let's say "providence". I don't have a good relationship with my parents. There are only three of us, but we argue as if there were 6 of us. 😄 We all have problems with anger, pride, lack of patience and so on and so forth. It's hard for me to be submissive to people who don't appreciate it (because no matter how I turn it, I'm always the one to blame ). And I know that I shouldn't look at it that way, because what's the use of being good to those who are good to me, but it's still hard. Also, they are not Christians, they are not born again. On paper, we are Catholics (although I no longer consider myself a Catholic, but a Christian), my mother goes to church on Sundays and that's it. They both curse a lot and there are many things that are wrong. And I can't even say that because an argument starts right away. And honestly, I often think , how will I meet my future husband with them. Will he run away from me when he sees what they are like. But while I was listening to this, somehow it made sense to me. Maybe it's me. Maybe regardless of everything, I should be obedient, patient, etc. If nothing, at least I should practice for my husband 😀
And here I came to the next part, which also applied to me until recently. In a relationship I always wanted attention, exactly that, to be constantly hugged, kissed, receiving messages, said I love you, etc. They should constantly leting me know that I mean something to them. I wanted to be the first and most important person in that person life. About a year ago, I could not have imagined what I am about to say now, which is that I want God to be his first priority. If it's not God, then I don't want to be with him at all because how will he love and guide me if God doesn't guide him?

I feel so frustrated. I didn't submit to my mom because she made no sense!! I did my best to make it work to the point where I told her "I love you" when she was verbally attacking me and she later said she hated how I made myself look like a martyr. That was the point where I gave up trying to make sense of her. It really really frustrates me because the Bible says to honor your parents, but how would I possibly be able to develop as a person when she for some reason believes that I'm evil??? She twisted everything I said to justify her anger!! Argh! How do I submit when she's been giving me outright conflicting demands since my early teens? If I could clone myself maybe I could! But I can't!! So I just gave up and at least made sure I got what I needed from wherever I could get it to stay sane... Whether she liked it or not. I did what she wanted for a while but she was never satisfied, and never reciprocated with what I needed to not become an emotional wreck. So I just did my own thing and stopped listening to her. Surely it would have been more wrong to honor her if it meant I would have to become like her (ungodly, hypocritical, self serving) to do so? Because of all that it feels sore everything someone talks about honoring your father and mother in the unconditional sense. Surely the benefits of the law only come to those who keep it? If my parents refuse to interact with me in a godly way, there's really not much I can do. In fact, any and all honesty on my part invites a round of verbal abuse. Since I can neither understand her nor tell the truth, I can only keep my distance from her. What else can I do? Oh wait. Sigh. Now I get it. She said I was making myself a martyr because she for some reason interprets everything I do in the worst possible light. Like I said. She has somehow convinced herself that I'm actually evil. Which she told me. On multiple occasions. She was doing that since I was in primary school. It was honestly insane... I'm honestly surprised I'm sane... and I still have no idea why she did that. Manifesting? Imagine growing up in a home where everything you do was interpreted in the worst possible light... sure she disliked me because I remind her of my dad... but the result of her prejudice on my young mind was downright psychedelic... 😂 Oh. I get it now. She harbored guilt for cheating on my dad, and being caught right in the act. So she, to defend her self righteousness, put all the blame on my dad... and by extension onto me. She was never wrong, it was always my fault. Isn't that just insane? What am I supposed to honor? I did everything I could to make it work, without understanding why she did what she did. I apologized first, I listened to her feelings to try to find middle ground, I expressed affection wherever I could, I didn't hold a grudge, I tried to be honest and express my feelings in a respectful way which never worked because she thought I was judging her. What more can I do? What more could I have done? I finally snapped and disowned her. What more could I have done? Before you ask, yes, I prayed, and I have no problem with God. He even told her to stop her theological study and have dinner with me once... she was the one who said he told her to and yet she ate with the most disgruntled expression, never talking to me. At which point I looked up to heaven and said "it would have been better if she didn't.