Can you guys do a video on what beauty tools are worth the investment reviewing stuff such as FOREO, Jade Rollers, Nurse Jamie’s Products, Vanity Planet, Clarisonic basically the really popular ones that are expensive or pricey but are possibly worth it??? 💛💛💛
Typically they say wash your face twice a day and or after you sweat so I’d use a gentle cleanser after you workout to get rid of any of that sweat and dirt that can potentially clog the pores
She talked about it at 16:39. You should always wash your face before and after. I think it’s preferable to do the morning routine with all the serums after the workout.
Can you invite Susan Yara to one of your videos soon? She's amazing. I get a lot of tips from her and from your channel. I just think that would be an amazing discussion.
Xochitl Martinez it’s a good investment for a long term its clean your skin and have anti aging stuff which you need specially when you are aging and have makeup so yeah.
While it is a good investment in your skincare, theres nothing wrong with using your hands if you have a good cleanser, I got a clairisonic and ended up not using it very often.
They offer a lot of cheaper ones ($39+,) but they aren't customizable to skin type. The Fofo is also cheaper ($89.) I can't exactly tell *how* it's supposed to be customized to your skincare routine, but I also haven't used it. The Luna 2 ($169), Luna ($129), and Luna Go ($99) are a little bit more pricy, but they still offer customizable brushes to match your skin.
Ok, so what i got from this video: - wash with gentle cleansers in the morning - at night use an oil to lift oils, dirt and grime and then wash with an active cleanser
I know this is going to sound horrible...but I USED to have a habit of not washing my face. I would get acne all over my face, my cheeks, my chin, and especially my forehead. I got so used to the acne I just didn’t care anymore. Then, I discovered your channel! This channel made me say “I WANT CLEAR SKIN” Now, my acne has been reduced by a huuuuuge amount. If I didn’t discover beauty within, I would have never taken proper care of my self and my skin. 💞💞
I have oily skin so I use the cerave foaming cleanser. Wow. It's so simple and that's what works for me. Once i cut out all the fancy skin care items my face has improved soooooo much. I still can't even believe it. Wish I started doing this sooner lol.
Saera Kim I really really want to use it but it has parabens and I’m extremely hesitant to put parabens on my skin due to the claims of the possible harmful effects that they have.
donutsarelove if t makes u feel any better, it’s not something ur even leaving on ur skin long enough for ingredients that low in the ingredients list to penetrate to harm u. If it was a lotion of some kind of leave on product then that’d be much worse I guess. But do more research on parabens the fear mongering on them is ridiculous.
i think re_issue (on instagram) gave a lot of tips and product recs for fungal acne. I believe they also made a starter kit? I'm not sure, but check out their insta
Writing this down for myself: 3:52 lighter cleanse (am) and deeper cleanse (pm) 4:40 gel, jelly milk cleanser 6:00 ingredients to look for in gentle cleansers 6:51 double cleansing method 9:42 how long should we cleanse for? 11:46 dry cleansing method 13:10 cleansing and exercise - Avoid makeup wipes - Wash face before and after exercising 17:52 optimum pressure while cleansing 18:30 gentle exfoliators and tools 19:13 hygiene (towels, brushes, pillowcase, phone)
I kind of wish they would put a small note of which cleanser (or product in general) they are applying on their skin during the little cut scenes where theyre washing their faces in the bathroom
People!! If you don't have money to buy a foreo now, buy a cleansing silicone pad on Amazon. It's cheap and almost works the same, but it's not electric. I highly recommend!
I have a Foreo i got in a fab fit fun box. I use it occasionally and think it's not that bad for your skin. But, I believe people don't need cleansing brushes I think in the long run as they can hurt your face. I bought a clarisonic back in 2014 before I knew they werent good for you.
They also have knock off Foreo’s on Amazon. I bought one over 4 years ago and use it in my shower ( my real Foreo is by my sink). It works really well, and I think I paid $20-30 for it!
@@clisaa6974 clarisonic brushes help exfoliate the skin, I don't think you should use it daily. Foreo, on the other hand, has soft silicone bristles and won't hurt your skin.
@@sarahd9138 oh wow, thank you!! Lately, my skin started to dried out, I never have problem with dry skin before. I have been using Garnier cleanser the blue version for 2 years, and I just knew that cleanser that tightened the skin after washing it is not good for dry skin. Thank you again!! I really need to start taking care of my face 😂❤️❤️❤️
@@scyly3728 you should get the sample first, innisfree products can cause irritation and break out for some people (i have issues with some products, but some other prod work well on me)
I'm a swimming instructor and swimmer myself and in the water for 10+ hours a week, I get dry itchy skin all the time and still trying to figure out how to manage my skin care. Mabye talk more about environments and what chlorine does to the skin.
Shireen Niloofar Try the Krave Great Barrier Relief. The tamanu and rosehip oils in it both help hyperpigmentation, and the overall formulation will help with eczema (it includes oat extract). Ive been surprised how it has replaced my vitamin C serum.
