West Meadow Rabbits made a very compelling argument for meat rabbits over meat chickens. One of the reasons was how much easier they are to raise in a neighborhood.
If you don’t care about the eggs and you’re looking for a meat animal that’s easy in the city, rabbits would definitely be at the top of the list! A great way to go for a lot of people!
@@WhitepepperFarmshomestead yep. He was specific about meat rabbits. Did a follow up considering dual purpose chickens where they came out slightly better, but still behind the rabbits overall. Getting high quality complete protein (eggs) without having to butcher an animal is a really nice feature, though.
