Hi there Ive made video on my car lift installation and review and its quiet handy as my model is 2 post H base and only needs 4 inch concrete. Check it out as it might be quiet helpful. It includes things like where to fit it, how to check concrete, how to lift post up, connect everything and adjust the cables. its a single phase lift, but also comes in 3 phase model. My one is in UK.

Will a 18000 capacity still go under a small car. I have massive trucks but need it to still fit under low vehicles

Thanks for the question. the XPR-18CL has a minimum height (with lift pad) of 5 inches, so that would be the clearance needed for smaller vehicles. Remember that the capacity is relative to the curb weight - not the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). You may find that a smaller lift will in fact accommodate both your trucks and be a better fit for the smaller vehicles in your fleet. What lift do you recommended for Sprinters, Transits and Rammaster Vans?

Unfortunately, due to the fact that those vans can be outfitted a number of ways and shift drastically in weight, we wouldn't be able to make a recommendation without much more information. Remember that the weight referred to when choosing a lift is the vehicles curb weight and not the GVWR. Once you have that information, you can decide which lift is appropriate for you.
