i dont know why I wouldnt believe these birds exist. i own some of these birds and its not just the roosters that are "unbelievable", its the whole breed itself.
“There are chickens that are great for egg laying” *Shows silkie* I’m sorry have you ever met a silkie before? I also facepalmed at aracauna, because the title is roosters you will not believe exist, Roosters don’t lay eggs... You should really be more educated on the topics you speak about. This is the third edit I’ve had to make about this video.. the one with the long tail is called a Phoenix Chicken, not whatever you called it.
Maddy 248 the onagadori is a breed of Japanese long tailed chicken, like the Japanese Ohiki. The Phoenix chicken is the German variation of a long tailed chicken, it’s main ancestor is the Onagadori.
thank u !!! I don't find Silkies to be great egg layers at all- but I did hear that they're suitable for hatching chicks[females though, so the rooster side shouldnt really speak of it?] aND i don't know if it's just our silkies, but I absolutely despise them? They all[3, 2 boys 1 girl] like to attack any other chickens we have and are generally very mean n dumb. GHJDK i'd put the calm one on the Polish cause ? we have a young Polish rooster [either them or the Polish Houdan] and they're both so calm n sweet [OR TURKINS/NAKED NECKS !! THEY'RE FANTASTIC] but i really agree about this. This didn't give many facts about the roosters side, and more of the breed itself.
Your silkies are odd, I've had 12 silkies and all of them have been absolute sweethearts. Only one has been feisty towards humans, and one other beat up a rooster while co-mothering chicks. They're usually very passive.
@@elliot6913 thats very strange, ive had 4 (technically 2, the other 2 were my friends that I was helping her raise) and they have all been absolute sweet hearts, so much so that the other chickens would take advantage if the other hens kindness. The only mean things our roosters ever did was peck and attack our other hens when they would "babysit" my hens
SupeЯaptor The Dino of Gaming I had two naked necks not at the same time though. my first one was named naked neck and the second one was named vulture. we had to sell naked neck because we had to move to another house and we couldn't bring her with us. and vulture got ate buy a raccoon.
Wow I was shocked you've picked my video of Polverara from my chicken channel! I am flattered! But I must say that the farmers here in Italy are divided about Polverara and Padovana chicken. They come from the same city of Padova. Some say it is the same breed. I am not sure and will let the experts to decide. Cheers!
Hopefully I'm still alive or all the species are still around when i get older... I've always dreamed of having a big huge lot to have chickens, dogs, plants, a fish pond, and birds to care for
I have easter egger chickens which are bred from americuanas and chickens which lay lots of eggs. The end result are chickens which lay lots blue-green eggs. They’re also pretty sweet almost like a dog.
I have 4 Onagadori hens, their tail feathers are about 1 foot + I had a roo, but couldn't keep him where I am living, so my grandpa has him. he is a black-breasted golden, and his tail feathers are about 3 feet in length. :)
I've seen all of those before in my small town. All except number three. People have them as pets. They can also be seen at different nature establishments and fairs.
Polish chicken most likely came with Mongols to Europe to Poland. Later on they were exported to Germany and from there they reached the Netherlands, were they got standarized, late in their history.
