It promises to be one of the most competitive seasons yet in this league. Apart from the teams you mentioned there are several who are overdue promotion to the top division - Brackley, Chorley, Hereford and even Spennymoor. Kings Lynn seem to have turned a corner, nor would I rule out Warrington, Buxton or Scarborough from the play-off places. Kidderminster will be also a force to be reckoned with. Then there's the enigma that is South Shields... One club that have the odds stacked against them is Needham Market, for the same reason that Bishops Stortford were doomed to relegation last year before a ball was kicked. One glance at a map shows that they're in an even more unfavourable location. I hope I'm proved wrong and that they do really well.
Scunthorpe, Brackley and South Shields are my tips. My team is newly promoted Radcliffe. We were NPL Champions last season. 3 new signings and kept all our winning squad from last season. Mid-table would be good for us. Play-offs would be amazing.
