My friend had filler in the nasolabial folds 8 years ago and still does not need it again yet! 199 dollars for that mirror! I will just keep applying the sunscreen in two layers.😊
I am amazed at the “suggestions” that people leave in the comments. Cut you hair or tight line you eye lids-I think you look great. I appreciate this manageable list of skin care products with different price points. I am 68 and agree with everything you recommended especially sunscreen. I tell my younger friends about the benefits of daily sunscreen but most have not converted yet! Look forward to watching more of your videos.
Angie from Hot & flashy got a testing kit to see what the PH levels are in a lot of Vitamin C serums in the market. The one that came out on top was Timeless for the correct balance. I use a lot of the Timeless products you mentioned. I have dry skin, so a few of the sunscreens that I can use & also looks good under makeup when I wear it is called R & R Mineral spf50 sunscreen & for beach days Elta MD UV Broad spectrum spf 44. both are tinted so I don't use foundation & looks great. Thanks for a great video.
You are gorgeous! You look about 10 yrs younger. Your skin is so pretty. I wish I would look like you at 63. I’m 51 now. I believe that your food choices and positive attitude help you as well. Keep doing what you do! Thanks for sharing your advice and tips 🙌
I don't think that the fillers you had are diminish because fillers usually last 2 years or more. I am 63 too! and my skincare is similar to yours 😀 . Morning: Vitamin C ( Timeless) CoQ10 (Timeless) moustirizer and sunscreen Night: curology and moustirizer. I always had problems with my neck because the tretinoin some weeks I could apply without problem but suddenly started to get irritated finally 2 weeks ago I started Maelove moonlight every night and I don't have any issues at all.😊
I spoke to a plastic surgeon last week about his extensive experience with botox and fillers. He said the older a person it, the shorter the amount of time that the botox or fillers last.
@@gloryb-tv Hmmm this is the first time I heard that, my sister and I have been having botox for 16 years (we are 2 years apart) and ours last approximately 5 to 6 months. About the fillers I can assure you that the first time lasted 3 years and now ( the second time) it's been almost 2 years and still looking good! We go to a well-known plastic surgeon in the Chicago area.
5 skin care products that I’d bring on a deserted island are 3 serums, an eye cream, and a moisturizer. I love “Maelove” products, so I use their vitamin C serum called Glow Maker along with their retinal serum called Moonlight. The third serum would either be a 14% glycolic acid that I love from “Alpha Skin Care” or the Hydrator serum from Maelove - I can’t decide, lol. My fave eye cream is a must-have: “Biossance” brand w squalane (or “First Aid Beauy eye cream w retinol). Lastly, I’d end with the “Fresh” brand face cream called Rose Deep Hydration. Great video!

Botox lasts for 8 months. My sister is doing that since 20 years ago and fillers last a long time as well which depends on what kind of filler you’ve used of course!
Botox does not last for 8 months. I have been getting Botox over 10 years now, and the longest it has lasted me was around 5 months. Thee company states it last about 3-4 months.
I love Sisley serum, Estee lauder ,Sothys moisturizer n Obagi❤I hv tried skinceuticals but need to order from USA. Btw Paula's coice has an excrllent toner
Thank you sharing what you use. You look great! I'm 68. I can't use Retinol or Tretinoin, but I do use Medik8 Crystal Retinal 20 every night. It is the strongest Retinaldehyde I've found. It doesn't bother my skin at all. I've read that Avene sells a good Retinaldehyde too. Retinaldehyde is only one conversion step away from Treninoin. Retinol is two steps away. One RU-vid dermatologist explained that the Retinaldehyde releases slower and more evenly so it's less likely to burn my skin than Retinol or Trentinoin.
I started with 10. I figured I could go to a lower strength if it caused irritation, then use the 10 later. I had no problem with 10 so I decided to try 20. I've been using it for a while now with no irritation
I can put it on the list of to-dos. Meanwhile, using the large Timeless 4 ounce (which they've told me they're going to stop using and go back to a 4 ounce dropper bottle), since the large Timeless can't be opened, I pump it about 50 times into the 1 ounce dropper bottle that has a small funnel in it - like these - amzn.to/3Xm4GCN
I’m appalled by the ridiculous comments telling her how to wear her makeup. Not only are women SUPPOSED to be more supportive of each other, but these are propagating the idea that women need makeup to look better! She’s in her sixties, and looks great! How about becoming more comfortable in our own skin as we age and stop buying into makeup ideas that only benefit big corporations that take advantage of insecure women. Less is more, and I’m here for skin care tips. How disappointing.
I think what makes you look lots younger than your age are actually your bone structure and facial contour. By that I mean you dont have inverted triange face with jowls, no hooded eyelids. In contrary to common belief, these play much bigger role in how aging a person look, compared to skin texture.
@@gloryb-tv oh yes, it's the Matrixyl 3000 that you mentioned as an alternative to a retinol. How does the Synthe 6 differ? The CoQ10 contains Matrixyl 3000, so I don't bother to use that separately.
The Synthe 6 description on their site reads, "Our Matrixyl S6 contains a 2% concentration of Matrixyl®️ Synthe’6®️, a powerful polypeptide that promotes collagen production. This polypeptide stimulates six major constituents of the skin matrix and dermal-epidermal junction (collagen I, II, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, and lamin 5). Combined with Hyaluronic Acid for powerful hydration, this serum helps reverse the visible signs of aging and smooths out deep wrinkles and fine lines."
