Since pillager mansions can't spawn in the pale gardens because pillagers are afraid of the creaking, it removes entire possible structures in the world which could have been explored by the players. So I really think that there should be an equivalent exchange here. They probably wouldn't add the mansion since pillagers are afraid to build there, but a smaller but more common structure could be nice.
What would be interesting as a rare naturally generated structure for the Pale Forest is something more akin to a Stonehenge or stone gazebo-like ruin, slightly overgrown by pale moss and a touch of glow-lichen, underneath which suspicious gravel can generate. additionally, allays could spawn naturally around it rather than being found exclusively imprisoned in illager/pillager structures.
All around great concepts for potential structures for the pale forest. I appreciate that you kept the detail of the builds around the same as other structures in game and didn't include blocks that could look cool in the build, but be really OP to be lootable from a smaller structure. My favorites were definitely the mausoleum and the haunted mansion. If I were to add onto them I think that the gravel graves could have suspicious gravel 1-2 layers underneath them and that could contain the loot within them. Great work! (^-^)
I think the Root Cavern would work the best with what Mojang's trying to do with the Pale Gardens. Maybe tweak it a bit so that the stump itself is full of Creaking Hearts, so the player has some sort of challenge in getting in.
Dope, feel like they should add a few new mobs and change the creaking's damage, this biome gives a 70’s/80’s television vibe, these would all be amazing additions to the biome!
Mate, the creaking is meant to be a gang stalker, not warden 2 electric boogaloo. It's meant to be a strength in numbers type mob, not something that there should only be one of at any given time.
Great vid again ✨ heres my idea for a Pale Garden structure: Imagine, deep within the biome, a sunken hole in the shape of an eye. Tree branches lean down into the hole, as if the ground beneath them have collapsed, exposing their roots and obscuring the hole from above, besides the shape of a pupil. After you find a way down, dropping deep into the hole, in every direction an infinite, flat, ever-stretching cave grins with a sea of tree roots obscuring your vision, completely enshrouded in darkness. Sticking out of the ground, monuments in the shape of eyes, made in mossy stone bricks, hide between the branches, full of ancient artefacts and alluding to an ancient civilisation dating back to the ancient builders of the past. Dotted across the floor, sunken holes lay littered with sharp dripstone spikes, as if the floor from above and below are near collapse, yet just manage to stay in shape by the roots stretching from floor to ceiling. From the hole, a distant light can be spotted through the undergrowth, a beacon in the undergrowth. A bright light 💡 guiding you towards the centre of a temple, the light sandwiched between a piilar stretching from the roof of the cave to the centre of the temple. The structure itself asymmetrical in shape and cloaked in grey vines, ruined by decay and infested with The Creaking of darkness
These are really creative, i love all these concepts and i hope Mojang would take inspiration, the best part is how well you replicated the Minecraft structure build style
Definitely a fan of the house. I reckon combining it with the sanctuary structure would work pretty well. I also had a random thought. I think making the Creaking Heart only mineable with a Netherite axe could probably help make the creaking a bit more difficult to get rid of. It could make exploring these structures more challenging if you find one early on.
Hey, a structure that at first sight seems like a random green house, but the outside has some cool implications that maybe, just maybe, it's a infection to all and it infected you already. Making it so that you have to find a cure, but it's in a giant labyrinth of caves, ancient structures, and living flesh, and it's not going to be easy due to the living flesh. The living flesh intentionally closes off random tunnels and later opens them at random times to disoriente you, a brand new mob called The Searcher. A giant and far creepier version of the creaking, and it's fast. The only way to provoke it is to be caught in the light coming straight through the eyeball. And oh boy, it's fast and extremely deadly. It doesn't matter how much health you have, one hit and you are immediately killed. Also in the labyrinth, stealth is your one and COMPLETELY ONLY method of getting away, because this thing can hear you talk into the mic or walk. Also it should be the first mob to have a animation when it kills you. Also you can only get into it by going into the structure, and well the entrance is where the two lights that shine through the eyeball colored and shaped windows, also once you get the cure, a animation plays where the player stabs it into their arm which now looks like a creeking's arm, and then it turns back to normal. Also yes, the cure is craftable only to you if you inject it into yourself for the first time.
