Dr., can you please advise me? Under my jaw, half way between my chin and ear, is a tiny bump on my skin which I thought was a pimple. It looks like a whitehead pimple, just about the size of a penpoint, but when I poked it with a needle, a little blood came out rather than any pus. I don't think it's an ingrown hair, a blackhead, or keratin, but I'm not sure what else it might be. It doesn't hurt, but it didn't stop bleeding until I applied sustained pressure. For now I applied some alcohol and a bandage to cover it. There are very few Dermatologists in this area, and the wait to see my family Doctor in person now approaches 3 months due to Covid restrictions in their office! If you could please make some suggestions of the names of what sort of tiny white bumps could appear on facial skin I'll do more research before deciding what type of Doctor to visit. If I go to the incorrect Doctor it may total up to 5-6 months to get to the correct one! Thank you!
