Dude it really fucking is. Give your marines some Arcane Sentinal Beams and watch them tear the asses out of the Banished. Even the enhanced Assault Rifles will make them an instant threat too.
Warthog has always been kind of shit. The sheer amount of bullets it takes to break an elites shields on Legendary in earlier games made it pretty bad.
@@timur5241 So lore/gameplay wise Spartans have insanely enhanced reflexes. It's like the whole world's in slow motion. That's why you can see the projectiles.
@@jimmyphantom5572 There is no such thing as overkill in war, only those that have the means to dominate their enemy and those that die, because war does not determine who is right but rather who is left.
CE is by far the best halo. All the bunjie games were good, but CE was the best by some distance, so that was a good inspirational choice from 343. Infinite is finally a worthy sequel to CE, that they can really build upon with updates and more DLC
I think 343 finally got a walkthrough how CE was programmed and realized that Halo CE was good not only because it was a groundbreaking experience but the SW designers who were involved technically were heavy hitters
@@davep8221 The only major thing changed when bringing over games to the MCC was the tickrate. So while they technically did screw with the enemies, it was inadvertently when they made the games run at 60 fps. Elite firing patterns in CE are just so stupidly damaging now
Chief: On my way to your location. Marines in distress: Nice. Also chief: We've got a Razorback full of snipers. Marines soon-to-not-be in distress: REAL SHIT
i still think all arcane razor back is superior to all snipers, I've found kenetic weapons against things like jackles can be annoying because the AI don't shoot the hands and follow it up. maybe 2 Arcane 2 snipers might be the most efficient though, since Arcane lacks range
I swear these marines are the best and worst ones we’ve ever had lmao Half the time they vaporise anything that even comes near them like this video and then the other half they just kinda stand there while a brute beats them to death Atleast in my experience
In my experience, any that have rockets will just stand there and never shoot unless it's at a rock or wall with half of their fellow marines to blow up with themselves
I think when they stare it’s because they are reloading but they don’t have animations to reload, so you would’ve seen them reload then fire, and then sweep for targets.
I think the two best ways to equip the razorback (if you could only choose one weapon) are definitely the arcane sentinel beam or volatile skewer. It's like watching Thanos snap his fingers when you drive into a Banished outpost with the sentinel beams, and marines will fucking ANNIHILATE entire camps from a distance with skewers because they can arc the shots from super far PERFECTLY.
@@OnAChairSitting yeah, tbf thanos didn’t truly need 6 boring old pebbles, what he truly needed was 5 of the UNSC’s finest mean and green marines, to send half of those ugly alien bastards to whatever hole they will surely regret leaving.
The enemy has one really good counter to the troop hog: shock rifles. When they hit a vehicle, they hurt everyone inside. Lost almost everyone in a few moments when skimmers with shock rifles lit us up in the razorback. Started dismounting them beforehand.
I'd also add that Brute Stalkers are also armed with Skewers usually and those can actually cripple your Razorback if you're not careful and they can hit with good accuracy.
I think there needs to be an update to make the dropship explosion look a lot better and to leave a lot more debris. It is a bit unsatisfying at the moment.
Razorback with 5 Marines is like a highly maneuverable tank with 5 aimbot cannons with unlimited ammo. Of course you can easily adjust this overpower by giving them weaker weapons or using a regular Warthog with a gunner. Though it's a lot of fun loading a Razorback with Sentinel laser carrying marines.
Skewer shots have a higher chance of missing. S7 shots don't miss nearly as often, though you still have to be somewhat careful. The Arcane Sentinel Beam is usually considered to be the best.
Grunt: danger, the Spartan is coming for us!! Brute: we are in legendary, what's the problem? Grunt: comes in a Razorback, with 5 Snipers!! Brute: *down the head* all is lost...
After seeing countless Razorback with Marine videos, it'd be cool if 343 could either reintroduce the Hornet/Falcon or even an aerial troop transport vehicle. It'd be literally death from above as you fly into enemy camps and the sky starts raining beams or rockets onto the Banished in every direction.
Sometimes, I like to believe that one of the requirements to become a UNSC Marine is to have 100% deadshot aim with snipers (while also head shooting in a moving vehicle) to explain why all of them have the ridiculous aimbot in the Halo games. Makes them feel more elite to me, I guess. Since they have to train against aliens or something.
Since the AI on this game is pretty good, for the next game can we have another vehicle follow the main vehicle that the player is on? Having a group of vehicles raiding together would be amazing!
@@Hazzmango Halo 5 despite it reception. Proved the A.I. can have multiple AI squad mates piloting vehicles. I loved Halo 5 Gameplay I just wish we had Halo 5 gameplay mixed with Halo Infinite weapons and campaign.
In halo 3 you could have a convoy of scorpions, hogs, choppers and ghosts all ridden by the ai same in halo two like in the tunnel section where I manage to get three hogs and a ghost all the way to where Johnson drops the thank
In Vietnam, they made things called "GunTrucks" where people would armour their own trucks, and use them as a ghetto weapons platform in convoys. This reminds me of that lol. Next update, they should add something like that, where guntrucks of marines help you out. Also they should work together to jump a Brute or an Elite, and stab em in the throat, the same way they did in that one Halo ODST cutscene. Marines so underrated. I think everyone loves them, beacuse if we were dropped into Halo, we would litterally be those exact marines in the same situation. There should be a campaign where you get to play as a marine.
Good too know they’re accurate, I was worried I’d be giving a good weapon to some shitty aimers. This is better than rocket launchers. Also I don’t like marines with shotguns.
I like a little variety: 3x arcane sentinel beams 1x sniper / skewer 1x seeking rocket launcher / ravager (sucks-ish, but it's fun to watch the squaddie arc over cover to a hiding brute) with a little variation for fun. Close range melting and long range nukeage. Fun at all ranges. But man is it a PITA to find a crew and equip them. Give me a way to build loadouts.
@@robamiri9665 It's not a struggle, it's a PITA, and it effs up the flow and immersion of the game. If you think dealing with such a crappy UI is OK, fine. I'm sure you've never complained about loads taking "forever." Look at your watch next time. Or 3 second pauses when moving to a new zone on the map. Or geometry popping. All fine. Nothing to see here. Falling through the floor and having to reload (instantaneously, of course) and repeat a boss fight? Meh, we play the game for boss fights. Should be considered a feature. These are true tech problems with very hard solutions and complaints abound. How hard is it to make a saved load out(s) and apply one? Spoiler, I'm in CompSci, it isn't. They've never been offered in any other game, so no one cares. Some games make you pay for for additional slots. Accepting third quality code doesn't help improve the industry.
@@robamiri9665 I made another reply, but can't find it to edit it. But, just to summarize, you'd be happy with a 2 minute load time before *every* FOB "mission?" And even then, you can go take a leak during the load.
I remember when I first took a Razorback to go fight a high value target, I was picking off the smaller ones first and then I got the voice line that he’d been killed. That’s when I took the marines everywhere