I think this biome should have witchy structures, like different abandonet huts, abandoned villages, ritual circles, extra large trees with multiple creaking hearts, dried up wells, and there should be mud in this biome
I think the sanctuary could include a block that prevents mobs from spawning or entering its proximity. It can only be mined by a netherite pickaxe (or maybe not minable at all) and is fueled by various light sources.
Woah I was just thinking about a giant tree stump or tree that looks like the origin of the moss. Right now, the biome just look random and out of place, but a centerpiece or multiple, would make it look more natural in my opinion
I shared this idea on the Feedback discord and it was an Abandoned Greenhouse. My take on this is that I researched on what a Garden is and is defined as a place where you grow stuff. So, the lore implications here is that the Illagers from the Woodland Mansions tried to plant specific new plants as part of their experiment until something went wrong with one of their pale oak saplings they tried to plant in this place. It got out of hand and they decided to bail on the project, and what remains is the current Pale Garden taking hold on a part of the Dark Forest. Edit: As for loot, it could be items that were remnants of the experiment. I really wanted it to drop from Greenhouse Vaults as a way of saying this is a secret project that they don't want anyone to get their hands on.
I think the mausoleum, or the root cavern would be the best since most of it is underground and pale gardens tend to be small. (The one in the video was probably from a single-biome customized world).
These builds are all really cool, but they make me think you don't quite understand how the creaking works. Every individual creaking mob is connected to its own creaking heart, and every creaking heart can only summon one creaking, so having a structure with a challenge to protect one doesn't make any sense, especially the second one with the room full of creakings and the final one with the creaking spawners. If they're not connected to a creaking heart, they'll just have one health and will disappear for good as soon as it's day time. That or they just won't spawn at all. Also, the particles that appear with you attack a creaking will show you where the creaking heart is, so there is no "looking through the forest of trees until you happen to find the right one."
Thank you; I'm glad you like the builds! Regarding the hearts, things can always be switched up seeing as it's an early snapshot 🙂 And even with the particles it took me a while to find some of the hearts as the forests are so dense lol
I was thinking that this could be a nice opportunity to add the Illusioner to the pale forest Maybe add a structure similar to the witch hut and the Illusioner could function as a male ver of the witch, a wizard or warlock of sort. And since one of Illusioner abilities is casting blindness on players, it would be deadly when combine with the Creakings. As well as its ability to form fake duplicates that could make u lose focus and divert your gaze for Creaking to move into u.
Im thinking more about the lore and how it makes sense. All Illagers are afraid of the Creaking, and the Pale Garden is a variant of the Dark Oak Forest where the Illagers live in Mansions, so its likely the Pale Garden and Creaking are some sort of experiment gone wrong by them hence why they run away from it. Thus I dont think it makes sense for a proper structure to be in the biome like it was build AFTER the corruption, what makes more sense could be like a ground zero situation, some sort of old Illager lab entirely haunted and desertet. Or smaller corruption patches by the biome like your last Idea and the biome corrupting the ecosystem.
Or it could be used as protection like in dungeons and ancient cities they used monster as protection so a mob hated illager used the fact that they are scared of the creaking as protection
I think it would be cool if the structure was like the jungle temple or ancient city in that it has a redstone puzzle in it, maybe using the creaking heart's redstone interactions? Like a hidden door opens letting you access the creaking heart if you lure a creaking close to the door. It would use the fact that a comparator outputs a stronger signal the closer a creaking is to the heart it's next to or something like that... Now I kinda want to go build a door that works like that!😅
I really liked the root caven, it would be so awesome if you could use those to find caves, not just the small ones but bigger caves that you could have easy access to
These are all awesome, but I'd have to say the castle was my favorite, with the haunted house being a close second. You should put this on some feedback page for minecraft.
For that garden where the creeking can’t get you maybe have it be like holy land or something that’s been blessed by a god or goddess or maybe the spirit of a past victim of the creekings that was a powerful wizard or potion master and they used thier skills to make a safe haven as they took their last breath so future victims could have a safe place. Please do a part 2 and for an idea maybe build a haunted house or a different version of the woodland mansion or something similar and if you do the haunted house maybe have the creeking heart as the power source for the haunted house or something. Nm about the haunted house forgot you already did one.