Tbh if anyone is thinking about splurging on a foreo it’s truly not worth it. No cleansing brush is, they can create micro tears in your skin the same as a scrub. As well as they’re extremely hard to keep hygienic for estheticians let alone a regular person. Washing your face for 60 seconds and then chemically exfoliating is all you rlly need. Foreo is cute but not worth hundreds of dollars, I never use mine after the first couple of months because I started chemical exfoliants and found it was too much for my skin to handle. I’ve never met a licensed esthetician that promotes foreo in 2019, like its fine but it isn’t great for your skin. Not trying to be a hater just want y’all to know it’s truly not worth it
I have the same opinion. They are really pricey and unnecessary. Channels promote because they get paid for that but using them everyday can tear your skin.
Cerave and La Roche Posay have been life savers ! They don’t have all the garbage that we don’t need in them and they are very affordable! I also enjoy Dr Drays channel she is a Dermatologist!
This new intro is so cuttteee! If anyone remembers the old Disney Channel games on their website, it reminds me of the suite life of zack and Cody game they had
This is crazy.i started using a new one n my skin changed.i.was wondering if m using the wrong one n here is the video !! You guys are real skin savers😅😘
This is non skincare related, but from a distance Felicia’s dress looks like the Tsum-tsum game characters 🙊 when in actual fact it’s a floral print dress 😂
@@golddragonette7795 Most of their products contain essential oils or plant extracts for fragrance. Just because it comes from a plant doesn't mean it's good for the skin
@@laurenj6974 it doesn't matter whether it's an extract or lab synthesised. If it suits your skin its fine, if not then don't use it. However very few of their skin care products use essential oils just for fragrance
Gold Dragonette idk on the Canadian lush website, most of their ingredient lists seem to include synthetic fragrances 🧐 from my understanding, labelling laws are a bit more strict in Canada so they tend to be a bit more revealing of what’s really in the product
Love your videos! New sub💕 but honestly would love a video of how to treat a pimple. Like when U have a pimple film it and film everything u do to help it or get rid of it, including scarring (or avoid scarring) then we can get more of an idea of what to do. Just a thought ...
You guys mention a lot about spf, what would be good options for summer and fall/winter since it is approaching us soon??? Affordable as well as Luxury brands?
Honestly wearing the same spf all year is perfect. If your skin is more dry during winter just switch up the serums and moisturizer for the extra hydration while your spf product will continue to protect you because thats what it is designed to to..not to keep u hydrated, but to protect your skin from the sun's aging and burning rays aka UVA (aging) and UVB (burning)
Angela romo They have mentioned the supergoop unseen sunscreen spf 40, they also talked about the luminosity daily habit spf 30. what i use is the vichy idéal soleli sport sunscreen spf 60 - it’s really nice and not greasy and doesn’t break me out!
why is it that when i stopped washing my face etc i reduce it to wash my face once a day, my skin just gets better ? Also, i stopped using toners, and moisturiser.. whenever i use them my skin doesn’t get better. I only cleanse once a day and mask every week .
I love this channel soooo much! 😍 You guys introduced me to Paula's Choice and I couldn't be more happy! I had a pretty bad hormonal breakout that wouldn't go away, I used Paula's product yesterday and it got SO MUCH better already! I couldn't belive it! 😍 You know your products!!
Some cleansing balms like Farmacy Green Clean rinse away so clean, its great on its own. Definitely with any water-resistant sunscreen. If you only use Krave Beet Shield, Krave cleanser should be enough.
I could sit and watch you girls talk about skincare for hours and hours! Love the videos, love the content and recommendations and will most definitely apply them to my routines!
Vikki leal salicylic acid don’t have to be left on the skin for a long time in order to be effective. However, leave on salicylic acid should only be left on spots otherwise you’re just asking for irritation
if it fits your skin needs a double cleanse at night and a cleanse in the morning to me, is good especially if you do over night masks or do a leave on lactic acid treatment or exfoliating over night, washing away that dead skin or what ever is left over from your pillow or the air particles will do your skin good! Just think about it :). If you’re using a great cleanser that doesn’t strip away your skin and is gentle I don’t see the harm.
Is Mia not apart of the Beauty Within channel anymore? I was wondering where she's been on the channel. Don't get me wrong I love Fel and Rowena, but I love Mia as well!
Can you guys please review human heart nature products? They are skin care products from the Philippines and it is all natural almost no chemical used. ❤️
NOT IN SYNC WITH THE TOPIC.. JUST WONDERING I have been wondering for a very, very long time by now.. But where is Mia currently working or where is she now?? Just really curious
So if we workout in the morning, should we wash our face before & after? Along with using the rest of the routine like toner, serum, etc. OR just cleanse and moisturize?
