Happily accepting the 5 slides in 10 minutes challenge from @lourrutiappt
I set out to create 5 professional slides in under 10 minutes, aiming for high-quality designs that go beyond the ordinary.
No shortcuts here - I wanted to showcase the full potential of PowerPoint, incorporating trendy features like glassmorphism, 3D effects, a custom-made laptop illustration, an animated slide, and crafting a festive closing slide that leave a lasting impression.

What a challenge! 😎 Didn’t want to take the easy way out, but design high quality slides instead. Very curious to hear what you guys think about this challenge? Don’t get discouraged, this isn’t my regular working speed (maybe only for last minute deadlines💀) Some fun facts about the challenge: 🧠 Rehearsed the slides many times to build some muscle memory & master the steps. 🔁 It took me 6 tries to finish the recording in exactly 10 minutes. 🎙 Recorded the voice-over afterwards, couldn’t manage it during. 🤷‍♂ Originally I wanted to add 1 or 2 more icons on the final slide, but ran out of time. 🎧 Was listening to “Universal Nation - Push” on repeat to get me in to the flow 🥹 You can hear me getting nervous in the final minutes, but I’m happy I made it! Thanks @lourrutiappt for the challenge. Stay Creative 🙏💜

This challenge was fantastic! You guys should do more! I was getting nervous right along with you. Some great effects in here, love using the framing and removing backgrounds on the elephant and frog. Well done.

I want body slides and technical content for scientific publications. Giant stock photos and animated titles don't really cut it at conferences. These tutorials mainly seem directed towards middle/high school book presentations/reports.

It’s been industry standard in printing since about the 1500’s. The idea is that it allows the user to input text that looks like proper text, to demonstrate how something will look without the reader getting distracted reading the text.
