I have the 90 day journal and it has been a game changer for me. As I'm writing goals and objectives for the day, it helps me stay on track and not forget what I originally intended to do. For anyone considering if the journal is worth having, in my opinion, it really is. I will definitely be buying more of those 90 day journal. Thanks Gabe!
Love your videos and the way you present makes everything seem achievable thank you. My goal for 90 days is to launch a side hussle to my main business and master Facebook advertising as part of the process.
It took me 6 years, but I found my path. I wanted to move to warm and friendly Spain from cold Sweden. I tried different online jobs to support myself (Im 50 plus, its time!) but finally found a full time, well paid job via a connection I made from these temporary jobs I had. After my children were grown, I actually re-invented myself. It is possible, we just need to be a bit stubborn 😊
I'm quite envious, I've already reskilled into completely different industries 4 times in my 20s, only to hit burnout then finding out I'm autistic and ADHD in my early 30s. By the time I was at least able to get out of bed again without being completely exhausted I decided to move somewhere cold because I can't function where it's hot but now I'm unable to get work visa's due to age and unable to find any type of work that is suitable for my brain. I hate this planet so much. Here's to your success! 🥂
I recently realized I needed to do something to feel more energetic. After telling my father that I have felt sluggish, he suggested maybe I wasn’t eating enough protein. I did some research, and sure enough, I was eating less than 1/2 the protein I need as a 65 year old woman. So my 90-day goal is to increase my protein every day and record my intake and already I am feeling so much more stable, just being on day 3. I am excited to see what happens to my body over the next three months. Thanks for your thoughtful video, Gabe.
I'm happy that you re-invented yourself, bought rental properties that generate income, have a paid gig on RU-vid, and all before 30 years old! If I was your mom, I'd be really proud of you. I'm winding down to retirement. I anticipate living off my 401K, annuity, brokerage account and Social Security. Right now, I'm paying off debt and trying to save cash. I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing!
My 90 day goal is to quit smoking (again! 🤦) and start walking OUTSIDE daily. The last couple years have been an emotional rollercoaster with shut downs, in turn losing our business and then losing my mom to illness, all while taking care of a large family. With quitting smoking I will find myself trying to keep busy, with that will come the decluttering. I've been in a rut for far too long now. I have put myself and my goals on the back burner to just struggle to make it through every day. I'm ready to get out of this rut and I think I can do 90 day goals. Loving the content here, keep up the good work! The first video I found got my sub.....you said "if you think you have too much stuff, you probably have too much stuff" 😂 so simple and so true!
Gonna stop too with smoking 1 October. And and i wish you goodluck and i want to say We can Both do it 🙏🏻 We can Do It ❤ Sincerely Greetings From Mr: Red
I do love your videos; I discovered them today and, at 60 yo, studying a major and unemployed (besides being diabetic and having severe Asperger and Lyme disease); what I do, every single day of my life is trying to ReInvent myself and struggle to make it. Congratulations for your content. Greetings from Mexico, my country and where I have always lived.
do you have a daughter who reads the Nancy Drew books I see in your shelf? That is a most desired book in my literacy efforts in Malawi Africa where rural schools often have no books at all much less a library! Appreciate your videos. Early in our 55 yr marriage I found my JOB became making his income go twice if not three times as far. What a difference it made in our lives over the years. Self examination or assessment must be the first step. Spot on. At first we had 1 yr, 5 yr, and 10 year goals. Now as a widow I have one week, one month and l year goals. Experimentation has always been the most intimidation but wonderful part! As you said 'some times it works sometimes it don't' but the journey is terrific!
Before I started my writing business, I truly felt stuck. Afterward, however, I feel energized and motivated. Thanks for all you do, Gabe! You've inspired me!
Realize that TV and social media sells you a false image of what makes people happy. Play the averages. 1) Graduate high school 2) Get a skill that gives you a real job with benefits (health insurance and 401k) 3) After getting skill from #2 through college, trade school, self taught or... GET THE JOB! 4) Set a realistic goal of finding Mr/Mrs right, someone who shares your values and isn't a total loser who is just "fun". 5) Find God (this is actually #1, but didn't want to turn people off). 6) Have some hobbies that help you recharge. Good luck, do these and you most likely will never have to keep re-inventing yourself...
It's the #3 that's the hardest and you find out it's not what you know or the skills you have that count, it's who you know. Also, there are always factors out of your control that can affect you directly.😮 You can have the best job, be the best employee but get laid off because the company wants to downsize or your boss wants to cheat on his wife and gets mad at her so lays off all of the folks she manages or because of..I don't know...a pandemic. Those are the things you don't have control over. But those are also the things that can ruin your finances in a heartbeat. Yes, yes..I know I sound bitter but things aren't as simple as you are stating them here.