😂" Oh and she ignored me everyday for, like two months after school because she was doing her study... the one day I felt discouraged and didn't go looking for her, she acted hurt that I didn't do that. My mind is still blown... in the last week before I moved away to university, she suddenly stopped cooking for us, soup and rice, every meal, no, her heart and soul was not in it, for those who think it was. I gave her time since she said she wanted to be alone, but after a few days I was concerned and cooked something and brought it up to her asking if she was okay. And somehow. What she got out of that. Was that she felt darkness and evil about her... and that it came from me. Can someone please explain to me how she came to that conclusion? Can someone PLEASE explain it to me?? No, mental health was not the issue, she had friends just fine and was involved with the church and was a leader of the young adults group and they looked up to her. So why? Like I said, it's a miracle I'm sane. And the only thing I can plausibly think of is demonic manifestation. She's been to deliverances... but nothing really changed. So it's probably a stronghold or several strongholds that she herself loves. And somewhere a year after living independently... God wiped my emotional memory of over 80% of what happened, at a conference, during worship. Just. Took it away. I'm just venting/processing at this point... RU-vid anonymity is great... The guilt was part of it, her pride and ego made up the rest. As a kid me and another 5yr old ish were play wrestling her so we lunged... and she kicked me so that I slid across the living room table. And when I looked at her like "what are you, why? We're just playing!" She said "that's what happens when you attack me" like she had just done something she thought was right and she was proud of herself. Granted it wasn't malicious. But being ten years younger now than she was at the time, I would have been horrified if I had been a bystander. She wasn't the worst. Not by a long shot. But it was simply impossible to be in any sort of relationship with her without shaving years off my life on a regular basis. ... Downright psychedelic. It honestly made me feel like I was going insane... at the ripe old age of 14. Imagine lifting a ball and it tunnels into the ground. Topping up a glass of water and instead drying up the water in the cup. That's what it was like!!!!! I feel stressed just thinking about it 😅 it was incomprehensible on so many levels... the thing is, she insists she had a happy childhood and up until college sang as she walked because she was so happy. And had a good job which she liked. I am honestly so confused how she ended up the way she did... but seriously? There's more and more people like her nowadays. I mean equally... tangled. Thank God Jesus is coming back soon, I don't think humanity can last much longer. Yes... demonic manifestation (she used to make the most creepy howling noise at night...) And an unwillingness to repent. She had so much hatred in her voice when she accused me now that I look back on it... it was so surreal...
I have experience the same with my mother, and also frustrated how I dont are all in thi Commands becouse of her. I do honor her as a human and have also and still do pray for her- for forgivness cuz she sont know what she's doing. Also as you- I cannot do anything- tried ALL- but she always somehow twist everything to negativety regardsless. She is so emotionell closed, and one day- years ago when her brother past- I prayed for us in his apartment cleaning up- she burst into tears and was humble all day- all glory to God🙏❤️✝️ My hole family (relatives) has told me how unwanted I was by her and luckely I have a father on earth who always had my back full of love. She has punised me verbaly and sometimes psyaclly all my childhood- wishing me from life when I went out playin- like- I hope a car run over you. Ether way I was on my knees for her- always wanted to "overhelp her with everything up til about 2 years ago- just wanted her to relise all hate she had by the love I tryed to flush over her. The more I gave- the more she pushed me down, I had no chance to make it right in some way. How should we do with this? I we cannot reach them? Will always pray for her and forgivness- and Im so thankful for God cuz He is all I need- He fills every part of me with so much care, love and wisdom- i dont lack anything, thanks to God in Jesus Christ our Lord- saviors name Amen Gods blessing to us all🙏✝️❤️love from Sweden
Lastly, I liked what you said about how your wife before she got married was submitted unto her Father. This is a prime example for how the most high designed the order of the family dynamic. The Father is the head of his wife and children until they marry. The ability to claim 99 percent of christians are deceived is idiotic. True, born again believers are not deceived, they will not follow a man like this. He might say, "I am trying to help weak believers". This would return me to my original post. Why were the comments not admissions of being in the 99 percent, thanking him for admonition?. This is a group, a club, he tickles ears while claiming not to. I am in no place, nor do I care to judge him as a person, however, with the wisdom of the holy spirit, it is easy to see through this game and make a judgement of the deception and honoring of each other rather than Christ in this ministry.
