To me, English is quite a mess. I try not to pronounce anything remotely as I would in German and then I see a French word and pronounce it with a French accent and say American words with a fake British accent...

OMG, that was my ABSOLUTE favorite show when I was in my late teens/early 20s! I even liked the reboot with Dennis Farina. I think it should be brought back again, totally new format, etc. Find a really great host (who do you think would be perfect for that? I can't think of anyone offhand, but maybe someone like Robert Wagner?) That'd be EPIC!! I liked the new(er) reboot because there were so many mysteries from the original that were solved and we were informed of the updates. Awesome show that really did help a lot of mysteries get resolved. 🙂

If you want to take care of some ghosts with your gun just load up some rock salt in the shell. Yeah you might have to do a bit extra cleaning but still it cuts down on the clutter in your house.

Hey darkness remember me? This isn’t a attempt for small fame but this video is perfectly timed because I was diagnosed with depression a few days ago and My grandmother (96) passed away about a month ago and my aunt never told any family besides the one other family member in the state she lived in (Florida) so me living all the way up in Maine never found out until the day of the funeral (yesterday) when my cousin called me asking me why I wasn’t there

People people be chill some people like to express them selves. You both sound like you've been through some awful awful stuff, as have we all. I'm sorry for both of the losses ypu have suffered, and the illness you are going through. It's shit, and not nice to go through any of it. Yes I do know. I'm in the same boat. Only it was my mother who passed. Yes I've a few issues in my head as well as do lots of folks. Some can talk about it more than others.

When my baby was weeks old, we were home alone. My roommate was out of town for the holidays. It was late. 1 AM or so. I had just fed my baby and I was laying with her, reading lets not meet stories on reddit. I was already a little creeped out, thinking I was hearing noises. We lived in a wooded area on the outskirts of our city, so it could be spooky. All the sudden I definately hear the front door open. I jump up, put my baby in her crib grab my bat and open my door slowly. My room was at the end of the hall. I look out and sure enough, the door is standing wide open. Now I am flipping out. I don't hear anyone inside but it's dark and I can't see much. I decide to silently charge, ready to ram the bat into whomever I came across. I get to my door and I hear someone outside. I start yelling all kinds of obscenities ready to fight for our lives. And in walks my very concerned looking roommate. Thank god I recognised her before I busted her face. She decided to come home a day early.

My dad has many experiences of scary home alone stories from two different houses. In the first house, he was coming downstairs to see the shadow of a figure peeking around the corner at him. But, when he got to the bottom of the stairs nobody was there Another time in another house, he was washing up in the kitchen and someone come into the kitchen behind him. Turning around expecting to see me he saw nobody there. Checking the entire house he realised he was alone My grandfather was once all alone in a deserted factory he worked at. Walki g down the stairs of an elevated office he passed what he assumed to be another worker going up to the office and said hello. After a few more steps, he realised he didn't know the person. So, he ran back up to the office to find it empty

I’m home alone until my bf gets off work, when I get scared at home I call him. My apartments are one stories connected by the crawlspace above our homes. We each have an attic trap door in our bathrooms to it. But my door won’t open. I don’t know if something heavy is on top? Because there’s no lock. I hear sounds like some big man clumsily crawling on hands and knees above me. I have a creepy neighbor who I suspect of it. I’ve caught him looking at me and my boyfriend when we came out of our house, he was hiding behind a bush holding a detached mirror from a car (he doesn’t have one) and he was using it to look at us without sticking his head around the bushes. He seems unstable, I’ve heard him screaming abuse at his cat, deeply weird stuff and not what you’d usually hear someone yelling at their pet. He is about 56, lives alone and doesn’t have a car (or a job I believe).I hear noises in my apartment when I’m alone, only when I’m alone. And it’s hard to sleep when I have to because I hear the noises more when I lay down and try to sleep. My boyfriend thinks it’s animals or something. He doesn’t think I’m being realistic. Any advice?

Being from Newfoundland, i can tell you ...respectively, no-one calls it "hagging" , you either "take with the hag" or "you get's the hag" and coming from personal experience She don't mess with your stuff or your room, she don't mess with anything but you , she wakes you when your asleep, she never lets you move .. anything but your eye's, she hides in the darkness or right in front of your face. She always jumped at me, every single time i'd look around and find her, as soon as my eyes would lock with her black pits for eyes she would smile a wild toothy grin and launch from where ever she was, sitting on the floor or in the corner or even on the goddamn ceiling , it felt real as sure as kelloggs has cornflakes, it felt real.

The shadow demon story reminds me of that one titled "Bedtime" at least I think that's what it's called? For those who aren't familiar with it: A young boy gets moved into a certain bedroom and every night something crawls into the bottom bunk bed from out of the wall. I don't recall every single detail, but I think every night the thing keeps trying to get closer to him. When he calls for his mom the thing disappears, and when the mom sleeps in the bb it doesn't show up of course. Unfortunately, the mom has to go out of town because I think her mom becomes sick. The poor boy is then left with a dad who doesn't believe him, so that's when the creature starts actin a fool and actually wrapping it's arms and legs around the boy at night. He doesn't go thru it in any other bdr and none of his other family members experience anything when they're sleeping in that particular room. There's even a second half to the story when he's grown up, and is doing very well until he goes back to that damn house because the creature latches back onto him. It's a helluva story and I recommend it to any and everyone. Otis Jiry's version is my favorite so far.

A few years ago my son made some chili I have a dietary issue! Anyway most times I am in my room alone...sometimes the whole house except me and the pets well on this day very alone except for the ghost who started gagging when I passed gas and as he was stumbling trying to make a rapid exit I said quite calmly “that’s what happens with chili!” I don’t believe he ever came back! Makes me feel sad 😢.

my parents let me stay home alone during summer break since i was 8, when i was 10 someone tried to break in the house while I was there alone and the home phone was broken so i couldn't call the cops (this was before everybody had cell phones) when the guy started kicking the door in i held it shut till he gave up

I live at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in a fairly remote area. Our closest neighbors are about a quarter of a mile away. No street lights. Spotty cell reception.