@@lilypuddI’m sorry - it sure sounds like you are speaking from experience. I had a similar one from a church position, no less. Dont let it get you down for long. You can do better- I believe that! Best of luck!
Loved this video (and most others you have done). Definitely will watch it again! I am in this place at 57 years old where I want to make a career change that excites me! This video has encouraged me even more. Thank you 😊 your Northern neighbor 😀🇨🇦
I'm right there with you @amarshall8992. I am 57 as well and wondering what I am going to do going forward. This video is what I needed TODAY to get re-motivated.
Gabe this whole video spoke to my soul, I think I'm not creative or a great manifested but I am challenging that preconception, when I look back at the moments I took the steps to learn about something got excited and then chose to do it made mistakes and then tried to make amends . The times when get out of my comfort zone is when I feel vulnerable but its without doubt when I learnt the most. We all each and everyone of us can create a life of meaning and of beauty we just have to really consider who we are and what we want xxx bless you
I heard this statement a few years ago and reiterate it to myself daily. A goal without a plan is just a wish. Thank you for your content. Btw, I have had completely gray hair since 35... I agree with your habits video... don't color and be yourself.
The 90 day goals can be game-changers for a lot of us. I did something similar a few years ago and it led me to building a few habits that I still do to this day. Thanks for the video Gabe!
90 day goals sounds like a great idea. With that in mind one goal I would like to work towards is my blood sugar. - Keep sugar levels below 200 after meals and Keep sugar levels below 100 when fasting.
I paused at half a minute in to comment. I admire your attitude and how you deliver information. This topic is one that I have been wrestling with lately. There is no 'magic pill' to unlearn past ways; and adopt better ones. It is a grind. Any progress is to be celebrated. Hopefully, I will gain at least one good insight from this video. I usaully do on your channel.
This is a great video. It’s kind of like having the white belt mentality and looking for opportunities to learn and grow every day. You may meet people or find information that can give you a foundation upon which you build and rise to new levels that you would never be able to reach if you hadn’t found the first information. I also like your videos about organization and minimizing as I feel it brings better peace, and goodness to your life. Have a great week.
Great video! My 90 day goal is do 2 gym workouts a week. I'm investing in a PT from Monday, to get over my anxiety of working out how to use the equipment 😅
I don’t think you have ever broken down how you did your goals or maybe I just needed to “hear and understand “ this time in my life! Loved the content. Thank you!
After 9 months or so of running 5k every 2 days I decided to work up to 10k by the end of March. The 90 days started about 6 weeks ago. I'm on track to do it. Running 7k this week and 7.5k next week.
Great video!!! Yes, I love how reinventing ourselves gives us the opportunity to grow and learn new things, meet diverse people, gain new perspectives so we can continue to move forward and not settle. I will start practicing the 90-day goals concept that you mentioned. Totally enjoyed your video!!! 💕
This is a favorite already. I will watch it four or five more times today because i have a decision to make between two good careers. 1 Status and Money 2 Status and serving. I feel guilted into one kinda.
That always good to do. I don’t mean don’t ignore the facts in your choices but what I am saying is do what you truly will be happy with 15 years down the line. Don’t think about how it will be 6 months or a couple years down the road. If these careers are what you are gonna do forever, you might as well choose what makes you happy. Last thing you want is to regret how you spent half your life or more on a simple bad decision just because you were chasing “Status or Money” money has to be in the equation but don’t revolve everything around that one thing
I also am not sure what you mean by status. The only status I think of is what others think of you and if its that kind of status you cannot put that in your equation of which career you wanna choose. Its your career think about what YOU want to do
@@XanderWorden I am actually more happy hanging out yet need a challenge. Mega bucks would be a nice start but I would still need to do something besides spend and travel. Building into others makes me happy and both careers offer this. I need more knowledge and info, does it line up with my values and who I am is what I'm thinking. Pros and cons too.
90 day goal (actually about 30 days in, so, 60 day goal) - finish organizing my music resources. I'm two years into retirement and have pretty much developed what my music work in this chapter will be/is. So I can give away tons of resources to others who are starting out as a professional musician or as a music teacher. I'm saving only what I truly love... because that's primarily what I use now. And I'm still earning my way 🙂🎶
Thank you for the encouragement to try new things as well as to risk failure, or just try things that we are interested in but might not necessarily be good at. We don’t have to be good at something in order to learn or benefit from it. Awesome message.
What fantastic and motivating content truly appreciate all the hard work you put in your videos as you continue to provide value more than you know. Thank you
I started my own business a few months ago, building software and AI apps. Your videos help me be so intentional with the direction I'm going in business and in life!
One of my goals is to write a book on how to Care for your house plants. I've been working in the plant industry for around 12 years now. And even though i'm glad that i can help People when they come into the store to buy a plant. I want to be able to reach more People. Also 1 of my goals is to buy my dream house. Wich is very expensive. But it keeps me motivated to keep working to get it.
