I think the sneaker culture has been pretty bad in the last few years. It's pretty dumb that people would buy a shoe just for the resell value. No hate if some of y'all do it but just how I feel.
Def agree. There are so many sneakers with high resell value that dont look that great. I guarantee if they made less pairs of the Black Cement 3s and people were forced to pay resell they wouldnt even be on this didnt live up to the hype list
Big Rob Videos not so much that they buy them for the resell value. Rather, it’s kinda shitty that sneaker heads are basing how “hot” a sneaker is only on their accessibility. If a shoe is available without having to pay a resell fee its automatically deemed less desirable and people say it’s “sitting”. This stigmas bs though some pretty fire sneakers have come out this year despite being gr and despite being pretty readily available. The concord 11’s, Mocha 3’s, platinum 11’s, Spiderman 1’s, rookie 1’s, and sports illustrated 1’s all dropped and for some time could all be copped in your local shoe store. Yet does that really make them any less fire? Fuck no.
Patsim not as they were expected to. People expect them to sell out in one day like in 2011. Also you could still get them after a couple days in the UK
Yall should do a challenge where each of you picks a wack item (shirt, jacket, shoes) for the other person. And it's that persons job to make an outfit out of it that looks as fly as possible!
The thing about the Futurecrafts is they're supposed to eventually be specifically designed for your feet. Getting someone else's pair wouldn't be the same as getting your own personalized ones.
How did 4ds not live up to their hype my g? They sell for double - triple retail depending on size! The white and black diamond SB’s has a large release! Haha good video to watch though fam even though I gotta disagree!
The Starr Life it's cause they were so limited that they weren't as popular as they were hyped to be. The resell price reflects the insanely low stock numbers, not the demand. While there is demand for em, it's not as high as other hyped kicks, just because of that high retail price and low quantity
I gotta agree Richie for this. The shoe isn’t bad at all. I like the 4D’s, but they were so incredibly limited , no one bothered to try because they felt they wasting their time. Adidas flopped. They could’ve done better in 2018 if they would’ve taken advantage of the hype the 4D’s generated early on. It’s gone now
@@diddlydaddy69 Nobody bothered to try? Well clearly they did because they sold out...every color. They have released like 8 different pairs of 4Ds now...
@@tonirivers12345 idk how accurate that is since they had the 4d future craft on here and it literally resales for 1,200 and up which by that logic would mean it lived up to hype and no curry has ever really had hype or resale so why even put that on the list
Carter Chambers well connected to resale not necessarily just the amount. They said no one is copping them. So, its not only having an expensive item but people buying it too. Willing to pay that much. I think that makes sense
Got a big question for you dog! I’m new into the sneaker world and how things work. I have recently fallen in love with the nike vapormax flyknit 2’s but everywhere I go they are sold out! The question is: do shoes like this restock? Or once that model and color are sold out that’s kind of it? In other words, should I wait for restock or not? PLEASE get back to me on this my man. Love your videos!
Personally I got the Black Cement 3s and I really like them not because of the hype just the way the shoe looks especially with the Nike Air on the back
I have a pair of the black cements, and I’ve never worn them. I wanted them so bad in middle school throughout high school and could never afford it, so now that I can I wanted it really just for nostalgia.
The Black cement 3s are legendary. Tan was right if they were limited and reselling for North of $800 you guys would be frothing. Nike made them a general release which made it easier for everyone to cop. And they did. It sold out very quick in Australia. Me personally, its one of my all time favourite shoes ever. Super glad I got my pair.
presto acronym, first one was crazy, and second collection is just as nice in my opinion. However, it is a good thing that they are not hyped, so I can get all three pirs
The fact with the Black Cement 3s is the majority of people who hyped them up were using the "tHeY arRe A cLasSiC" as a cover-up excuse to go after these knowing they'd be hyped and sell out, and they were scared to be called hypebeasts because they think you can't be a hypebeast if you like OG Jordans. Same goes for every other Jordan OG. Even kids that didn't exist at the time Jordan played are using that generic shit as an excuse.
I guess I’m what you call a hypebeast that being said I still fuck with BC3s it was a classic when I was growing up and the nostalgia of having them is a plus for me..hype isn’t always for me
Just Bc the resale value on the bc3s ain’t a lot doesn’t mean the sneaker ain’t live up to its expectations! This sneaker is classic kids nowadays wont appreciate it!