Omg so happy you found our channel, welcome to the fam! And yes i'm Aussiiieee heheh, I grew up in Canberra and moved over to New York 5 years ago 🙃Which city are you from? - Fel
Girl! Dog farts, gross towels & sheets?! 😱🤯. I'm always intrigued & grossed out by your channel LOL 😆. Thanks again for sharing; so much great info, lots of useful tips 😘✌🏾
Hello, just a quick question - if I wash in the morning, pre-exercise (to remove makeup), post-exercise (to remove sweat), and at night, at what point is overwashing, even with gentle cleanser? thanks.
Joyce Lee I think if you’re overly dry or overly oily, that would show signs of over cleansing. If this is working for you-go ahead, but I would suggest getting a little toner on your Cotton pad and using that to remove sweat after a workout
Tip: instead of patting your face dry with the same daily face rag... use a cotton pad! Or better yet, AIR DRY. I've been doing this for months and noticed a huge improvement.
If I cleanse more than once a day, my skin gets stripped, dry, and red. I should know. Cleaning in the morning broke my skin barrier, and I have combinations sensitive oily skin. Well that (over cleansing), too many actives, and exfoliating toners. Cerave breaks me out and gives me a load of bumps on my skin.
*So, I bought the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads bc I wanted a good exfoliatiant, and I seem really great reviews with this! BUT, Idk if it's me using it wrong or what, but I feel like it makes me break out more!! Is this ok to use right after washing, or should I wait about 30 minutes?? How is this supposed to work, and is it normal that I'm breaking out, possibly bc it's pulling the gunk out of my pores??!! It drives me crazy bc I can't afford pricey things, but I desperately need help with my skin!!!!*
Anyone else breakout after double cleansing, or from oil cleansers in general, or cleansing after they workout? I've tried three different oil cleansers (Farmacy balm, Neogen, and Muji- all highly raved about ones) and cleansing after sweating, and I just breakout with painful cystic acne. I've found that sticking to just a water cleanse in the AM, then micellar water, water, moisturizer, and then sunscreen in the PM that my face stopped breaking out completely?? I stopped washing my face after working out and it did wonders. Probably because the skin is naturally meant to produce those natural oils to replenish the skin. Don't get me wrong if it works for you great! But it gets so tiring to hear "aesthetician" or "dermatologist" recommended when one size doesn't fit all!! "Recommended" doesn't mean necessary or effective for many :)
I love my Foreo Luna 2! I've been using it for almost 3 years now and I feel the difference when I don't use it (I feel like my face isn't properly clean). My face is always super smooth as well afterwards as well. Best money I've spent in terms of skincare!
Yes, I can say that the Clarisonic IS worth every penny because sonic cleaning does work. The others that try to Imitate the product, don’t because their bristles rotate in a circle which drags the skin. The Clarisonic doesn’t, it rotates back & forth slightly to dislodge dirt. There are demos & clinicals if you look it up on here on QVC Clarisonic & watch the videos on it for educational purposes. I’ve had my Clarisonic Mia for at least 13 years & it has really changed my skin for the better. I’m 58 & people say I look about 35.😉
Honestly, I have it and while is good, is not worth it for the price, I’ve recently bought the Etude House jelly fish silicon brush and it does the same and i prefer it because I’d your cleanser is not a foaming one that brush makes it a foam. It’s great, more affordable and totally worth your money
I have it and I rarely use it to cleanse. At night I use it to massage my face and neck. I do think a Clarisonic is worth it. I have 3 lol and I’ve given them as gifts. And honestly, you only need the Mia, I never use all the different settings on my big Clarisonics. The frequency that they had clinical studies on is the pre programmed setting. The key to using is it not pressing so hard on your skin. Most everyone that doesn’t like it are pressing really hard.
They are wrong in this video though. Most people and especially dermatologists agree that you DONT need to wash your face in the morning. Just rinsing your face in the morning and patting dry is 100% effective. You don’t need an actual cleanser in the morning, only at night. It’s only stripping your skin and your acid mantle by doing it in the morning too.
I cannot wash my face AT ALL in the morning. Like nothing nada. Not the gentlest cleanser in the world, not even micellar water. I have very dry skin and have had maybe 20 pimples in my life, but if I cleanse in the morning, it becomes the oiliest pimpliest skin ever.
Washing the face before and after workout is good. But it would be washing the face more than 2 times a day (in morning, then before after workout and lastly at night). Is it okay to do so? I generally prefer working out between 4pm to 7pm.
I have recently started using apple cider vinegar as toner diluted of course. And neautregena grape fruit face cleanser. But i seem to be having a reaction or something i have scally under eyes and im still breaking out badly! And very weird bumpy texture all over my face 😑😑 idk whats going on
I would workout everyday during the summer and I don’t know why but I broke out a lot during the summer and now I know why it’s because I wouldn’t cleanse my face after omggg
Clearly not the Beauty Within girls but I absolutely love it. Great for super gentle regular exfoliation. Works well for all skin types. If you want something even more personalized Tatcha have their rice polish that comes in different formulas for different skin types/concerns. Hope this helps!
