My personal favorite is the immersive Shane mod. It gives him more cutscenes, continues developing his relationship with Jas after you and he are married, and also makes him not like alcohol after the cliff incident, so that way he’s not literally destroying all the progress he made

I'm from Hungary, and I'm so happy to see the traditional clothes in a stardew valley mod. Hungary is a kinda small country, and it just adds to my happiness about the clothes. They were so perfect, like- AAAAAAAAA

The bridal wear mod can be paired with the modder's other works, which are specific wedding outfits for each marriageable character and have different cultural influences!! You can match whichever cultural bridal wear your partner's wearing, it's so cute

I felt so awkward when Alex had given up on going pro and just became a farmer (or just hung out at home). It honestly made me almost not pursue any of the bachelors or bachelorettes cuz it really made me feel bad.

I love the Date Night mod!!! kinda wish every spouse had a special date since the dates can get repetitive pretty fast but they're still really cute and make me love my spouse more :) also just downloaded the Immersive Spouses mod last night, can't wait to try it!

hungarian person here! o/ it's so cool to see some traditional clothes modded into Stardew! the modder did an amazing job with it, the corset and crown are perfect, however I'm kinda sad there isn't an outfit for grooms

it'd be fun if there was a black heart mod, were you could get the villiagers to hate you and run you out of town or mess with your progress Like if you get Clint to hate you, it'd take longer to make iron hoe and the like, he won't buy from you or cheats you out of the full price, maybe you'll find a monster or two from the caves in your house cause he put it there. And like each villiager has a different ability when enough hearts go black. Haley can gossip

I have the possessive Sebastian mod. He’s a bit stalker ish and a bit too obsessed with you but I’m kinda here for it. And some of his lines after marriage are so spicy/suggestive it always throws me off (in a good way) but there’s plenty of wholesome cute things too. Got me back into stardew tbh

I don’t like incel Clint. I liked how he was just kind of an introverted guy. I thought it was cool how there was the detail that he liked Emily, but just didn’t know how to tell her. I want a mod where you can help him build his confidence, maybe be his wingman for asking out Emily. Maybe eventually seeing them get married.

another good romance mod is a mod called life cycle it makes it so after you get married someone else marries another person for example Sebastian Might Marry Abigail

Free Love and Hugs and Kisses are a great combination, they really help make the polycule feel like there're more relationships here than just you x everyone.

This isn't specifically a romance mod, but the ridgeside village mod adds what became my favorite thing. On the day of your wedding(the npc that allows you to do so doesn't arrive until the first day of year 2, so keep that in mind), you can have a post-wedding reception and on subsequent years, you can schedule an anniversary party.

The traditional clothes are so good!!! I'm Jewish, and the "Tallit suit" is a detail of the groom's outfit in a Jewish wedding. Downloading now for my next save file. It's awesome to see so many cultures honored. They're all gorgeoussss omg

I find Penny as the most perfect spouse ever. She helps around the farm, she still teaches the kids in the town, and overall always has something encouraging to say.

I downloaded this AI chat mod on Nexus. It lets you chat with NPCs using AI generated responses but it actually stays relevant to the actual dialogue of the character, great for spicing up your marriage or just having a convo with your fav NPC. 100% recommend!

It interests me how so many people say that most of the spouses "gave up on their dreams" when that's not actually the case for most of them - Sebastian initially wanted to go to the city but as of his 10-heart event, he's perfectly content to stay with you at the farm. His marriage dialogue implies that he still does his programming job (and can do so without his mom judging him) - Sam's 14-heart event is literally him still pursuing his dream of being a musician, he just has to start out small by making music for kids shows first. imo it's pretty realistic - Harvey's content with being the town doctor since he came to terms with giving up on his dream of being a pilot ages ago - Shane's dream of passing down his chickens to Jas isn't down the drain since he still goes to visit Marnie's ranch to see Jas - Abigail still goes out to explore since you can run into her down in the mines, and this is supported by her 14-heart event since it implies that she always brings her sword around - Penny still teaches the kids - Haley and Emily don't express any ambitions in particular, only wishing to pursue their respective hobbies (fashion and photography) more, which they do when they're married to you - Leah was content to live in the valley to begin with, so her moving in with you after marriage is a win-win since she essentially gets a bigger art studio - Maru still works on her gadgets when she's married with you and is happier if anything since Demetrius wouldn't be breathing down both of your necks As far as I know, the only one who gives up on pursuing his dream is Alex. Everyone else is either pretty much content with where they are or are still making strides towards their goals, so it's always confused me how certain players are scared of marriage because of how it 'restricts' the bachelor/bachelorette that they pursue. Hell, marrying them actively makes their life better because they're even more free to do what they want. Again, I just feel bad for Alex fans because all he gets post-marriage is having to be content with just watching football at the back of the saloon with the boys every now and then

So, i got a story. A few years back i used to play this Stardew Valley rip off called Harvest Town, it wasn't that good of a game, it had a lot of aspects that could use some polishing and it was ridden with annoying time events and microtransactions. But, to this day, there is something about that game that i remember fondly and that was the fact that you could give a love letter to any of the bachelors or bachelorets. That love letter would alow you to pick from 1 out of 4 different kinds of dates and each date will make you gain a significant amount of hearts with the bachelor or bacheloret you piked. There were 4 diferent kinds of date that would unlock depending of how many hearts you had with a character. The was a date were you could go to the beach and other to a bar (I think there were some specific tipes of dates for some specific character, but i am not so sure). This dates were very well made, they allowed you to met the character better and they were probably the most stethicly pleasing sienes of the game. Also, you couls have this dates even if you werent dating a specific character. Sadly, i never got to experience the third or fourth date of any character given the fact that they were nerver added to the game. And also, to had insult to injury, the creators then proceded to lunch an update were they buchered all of the great characters desings. I deleted the game shortly after, i couldn't take the uglines of it all. So yea, if any of you are wandering why did i tell this story, it is because i feel like it would be really cool and also cute if something like that could be added to base game of Stardew Valley. Why the base game? It's because im stuck playing the game on mobile (Which you can't mod as far as i am aware off) since my computer is at least 17 years old and would explode if i even dared to install anything close to video game. For the immersive Spouses mod, Emily didn't do anything different. Thats her usual schedule after you marry her. She visits her house, stands by the river and on mondays, she still goes to work at the Saloon just to help Gus because shes such a sweetheart. Im totally not biased.