Thank you, Gabe. I am probably your biggest supporter from Johannesburg, South-Africa. You are really an inspiration for me. I have a bucket list of books from your recommendations to read this year and to incorporate 90 day goals to combine it. I used to be so organized, but it all changed after I had Covid. I am following you tips and advice to slowly get my life back.
I really enjoyed this video. Fear has been a real thing for me which is why I keep watching videos like this to help push me to do what scares me. Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge you’ve learned along your own journey. You’re one of my favorite RU-vidrs. 😊
I love this! Self assessment and small goal setting helps us see what is triggering our dopamine. Learning to reprogram our brain and integrate habits to support the things that get us where we want to be. Thank you for always putting out such helpful impactful empowering content!
🎉🎉wow Gabe, you just helped me get through the mental fog I was having in regards what the year 2024 would be for me! I realized that I have some things in common with you in regards to approaching life goals! I’m glad I have found in you an example of someone can be successful and happy not following the status quo! Ultimately happiness is doing what you want, whenever you want, surrounded with love and those you 💗! I’m going to try your suggestions in the methods to achieve consistency in the pursuit of happiness!
I started a 90 day goal on February 12th, and my goal is to lose 50-60 pounds. I’m down 6 pds. Seeing the way I sabotage myself has been interesting so had to add therapy to the mix. Great video as always.
My 90-day goal is to launch my RU-vid channel! I have recorded the first video, still need to create the channel and a thumbnail. Thank you for the motivation!🎉
Just wondering when the next upload is and few minutes later on RU-vid here we go! Oh by the way, thanks for the thoughts shared on the email list today
It's generally just Saturday mornings but I've been creating a bunch of content recently and got to share it! Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it
I'm so stuck right now. Such a horrible place to be❤ i need to travel alone to kick start a new life that i dream of but have lost so much confidence being a stay at home mum.
90 DAY GOAL: Move from Kuala Lumpur( were I currently live) back to the US. Visit family in California. Buy an affordable mobile home in Prescott, AZ, start saving to buy a lot so I can build a real pinned-to-a-foundation home for my retirement. Hey, I'm nothing if not ambitious!
I've been on a savings kick this last month. Cut bills and canceled unused subscriptions. About $200 a month. Now I'm looking for how to invest this extra money. Here is my question for you: As a teacher with a pension of about 40-65% at retirement and with no debt except a 2.25% 15 year mortgage. How should I invest my money extra money. In general, how would having a government pension change your investment calculations?
Summary: When you feel you have hit the bottom, and you need to re-Invent yourself, do these: 1) Do a self-assessment. Find your passions, find your Whys, find what needs to change. 2) Set goals. Set 1 new goal (S.M.A.R.T.) every 90 days. 3) Be obsessed about learning about a topic every 90 days in order to build new skills. 4) Experiment. Try doing something new that is hard/uncomfortable that you will likely fail at. It will give you valuable experiences. 5) Network with people. Get out and interact with people and learn from it.
Bro. Take a break. Rest and heal a bit. We will be here when you get back. Passive income is just that. Take a break....you need it and i can see that.
Thank you. I'm actually going to be taking a break and my first actual time off in the next couple weeks I don't think I've had more than one or two days off in the past few years
People don’t want to work anymore. They want to start work late to take their kids to school and then stop early to pick them up. Go to the office? You mean you want me to go to the office? Well then how will I run errands during the day. It used to be that going to the office was the norm and people would expect to work 40 hours per week. The ambitious people would work 65 to 70 hours per week. Now people don’t want to work 30 hours per week. The easier life gets, the bar for what is hard decreases. This makes it easy for me to kick ass, because I am competing against all these people who don’t want to work, and spend their time thinking about being the next RU-vidr sensation. There is endless opportunity right now for people who want to work hard and be a good person. We are so spoiled in the US and take for granted that we get to go to a job. Attack life with enthusiasm and be grateful for the abundance of opportunity we have in this country. That’s the best way to start…
I am so sad it's already 3 moths of 2024 but my life still the same eventhough I did some new exciting habits, maybe just because I want a big change to move to other place, city or country .. and I don't know to change it 😁
OUR DECISIONS DESIGN OUR LIVES Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? (Romans 6:16 ESV)
Hi Gabe, love your videos 👍, always looking forward to new ones. I have a different problem, that starts before the action plan. I'm 46 and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up 😶. I'm capable to learn just about anything but no passion really (except for reading), no IT thing. Any help with that? Greetings from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿
This may sound like a silly question but why do so many minimalist content creators use pour over coffee makers?… thanks. I love your channel. Shared it with my adult kids
How, how? With 24/7 care for two kids with a chromosome triplication , how? You have to have thoughts on this. You could help so, so many other special parents, even with all of our pain that I know is hard to touch. I just can’t help thinking this on your videos like this, for obvious reasons.
