@@stix3179 I don't think you were rude. It was a reasonable assumption. Believe me, I've seen those bots. I just happen to know this one and know that he runs on chocolate milk and waffles.
1. Only fight enemies when you need their loot. 2. Always have a campfire handy 3. Find a good early ranged weapon 4. avoid open spaces 5. Always have dirt
Another good tip is if you're not ready to be attacked by Cthulhu randomly make sure you only have no more then nine total hearts or 180 total hit points because as soon as you have 200 (assuming other factors was met as well) there will be a random night were Cthulhu will spawn and attack you and if you're not ready for it you're just going to get pasted. So if you find any extra hearts just put them aside for when you're ready and then consume them all just before the fight.
One tip I have to add is to build your doors 2 blocks up from ground level. It prevents zombies and the like from walking in during a blood moon event as they have to jump to open the door, and doing so keeps them from interacting with the door.
Good one! I've thought of a few more since I made this as well. Like don't neglect potions you find, early game plant growing is important, stash money at EVERY stop home.
dude I died twice on night spawned Eye of Cthulu because I didn't get hermes boots yet. Died like 10 times on goblin army... stuff is insane and you can't beat the game with hardcore character, no way XD also use food buffs all the time and prepare pots on adventures or ANY boss... everything has to be min maxed.
Another one: Fishing is a great way to get a good pickaxe, hammer, axe and melee autoswing weapon early on. Also, the quad barrel shotgun, bought from the arms merchant in a graveyard, is a very good weapon for the eye of cthulu and eater of worlds. It is viable for queen bee aswell. Edit: When going for wooden equipment at the start: Find the nearest corruption/ crimson and chop some trees. This wood gives you the best wooden armor and weapons. Also try to craft swords out of it until you have a nice enchantment on it. I got a legendary shadewood sword and it was better than a normal iron broadsword.
Thanks this would have helped me out so much more If I find;t already start I haven't even fought my first boss yet Here's a tip I use a lot in my master mode game I use the excavator for loot because it gives you materials that you would need and gems as well not to mention it can give you a pet dinosaur too but the main reason why I use this is that it can drop tin iron lead copper gold silver platinum emeralds diamonds amethysts rubies sapphires and some more it's really handy for early game and makes what you said making tunnels a lot less harder because all you need is silt slush or fossils which are all easy to get at early game as soon as you can, It's also really easy to get all you need is to loot underground chest.
These are my tips. Go ranger first, then switch to your ideal class. (if you have a better dps weapon, use it) Dont go mining first, first look for sand, clay and materials for potions, they're cheap and they'll help you to at least not to die so early. Make dangersense potions (and as soon as you can go to the ocean, collect shark fins for hunter potions) they're there to help you, if you ignore potions you'll ignore all the dangers around a mine. Practice your grenade aiming.
i actually think wood is better than dirt, not only is it easier to get in large numbers, its also renewable, and can be turned into platforms if you ever somehow run out of rope, or into torches if you run out of those too
Here’s a tip for real early. Use the wooden yo-yo. It is good on slimes, when you got yourself the wooden yo-yo then my next advice is to explore the overworld to find chests and loot them. If you find a spear then that’ll be good for distance, damage, and it pierces enemies.
I already finished it in expert mode and got bored, that's why I want to start all over again in master mode. maybe with this the game will be more challenging and exciting, especially with the loot that is pet!!
I'm here because it rained on the first day, doesn't seem like much but if you think about it, umbrella slimes and flying fish for a gearless player who is on his first time playing in master mode it's kinda hard
Got one tip, as soon as you get the wooden boomerang upgrade it with a star and you'll get a good knockback weapon, this will become handy often to get out of risky situations and get distance with the enemies. It also haves a great damage.
Here's a tip! Use shortswords as they attack fast which can help with lots of enemies and have a full 360° range of attack. (They also take less materials to make).
Getting a lot of boreal wood immediately crafting a bunch of bows until you get legendary or godly then mining up a bunch of ice and crafting frost burn arrow should be the first tip.
Me: Well this is how I usually play expert mode, it shouldn't be that hard... Me 20 minutes later: - Stop spawn camping you stupid zombies! - Why just why. - Get out of here! - Ssstttoooppp! - Finally manages to build a box just as the sun comes up ... I take it back, it's harder than I thought.
Truth be told I didn't go much futher in Master mode. I feel like it's made for a group of people that are all simiarly good at the game. I'm more of an independant gamer so it ended up as more of an exercise in frustration. I have been playing expert on the Switch recently though. Unfortunately that's not on 1.4, but I can live with that for now.
I'm playing mastermode in mobile and I came across this video, which is so helpful. Then my world decided to generate corruption biomes at both ends and they cover up half of the surface ⚰💀
All was good till me and my friend found a desert then a crimson then a forest then another crimson, to our right a desert the jungle then crimson can you believe the bs in that? 3 crimson biomes
1) Start swinging like crazy 2) Clench your buttcheeks 3) pray If you aren't the religious type you can always scream hysterically, but I highly recommend steps 1 and 2.
waw from all tip you can have.....this probably work if you never play the game and you want to start a normal world but in master you FIGHT WITH every tool you can that include npc and every little trick you can find ...
I can easily survive pre-Hardmode master, now Hardmode that’s another story, you touch or get hit by a projectile WITH good armor the dmg is about 150-300
tip 4 was def the reason why i died a lot in my master mode video it could also just be that its my first time playing terraria C: anyways good stuff - maybe check out my video!
i got a godly magic boomerang first magic boomerang i crafted and its so nice i feel like a can play again (i dont have tinker yet and i havent beaten bosses yet)