Wow! The new tuff blocks work so well with the new biome! I wish all these structures would be added but unfortunately all the vanilla structures are pretty boring... Amazing building, as usual!
While I agree that structures would make the biome a bit more interesting, I don’t think they should be tied to the Creaking, it seems pretty clear that they’re supposed to be tied to the trees, mostly in the designs of the hearts and Creaking themselves, and I think needing to find the heat hidden in a tree is much more terrifying, especially since you need to look AWAY from them to find the hearts, thus making yourself vulnerable while you try to find the heart
5:13 hollowed ground like a church. if it's holy the demonic cracking can't get in. maybe give it a timer like if you click on a protection block in the safe zone.
We still don’t know exact what made the pale garden. Is it an infection? Curse? Naturally occurring? All these can lead to very interesting structures If it’s an infection or curse then a paled mansion could be an occurring structure If it’s a naturally occurring thing then entire pillager related structures are out but I definitely feel like a lot more could occur like giant pale oak. If a stump exist another intact one could also exist.
I will tell you one thing-creakings spawned by eggs and spawners can be killed from one punch because the have 1 heart. They will be immortal only with heart
Continue Stampy's lovely world transformation or I will spam to get your attention because I want a full world transformation honestly in every place in the world from the world itself, nether, end and underground of the world. BTW love this video
I think you've misunderstood something about how the Creaking works. It's not a single heart per biome that's tied to all the Creakings. Creakings are like evil dryads. Each one is tied to a specific heart, in a specific tree.
I have the update in bedrock android. Because I am part of beta.I am not using snapshot. But I can't find the pale garden biome😶 but it does have the bundles, the creaking, and pale garden items. Idk why I got the update so early. But it's still fun! By the I am rating your structure ideas a 10000000/10👏
Ima Give these Structures Better Names, stand back Ima Cook 1. Creaky Crypt 2. Creaking Castle 3. Saturated Sanctuary (Lore because yes. The Creaking Can’t enter Because of a Magical Curse Put on the Land That drained all color from parts of a dark oak forest, also causing some of the trees to turn sentient And evil making the Creaking to defend itself, but they can’t Enter the Garden Because There Are Allays There that protect it, as well as the flowers. Idk of this makes Sense) 4. The Pale Manor (Would be cool if there were white pumpkins that spawn there) 5. Creaking Cavern Most of the names were kinda repetitive but I wanted to add names that fit the biome :|
Someone show this video to Mojang before the update releases on December I'm in the pale Garden does have good plants but it needs more make it more scary I mean it is Halloween so why not I love it so much by the way
The creeking is an ent a tree spirit its a defender of nature if a structure existed I'd say elven ruins would make sense and skulk not the warden blocks but skulk hinting at the reason the biome and the race that lived there are gone why elven because they were friends to ents in lore. So the idea of a ruin that like your build idea the sents avoid would be because of the skulk linking the skulk corruption to the over world id add it spawning a skulk cave underneath. This because of the hide and seek mob they suggested could hint to other villager like races that could be added like say dark elves who live in caves and avoid skulk and the ancient city like say in lush caves are hidden even villages but a combo of living under ground and being connected to nature and being from the forests that become the pale gardens would have the dark elves you spot in caves and mine shafts and those that connect to the lush caves being more like high elves never seen outside their hidden village. Then it'd hint the existence of dwarves as the race that built the ancient city and taught the humans Redstone as the ancient city is the deepest structure. Making them and possibly human players as responsible for their demise and the warden dwarves could then of escaped to the end or are trapped in the skulks demention . The end structures look a bit elven to me so some of them could be settled in the end. Villagers are a human like race but can become witches when hit by lightning and clearly share a history with illagers who fit the pale garden corruption skulk theory as in villagers used to be much better builders and made the mantion then the corruption reached the surface and its connection to the pale garden explains the villagers who got altered by the corruption. But I want new races of villagers anyway Like mushroom people in the mushroom biome Dwarves, elves, lizard men, beast fulk etc like there's a few fantasy mods I've used to re skin villagers but it'd be cool to have more species or races of villagers. And to link lore.like the dwarves of the ancient city would be like in Skyrim as lost to another demention this could make the villagers trade change they wanted better by linking certain books etc to different species of villagers.