I'd love to know how your make up in this video would have looked if you'd have tight-lined your upper lash line. I'm burning with curiosity! A really dense navy blue waterproof gel liner, oh I'm so curious. I'm convinced it would look amazing on you and sneakily thicken your lash base without looking like you're wearing obvious eyeliner. The navy tint to the black would emphasise the clarity of your eyes, the whites appearing brighter. Your make up EXACTLY as you did it in this video (gorgeous) but with a dense tightline on just the upper lash line. Argh, it's all I could think of. You're so striking! 🤩
Tightlining for me would turn out to be terrible looking within 30 minutes. My eyes rebel against tightlining with a lot of tearing and, alas, messed up makeup.
@@gloryb-tv Oh no, that's such a shame! A bit like your skin rebelling against any form of retinol. How disappointing. Your skin is gorgeous so it's best you stick to what you know works. 🙂
Yeah, I've already had cataract surgery and now I have a couple floaters in the left eye. Plus some allergies. So even though I wore contacts for years (prior to Lasik in 1999) and have no problem touching my eyes, getting into the lash line or at that skin edge of the upper lids just makes my eyes water and makeup to run or get washed away from tears quickly.
@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 Ridiculous comment. How about you stop telling her how to wear her makeup. @@AnonymousPerson0182 I have no idea what ugly tone you read into my comment or how you deliberately twisted it. Social media does appalling things to people's reading comprehension and communication. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
I also can’t do retinol. Every time I go back to it, it really has a bad effect. I would also recommend Oxygen Ceuticals which is a Korean brand. My dermatologist gave me a few things to try and I was amazed. I’m also 63 and will say genetics, water, sunscreen, sleep and nutrition is the most important think. My mother never had a wrinkle with beautiful skin and she used Vaseline, but she was also a vegetarian most of her life and exercised every day.
I'm looking for a more moisturizing day creme. My skin at 63 is so dry. If I use Vit C and don't use an oil like one of the Timeless ones it's too dry, but many day moisturizers are very light. Maybe in summer it will change but working indoors with air, I'm not sure. Now I use Timeless products, Elta MD sunscreen and olay at night with Curology. (I think after 4 years though Curology is at a standstill) I am stretching out delivery and using it every other day.
Have you used hyaluronic acid supplements? I just ordered some and hoping to hydrate from the inside out as well. I use most of the products you’ve mentioned and love them ❤
I haven't. Please come back to comment after you've taken them for 3 or 4 months to tell us what you think. And take "before" and "after" photos so that you can see the difference yourself (if any).
I’m a new subscriber. You are gorgeous! I’m 61 and just started taking care of my skin. Yikes! Growing up in the Deep South, no one talked about sunscreen and I never used it. Another yikes! Fortunately, my skin looks great, except for my neck which looks like turkey died on it. I am now using many of the products that you have mentioned, but my vitamin C serum oxidizes quickly. Can you recommend a more stable version? Thank you again for this terrific video!
Thx for watching & subbing! The vitamin C serums I recommend are in the video's Description Box. Suggest starting with the Timeless brand. Keep it in your refrigerator and it won't turn color. I once had some from Timeless turn color from their newer packaging. I sent them a photo of it (fairly newly opened) and they sent me a new bottle of serum.
@@MDougherty72747 Great question. I was given some SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum to try and I let it sit in the box for several weeks (I should have put the bottles in the refrigerator right away). When I finally opened one of them, it was really orange and had that smell. I contacted SkinCeuticals to ask about it. They replied to my email with the following: "The variation in color of CE Ferulic can vary widely in color from batch to batch. This will not affect the efficacy of the product. It is normal for SkinCeuticals vitamin C products to darken. The formula will remain effective. Once opened, with daily application of 4-5 drops to face, neck, and chest, it is recommended to be used within 3-6 months after opening." Meanwhile, I once bought a 4 ounce bottle of Timeless C serum (in that pump style bottle that I don't like), put it straight into the refrigerator when I received it, and opened it for the first time about 3 weeks later and it wasn't clear - more of an amber color. I sent an email to Timeless with a photo showing the color of the serum. They actually sent me a new 4 ounce bottle.
Can you give any recommendations for vitamin C serum’s that are not derived from Corn? I have an anaphylactic reaction to corn. Unfortunately, most of vitamin C, serums are derived from corn along with the regular vitamin C itself.
I contacted the team at Timeless to ask about the source of their vitamin C in their serum. They contacted their supplier to ask. Their supplier still hasn't replied. So they're saying if you don't know if a C serum has a derivative of corn to not use it. I'm sorry about that.
New subscriber here. Link for Ordinary Ascorbyl serum does not work. Do you have another link? Also, can all of these serums or lotions be used with Retin-A or Tretinoin? TIA
I just tested the link now for The Ordinarly Ascorbyl vitamin C, and tested it by clicking it in this video's description box. It works correctly. Here is that same link: bit.ly/3dit59r I believe you can use these serums with retin A.
I'm sorry about that. The retailer told me later that the discount code doesn't work with their Skinceuticals products because Skinceuticals doesn't allow discounts. 😒
Thank you so much for sharing your experience but your face has definitely Botox and filler ok it’s a few months back but still we can see the affect but you neck looks different from your face
You are beautiful woman and look very good for your age however the haircut isn’t flattering on you, perhaps make it like Chris Jenner shorter or have longer length but straight no layers if that make sense
