He was a 5* QB in the c/o 2025 before reclassifying to the c/o 2024 and committing to LSU. He was re-ranked a 3* (definitely has to work on accuracy and footwork in the pocket) but he is an early enrollee and will be 16 when he steps foot on campus in January so he is extremely young for his class. He also plays HS football in FL, not LA.

Think of also having the elite talent to go beyond that. I don't know how long you have been following recruiting, but after following some of these guys for so long you start to realize the ones that can't fail. Like, injuries would have to take them out. I saw it with Bryce Young when he was on the IE Ducks (before high school ball). I saw it with Tua when he was a sophomore in high school (this is way before they committed to Bama). Saw it with Leonard Fournette as a freshman in high school, saw it with ,Richard Young when he was an 8th grader (this kid is now currently a senior in high school and a 5 star). Saw it with Deshuan Watson as a high school junior, Devin White as a high school junior (he was listed as a RB, but most us LSU fans knew he would dominate at LB), saw it with Cam Robinson, saw it with Justin Fields, BEFORE he was on QB One. Saw it with Derrius Guice as a sophomore. Saw it with Jamal Adams, etc, etc, etc. Anyway, you'll see eventually, but you won't remember I told you.
