The Difference in speed with these two is probably the most obvious in this video compared to all the other 5 star vs 1 star matchups. Also whoever made Dante's highlight video did not set him up with the greatest of plays.
I’m a John Glenn high school alumni, I actually know Dante personally he’s a great player and I believe we are division 1,2 or 3 it changed after I graduated so I’m not completely sure P.s. our end zone cam is really old 💀💀 that’s why it looks like that, J.G is a broke school 😂 P.s.s I played for John Glenn as a varsity player I went 3-15 overall 🤦🏽♂️😂
Dante seems more like an all around athlete who is just at the corner position. Derek has good corner mechanics and is a more instinctive defensive ability. I played corner and that's what I always did. You play from behind watch the WR and QB and rely on your acceleration to come up and pick the ball off. Hes a OD ball hawk. And his size jeeeez
However I can easily see him being beat by double moves, pump and go's and stutter steps. So he's probably gonna have to work on that aggesiveness at the next level
You should take a look at Ludovick Choquette! He’s a junior RB in Florida. He finished his season with 185 carries for 1800+ yds and 21 touchdowns! He is a frenchie from Montreal, Québec and he is my bestfriend. I think he really deserves to be known!! Thank you Sharpe!
I played stingley in high school . We are both from Baton Rouge. I played full back and ran a flat route... next thing you know my helmet is off and stingley is dancing. Not my best moment.
FYI. Louisiana has 2 ‘Rankings’: Classes & Divisions. ‘Class’ is typically public schools with 5A being the highest class & 1A the lowest. ‘Division’ is private schools with Division 1 being the highest and Division 4 the lowest. Therefore, Dunham is Division 3 because they are private and in the 3rd best division in Louisiana ‘Private Class’. Just a little fact bc we Louisianians like to do things the complicated way.
Dunham got eliminated by Catholic High School in the quarterfinal round. The score was 35-7. The main CHS WR that was cutting up the Dunham secondary was Peter Leblanc, a three star recruit committed to Louisiana-Lafayette.
Make sure you check out Gilbert Williams Field, we got some ballers. 4 star Safety Noa Pola-Gates who ran a 4.4 40 as a Junior and 3 star tackle Noah Nelson who's a 6'7 310 lb Junior
John glen is a division 2 school in Michigan. The division 1 schools are cass tech , Martin Luther king , renaissance , but you have to test to get in those schools ...
I ain’t taking nothing away from the 5 star, but do u see the qbs he’s playing against and what they be throwing, they are not smart not going through their reads, rushing the passes and throwing behind, I can’t wait to see what he does against good offenses
