With the NIL money and the portal these guys will take the biggest school they are offered with no concern whether they can make it. Knowing they can just enter the portal and not have to sit out a year.
Coach Prime will know if the young man handle the pressure of being at JSU. He would need to talk to people at JSU to make him feel comfortable and know this is a life choice where ever you decide to matriculate!

Demond Demas, while getting playing time at Texas A&M, was NOT an immediate impact. I knew with time he would rise. He has been away from football for almost two years now. Hopefully he'll get back in the classroom and onto the field. I followed Camron Buckley (1) and Antonio Doyle (22) this season, both of whom were former Aggies, now at Jackson State. I was happy to follow Jackson State as Coach Jimbo Fisher stopped preparing for games this year. I wish for only the best for Mr. Demas.
Your title a bit much. Why are you trying to create friction and insecurity between alleged future teammates? We don't have to bash Travis to praise this young man for his abilities, especially when they are allegedly in the near future supposed to be contributing to the same team

When I first heard people say that Deion was a great recruiter, I agreed whole heartedly. Now after closer examination, I find myself questioning that popular notion. Here's why. *#1 Deion has only recruited one (1) five star in his recruiting history.* Travis Hunter was a unique case and the perfect candidate. Like Deion he also plays cornerback. Like Deion he plays on both sides of the ball. Like Deion he loves the spotlight. Like Deion he is driven by being number one, not just being good. Finally, like Deion he wanted to maximize his NFL potential. So why wouldn't he want to be coached by his mirror image, the number one corner to ever do it, an NFL Hall of Famer who just so happens to be his favorite player? Deion couldn't possibly mess that up. *#2 He hasn't demonstrated that he can consistently land and develope top recruits out of high school.* Kevin Coleman is second only to Travis Hunter in terms of top high school recruits on the JSU roster. We have already examined Hunters unique situation. Coleman's addition was of his own choosing based mainly on Hunter's decision. Very little effort was needed. He was basically a gift. No other high school recruit has proven to be elite other than Shedeur who we know came with the hiring of his father. Shedeur aside, all of JSU's first team all SWAC players the past 2 seasons with the exception of one came via the transfer portal. *#3 He is overly dependent on the transfer portal.* While the portal is a good place to visit, it can become a false sense of security if you live there. It is not the best indicator of how well someone can recruit. Most players are in the portal because they could not crack the starting lineup at their previous school. At this point, they are competing with hundreds of other athletes for a landing place. They need someone to take them in. It doesn't always take great recruiting skills to get them since they do not want to sit out a season. Sometimes you just need to be the first to offer. *#4 He has not proven that he can land quality white players via the highschool route or the portal.* Why is this important? Let's be honest, many if not most of the top linemen are caucasian. This holds true for college and the pros. Trench play is essential to winning. Deion used the black culture experience narrative to attract black players to JSU, which is fine. However, by using this method, he was leaving a lot on the table by placing himself in a box. It goes without saying that this will not work in the FBS or any non HBCU league. *In conclusion,* I think that before he can be branded as a "great" recruiter, some things have to change in his methodology, certainly if he is to be a success at the FBS level. It's a totally different animal from the SWAC!

It only means that you did something well one time. Nick Saban and Kirby Smart are great recruiters because they consistently produce great classes. Greatness is measured over an extended period of time. Deion was a great cornerback because he had many great seasons over his 14-year career. Nick Foles, Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer all won "a" Superbowl, but neither of them were great quarterbacks. They had a great moment. What Deion does during his tenure at the FBS level will determine whether he is a great recruiter.
Stop it. Jackson couldn’t even beat Vanderbilt. I love what Deion is doing. But they aren’t ready to beat teams in the sec, no matter what players they pick up.

Well everybody was deserve a chance in life I mean the Bible tell us that we have to forgive I think it's like 77 times over and who are we anyway because the Bible also says not one is good we all have filthy rags so who are we to say how many chances of person deserve it's in the hands of the Lord so everybody got something going on in there life or had or have so let's not be judgmental but yeah he does deserve another chance🙏
